They have a large pool area which is definitely the nicest of the YMCAs in the area. Their lifting/cardio area is on the smaller side, but all the equipment is very nice. It is pretty busy most the time (5:30am + 5:30pm crew), but depending on what you are working you should have a pleasant experience.

I don't know if you need to be with a member to go swimming but you did have to pay. An adult price was $10 and kids under 12 was $7. I thought that was a little steep for a 2 year old. I thought he would possibly be free because he would be with my husband. The facilities were nice. To get a locker you need to leave a drivers license. I thought that was a little much. Oh well. There were swim classes going on so ever so often, the small swimming area would be flooded by parents with their kids. The water sprayers were fun for the kids also. This place is fun especially during the cold months but I would hope for cheaper prices for small kids.

Then he says he doesn't service pumps he doesn't sell. I ordered chemicals from him. No response for 3 weeks. Bought my new pump. Paid someone else to install it. I ordered my own chemicals. A month later, he sends me a bill for $200. He never finished the job and completely ignored me for three weeks, then charged me the entire amount for pool opening. I fired him and I had given him several referrals before this year. Not professional!!!!! We are paying for his new truck n trailer! Very unhappy! Been with him 6 years! Also doesn't return texts in a timely fashion. Go elsewhere!

I have a hot tub that has a leak. I contacted Goodall Pools and Spas for a service call. They sent…read moretwo technicians to check it out on 11/19/24. They pulled off the 4 panels surrounding my hot tub and felt around for leaks. They said they could not find the leak and reattached the panels and left. I went on You Tube and searched leaking hot tubs. You Tube pointed out specific areas within hot tubs inner workings that can be prone to leaks. You Tube showed how to remove the insulation to check for leaks at these key spots. The Goodall technicians didn't do any of this. They did not appear to be trained on leaking hot tub repairs. I received a bill for a service charge of $99 which I am willing to pay. However, Goodall Pools also included an additional charge of $160 for the technicians attempt to locate the leak. I have called on numerous occasions to speak with a manager about the extra charges but to no avail. Apparently Goodall Pools does not return customer calls to try and resolve customer complaints. That in itself speaks volumes on how reputable this company is so I highly recommend you find someone else to service your hot tub.

If you've never installed a pool previously, you better find someone who has so that you can ask…read moreevery question in the book because they offered up absolutely no proactive information or planning for our project. I am trying to like these people as they install our inground pool, but they seem to want every step of the way to be a surprise and half finished. Communication would have gone a long, long way but they completely and utterly lacked in informing us of what to expect, when to expect it, and made clear attempts at excuses for things that could have been straightforward communication and I would have understood. The subcontractors they used were very nice and seemed to do a decent job. My impression is that Goodall failed at project planning to complete the job efficiently, and communication was at best reactive to our constant probes of questions to figure out what was going to go on at our home with this large project. It made it very difficult to plan our own parts of the project (ie landscaping, etc) and wasted a lot (a couple thousand dollars) of our money with wasted materials and I can't even tell you how much of our time has been wasted that could have been prevented if they provided a clear plan, design, and information. I will update this review when we're all said and done to hopefully a better rating with full details.
