I was promised and paid for an extra cleanout pipe that ran the width of the deep end of our pool, just in case of flooding water! Well, our pool flooded, and they only put a pipe about 5 foot straight down. This caused a huge crack in the bottom of our pool. Other things that were wrong with the pool: 1) spa was not connected or piped to our pump in order to filter that water. 2) the pool is almost 5 inches higher on one side (not level at all).

I don't know how many times we have dropped by Aqua Leisure Pools (ALP) since moving in for pool water testing, salt, chlorine, troubleshooting for the pool pump etc., but the guys there have all been so, so helpful, like a neighbor lending a helping hand. Most of the time, they'll suggest bringing in whatever part and they'll help look at it or test it and then give their recommendations. I mean, they're not the cheapest, but we want to give them our business because they have our trust! We're now in the process of getting a new pool liner (holy crap, why do they cost so much?!) because the last time we had the pool inspected, they found about 100+ holes that had been patched previously. So we're purchasing from ALP, because of the way they have treated us since the beginning. To my surprise, they stay open all year round. I believe they close Sundays. I guess they open for all the hot tub owners and clients that keep their pool open all year long too? The shop is on Battlefield, in the same lot as Carvel ( I feel so bad at times when we're going to ALP and the kids think we're getting ice cream LOL...). Scheduling was a concern, the liner takes two weeks to come in but we had to wait another month to have it installed due to staffing issues- an everyday struggle (lately) for businesses. The install was a breeze! Their employees were so nice and did such a terrific job! They explained the process from start to finish and delivered on their promise. We appreciated their attention to detail and their professionalism, in this day and age we truly value people that care about their trade, it gives us a newfound respect. We had a rough and long time because of a lot of weather related issues at first. 3 different snow…read moredelays. That is not the fault of Aegean but the communication was a problem. There seemed to be many different groups of people that were experts in different areas but I never knew who to ask the right questions to. My husband was texting Ron a lot and he would always initiate most of our questions. We were not informed most times about what was happening and why things moved so slowly. The excavation guy was quick and friendly. Most of the trucks hauling out had a bit of communication issues which caused some friction between the main guy. Jesse dealt with our concrete and pavers and deck which was a problem- not nice communication. They put in the wrong color of sand in about half the paver area and Jesse insisted there was only one color?? They finally did the best changing color but that was a mess. Everything took a lot longer than expected but in the end we do love our pool ( not really the wrong sand issue ) but communication was horrible. Overall we believe we got a quality job.

We opened up the panel and an ozone valve was cracked. I called and spoke to Chad. He suggested we bypass it and told me how. I worried it would be over my head but he said I could always call him out if I couldn't do it. I went to Home Depot and bought 2 barbed connectors and some hose and my son was able to make the repair. CHAD saved me a service call at the least and my son fixed it easily. I'm sure East Coast would rather him come out but his phone help has secured their business for me. If I need repairs he will be who I call and if he needs to come out I won't mind because he has saved me from previous repairs. Very happy with Chad and East Coast Leisure! I should mention East Coast also has a terrific pool water department and the young people there have helped me hundreds of times. Their prices are competitive and they usually have great prices on salt.
