We've been here three times. This is where we get liquid solar cover for our pool. The people…read moreworking the back counter are generally more welcoming and knowledgeable. The young girl that works at the check-out counter is evidentially happy to do no more than that. Stock for floats and pool toys was very low a few months ago but this visit we noticed a nice variety of items being offered.

I am surprised the location on the parkway in Cape Coral by the UPS store is still in business. I…read morehave dealt with unprofessional people in my life but the lackadaisical attitude of this employee just blew me away. I will keep this short. I use their liquid chlorine jug program and have never had any issues until the last trip. I routinely get 4 jugs refilled, store them in the garage. I got home, unloaded them onto the floor, later that night I was in the garage and smelled a "clean" smell. I didn't pay attention; my wife uses bleach on the whites when she washes. The next morning, I was back in the garage and as I started walking towards the jugs the smell got stronger. I looked down and saw that the jug had slowly leaked onto the floor. I took it and placed it on a concrete bench out by the pool. That jug was the first jug I started using, it also leaked onto the bench. Today, 7/9 I took only 3 jugs to get refilled. I had purposely written with marker, "hole in jug" to make sure I didn't get the same jug. The black-haired employee after I told him what transpired with the hole in the jug and wanting to exchange the defective jug with a "new" one, I would have to pay 10 dollars for a "new" jug. I explained the situation again and his was response was the same thing. I will NEVER use that business again, I should have looked at the reviews and gone elsewhere for my business. I just filled my 2 jugs, paid and walked away. As I was reading some of the comments the only replies Pinch A Penny sends are on reviews that are positive. I wonder why....

We're providing the 2 stars only because the pool, once it was finally completed, is beautiful…read more However, getting it done was one of the worst experiences we've ever been through. Once the papers were signed in January 2022, things came to a screeching halt and the service was beyond awful. We physically went to their office multiple times to try to get responses to our inquiries since no one would get back to us. The timeline went from being completed in May, to August, and pushed out week by painful week. It was not fully completed until late February of 2023. The house was supposed to be a vacation rental but we couldn't rent it with the back yard torn up so we lost 7 months of rental income. Every step that had to be completed was a gut wrenching nightmare. We even followed up by chasing down some of the subs ourselves since we couldn't get answers from TP. They changed employees regularly so we'd have to start at zero with each new person. They also tore up part of the concrete sidewalk alongside the house and said they would fix it, but never did. The only upside was when Ian hit 9 months after we signed, there was only a concrete hole in the ground so there was nothing to get wrecked. Unless you have no expectations of a timeline or customer service, don't go there.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! My pool was completed exactly 13 months ago. About a month ago I…read morenoticed my pool kept losing water after I filled it up completely. I called proline pools about my problem because it was still under warranty, and the lady told me that they were under new management and they could not fix my pool. She said she'd speak with the previous owner Robert. Ok, after a lot of back & forth bullshit, I could not get a hold of Robert, the new owner would not fix my pool, so I called in a pool tech from Red Rhino, and within an hour he located the leak. It came from the pipe connected to one of my circulators. They came out within 2 days and fixed the leak, he even showed me the busted pipe, and where he dug it out. Red Rhino is a great company, but this was an expensive repair because mind you my pool was sitting dormant for about a month and green algae had taken over, so even after the leak I had Red Rhino to give me a quote on the algae removal (which was $400) because I could not get a hold of anyone from proline pools. Overall, I had to foot a tab of $2,500. Even after I sent them the damn repair bill, I haven't heard a single peep from anyone at proline pools. I was thinking about filing a lawsuit, but I won't be petty about how they were to me. A $90,000 custom pool had a $2500 leak nearly one year after being built, & no one there would honor their workmanship after I contacted them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, AND IF YOU DO DECIDE TO CHOOSE THIS COMPANY, GOD HELP YOU IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR POOL!
