My hot tub was installed in 2007. Since then, it hasn't worked more than it has. When i would call the big Spa or pool companies, they would recommend buying a new hot tub. So, I see Chester's information on Nextdoor.com and the reviews were great. I saved his number and called him recently. He came over with everything he needed to get my tub up and running. Called on a Monday to see if they could get out by Thursday to get an estimate as we were in a Time crunch. Told me they would be able to get by in a couple of days and by Wednesday no one had come by or contacted the homeowner. Following up on Wednesday the person answering the phone laughed when I reminded him of our request to go by. And said maybe he could go by there Friday if it's not raining. What a way to do business. We were working off of a deadline and he knew it. I would have certainly scheduled someone else had I known about this lack of professionalism . Great service! Even though I had to schedule a couple of weeks out due to how busy they were. It was worth the wait. He was able to diagnose the problem with my hot tub quickly and recommend what was needed. Then came back to install the new pump as soon as it came in (it had to be ordered). I didn't even have to take time off work for the install. Very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

Used Chester, the owner of this company twice, because his first repair which was far more costly than he estimated did not resolve the problem. He took nine months to return and reevaluate which resulted in the same ongoing problem. We just recently had Chester fixed our hot tub that was sold "as is" when we bought this house. First, He was super on time, which is so nice. Second, He was patient, taking his time to fix, answered all our questions and of course, he got the hot tub to work. Our spa wouldn't come up to temperature and the jets weren't firing when we opened it for the season. I messaged A1 late at night on a Sunday and Chester messaged me back early Monday morning. I made the mistake of buying a hot tub online (don't do it!)... and the first time I refilled it I got all kinds of error codes--with a lame manual that made little sense and no dealership to come to the rescue. Fortunately, I found A1 and Chester here on Yelp/Google... He phoned me back promptly, was here in three days... and made all right with the world again. My hot tub fix was relatively simple, which Chester was able to diagnose pronto... and from there he gave me a full-on tutorial about chemicals, PH, filters and information that really matters to keep my hot tub healthy (I already had the chemicals; he was NOT attempting a hard sell to buy them from him). It turns out I had added so many chemicals when I refilled the tub after it had gotten dirty the first time... that I probably would have melted my own skin off... I had enough chlorine for a full-size pool, ahem. Chester helped me quickly drain it again with his own tools... and then stayed around as I refilled it to make sure I had no airlock issues... and he did not charge me more for the extra time on a Friday afternoon. I spent quite a bit of money with this company about 8 months ago, bought a new motor, new heater, new cover... then the tub started leaking after the installation of the motor. NOW Mr. Lewis will not respond to my call or my text ?? I spent lots of money and I still don't have a working Hot tub. Not happy. Well folks...I did get a call back today . He is coming out Monday, he says the rain kept him from returning my call. So I will be sure to update this review... Everyone deserves a second chance !!! I have a working Hot Tub now ! Chester fixed our hot tub in the past but doesn't return texts or phone calls. He advertised in our church bulletin so we wanted to give him some business but completely unsatisfied. Find someone else if you want your spa fixed. He apparently doesn't need the business. read more

This is the best spa repair person I've ever worked with. I had a leak with my Dimensino One Hot Tub. I had called a couple of other companies to come out and fix the problem. the other companies quoted huge charges for just showing up to evaluate the problem. Then I found A1 Spa through a friend's recommendation. They quoted me a reasonable rate and they showed up when expected. Chester (the technician) was amazing in that he just tackled the problem even though it involved opening up the side of the hot tub and removing the insulation to get at the leak.
