The staff member behind the counter looked at us, went to the back, and returned to say they were closed. BEWARE!!!!!! Made an appointment to have them do a site visit for a heat pump. They don't tell you there's a fee at the time of scheduling. On the day of site visit, the service guy calls to say he's on his way, and, by the way, there's $100+ fee for the inspection, BUT it's deducted from cost of the install/equipment if you purchase from Leslie's. The guy shows up, and the first thing he does is, make you sign the service agreement and pay. Then the very next thing he does is tell you that THEY LOST THEIR LICENSE SIX MONTHS AGO AND HAVE NO IDEA WHEN IT WILL BE REINSTATED! How is it not descriptive that they never tell you that THEY'RE NOT LEGALLY ALLOWED to install heat pumps until after they collect your money, but 1) are able to still do a site survey to install a heat pump and tell you that the service fee is deducted from the install fee knowing they can't install?????!! I had a problem with my pool. I brought a photo of the part I needed and they sold me the wrong part. I went to the store and rebought the part and paid for installation (expecting they would call for a time.. ) after a second week waiting I called and got a person who didn't speak English well and the hung up. I drove to the shop and they scheduled an appointment ( we are at three weeks now) The tech showed up and refused to install until MY WIFE trimmed the bushes. He installed the part and couldn't figure out how to start the pump and suggested we spend $1500 on a new pump motor!! I can home a started the motor.. incompetent!! Avoid read more

3 strikes and you are out. First one was I was looking for a vaccum hose and,pole, and the vaccum itself. I went into the store with my son and there were two sales guys talking to another client. I spent about 5 min in the store and no one even noticed I was there... I left the store and went to P. A P. And got what I needed very quickly. Second time I went in for chlorine on a Monday afternoon, there was no chlorine until Thursday... Third time was on Saturday 9:45am (9/11) and the store was closed even with the door sign saying that opens on Sat at 9am. P. A P. Had juggs ready to go!! Craig is incredible! We're buying a new home with a pool and equipment that's pretty old. Craig has tons of information & knowledge. He didn't push us to but the most expensive items and took his time explaining stuff to us. Craig is the man. He's the store manager and super knowledgeable. Most of his advice usually involves not buying anything at all. They coupon match Pinch a Penny and more. There's a military discount if you qualify. They test your water for free. If there's only one employee and more than a couple of patrons in the store be prepared to avoid or wait a while. read more
