They originally told us the liner would be installed months earlier, but it ended up being delayed by four months with barely any communication. We had to keep chasing them for updates, and even then, responses were vague or nonexistent. On top of that, they never followed through on installing the pool light. The entire process felt disorganized and unprofessional. They left a mess in our back yard even though they asked us where to discard materials. This company is poorly managed and lacks basic customer service. After about a month of poor communication and unprofessional behavior I was very hesitant to give them more money and terminated the contract. I called about the deposit and was told it would be issued via check. Over a month later, still no deposit, called for the 2nd time after a month and was met with rude and combative behavior by their clerk Ashley. Wasted enough time with these clowns, handing the matter over to the contractor board, possibly small claims court to follow. Ultimately went with a different contractor who has been fantastic to work with.

I used Coastal once before several years ago to repair a leak in my in-ground concrete pool. They…read moredid a good job, though they did not reinstall my main drain cover they removed and said they would have to charge me for another trip to reinstall it. However this year when my pool started leaking again, I contacted them (starting in June) asking when they could come back out. Over the next two months, they told me again and again that they would be out in the next few days, the next week, etc. Unfortunately they never showed and never once called to tell me they would not be able to come out. After 2 months I was forced to find another company to do the repair. While I was calling looking for an alternative, I related to various other companies that I wanted to use Coastal but could not get them to come out. Two of those companies, on their own, told me that Coastal was known for that. Again when Coastal did come out a few years ago, they successfully fixed my leak and for a reasonable fee. But after calling them this year five times and being promised support, but never getting itt, I won't be a repeat Coastal customer.
