What a scam. I scheduled an appointment for them to fix few things that I was told were under…read morewarranty, one of which was a loud buzzing noise from my Hayward C200S filter housing. Tech said this is a super common issue and just overall bad design as the rubber end cap eventually forms holes/cracks so it no longer seals properly. This filter was just over a hear old, but he replaced the filter element and it fixed the issue. Then to my surprise I get a random invoice for almost $260 for the filter and install labor, when there was zero conversation or consent given for this non warrantied service. I spoke with Kevin the store manager from the Lakewood Ranch store who told me that according to his tech he did discuss with me, which is totally false. His solution was to just apologize and come get their now used filter and give me back mine, that basically they did nothing wrong. Then on top of it they were supposed to fix one remaining issue they missed on their original appointment and the tech said he was told to just install my old filter and leave. Again very poor communication as Kevin said nothing about cancelling this follow up call. I merely told him that in the future I wouldn't be a customer do theirs and he assumed this name to just cancel anything pending, instead of asking.

They took over one year to complete my pool, when they promised at contract signing that it would "only take a few months". Completion should have been in June, but didn't happen until 10/31. Lots of blaming the county, blaming other contractors, blaming Ian (which happened a few years earlier), etc, etc. The workers just show up unannounced, which is alarming when they appear in your backyard without prior notice. Once the pool cage was up, they'd also just walk right on in. Extremely unprofessional for them to not bother knocking on the door to alert you they are there to work. Shoddy work (one part has failed twice already). They also don't know how to get the control panel to work with the app (which the sales guy said was "so easy to do"). This company has also called me a liar to prospective new customers. It's extremely unprofessional for them to do that. If any of you all want proof, I have tons of email and text trails showing that this company royally sucked and didn't do their job professionally, nor on time. And to call me a liar for letting the world know about the terrible experience I had...they are horrific. When you have loads of negative reviews about a company, it really tells the story. And that story is .... *THIS COMPANY IS THE PROBLEM*, not me or anyone else that's trying to warn you to stay away from them.

My Jandy TruClear salt system was installed in April 2024 and failed just over two years later, still within Jandy's 3-year warranty. Ocean Blue informed me of the issue after a routine cleaning shift, but instead of helping get it handled as a warranty claim, they told me they're not an authorized Jandy warranty service station and that I need to deal with Jandy myself. Then, to rub salt in the wound, they quoted me $1,808.30 just to replace the salt cell. Not the whole system - just the removable cell! The cell takes 2 minutes to swap, it's just popping the cover and put it back. For perspective, the exact same complete Jandy TruClear 35K *whole system* (TRUCLEAR11K) is currently listed brand-new online for $1,379.99 shipped. I've been a Pool Troopers customer for more than 11 years and continued with Ocean Blue after the takeover, paying $160/month. I expected a lot better than being left to chase the warranty myself while being handed a ridiculous replacement quote. The ultimate irony is that Ocean Blue says in writing they're "not an authorized Jandy warranty service station," yet they're perfectly happy to charge me $1,808.30 for another Jandy cell. If the replacement fails under warranty, are they gonna tell me yet again that they aren't an authorized warranty station and send me somewhere else? Hopefully this warns other former Pool Troopers customers before they find out the hard way.

Lowes did a bate and switch on my 500 series Bosch dishwasher. Lowes said they would pick it up, the floor managers state they will call you back and don't. The most horrific lack of communication I have ever seen. Long story short. Item bought was not item charged nor received for. The installer took 2 days to return dishwasher to store and still they had not sent me proof they credited my credit card. Took from day before Memorial day weekend til today 8/11/26 to get the manager Chris to get off his behind and send me proof he credited me back all my money ... I have yet to see!! No receipt sent to my home, it required me buying two dishwashers and a total cluster puck of false promises. The communication in that store for the most part is horrific. In July I asked store manager to call me back. To date never a call, never a peep. Run don't walk from this store. Do not ever spend money there for something you cannot carry physically by yourself out of that store. The worst communication skills. The horrific lack of training. Folks do NOT KNOW the products. They proved their word means Nothing! You can expect at least 20 phone calls by you chasing them all down to get issues resolved. I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER BUY ANY APPLIANCE FROM THESE INEPT, LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND LACK OF TRAINING, CLEARLY UNSKILLED IN COMMUNICATIONS AND NIGHT-MAREISHABLY UNDEPENDABLE FOLKS!
