For three years we've been having unexpected and unusual loss of in the pool neighbors who put in maybe once a month we put every three or four days we thought it was just evaporation, but it turned out to be an installation error by artificial people who put in artificial the three years ago. Once Jonathan leak by doing a pressure test he showed it to me and repaired it very expertly. I just filled the up between last night and this morning and I'll be very happy to see the not go down like it has been doing for three years. I have contacted the vendor who sold us artificial and I have requested a refund. I sent him the pictures of the damage of the artificial turf, concrete nails piercing. I was losing an inch of water daily in our pool/spa combo. RED Rhino tech spent a few hours in and around the pool and spa checking everywhere for leaks. He found one leak at the underwater light housing and repaired it on the spot. He found a more serious leak at one of the spa jets that required removal of a section of the spa surface around the jet to remove and replace a cracked PVC pipe behind the wall. That repair took a 2nd visit from a different tech trained to do that kind of work. It took a few hours but the finished job matches the pool surface well and leak is repaired. read more

The company is 100% committed to customer satisfaction, and all people you interact with at Red Rhino are company employees (they do *not* "contract out" work to third parties). If you read no further, just know that - from our experience - Red Rhino is the "real deal" and earned two horns up! The "short version" of our experience... At the recommendation of Kent and his sons at Pinch a Penny #97 (Southchase/Hunters Creek), we contacted Red Rhino. Our first call was to the effervescent and extremely knowledgeable Rhino Rebekah, who was happy to take the time to explain the entire leak detection process, answer questions, provide the quote and set the appointment. Arriving on-time with a encouraging smile and joyful attitude, Rhino Nate kindly explained the leak detection procedures he would be doing and confirmed that - not only would he verbally explaining what was discovered - but also would email a written follow-up report with photo documentation. Once inspection was complete, Nate (still upbeat and encouraging) explained the we had a skimmer problem, that he had performed a temporary patch on the problem areas (which was included in the cost of the inspection), and detailed what Red Rhino could do to completely replace and repair the skimmer and tiles, along with providing an estimate for the skimmer replacement. NO HARD SELL! Basically, Rhino Nate gave us his direct number if we had any questions for him, and then said we could call the office if we would like to have Red Rhino come replace/repair the problem. No rush - it's up to us. He then thoroughly cleaned up the area and was on his way. Needless to say, we opted to have Red Rhino do the repairs and replacement of the inground pool skimmer, and called to schedule the job - which they fortunately could do about a week later. We were fortunate to have another "Super Rhino", Eric, as our skimmer replacement professional. Again, Eric called a half-hour before arrival and arrived smiling and optimistic. After introducing himself, explaining what all was involved in the project, and answering our questions, Eric (still smiling) unloaded all of the equipment and stuff he needed from his truck and went to work! It really was a masterful job, and nobody would ever even notice the pool deck had a two-foot square hole cut into it! Two more horns up!! The price??? Well, as this review may online for awhile, let me say that I Googled price estimates for "inground pool skimmer replacement" and that Red Rhino was above the "average" prices I saw, but was *not* above the highest, by any means! More importantly: 1. Customer service was TOP NOTCH every step of the way 2. Every Red Rhino person we met was positive, professional, caring and respectful 3. The work was exemplary We feel we got what we paid for...and *more*. PLUS...we feel confident that if any problems were to arise, Red Rhino would take care of the issue in a fair and honest manner. Our pool started leaking about 200 gallons in 24 hours. I called the pool maintenance company and they came out and confirmed there was a leak and recommended Red Rhino. I called them on Monday morning. The tech, Jason came on Tuesday and preformed the tests. We had not one but 2 cracked pipes. The repair was scheduled for that Friday but around noon on Thursday, the repairman called to say he could do it that day. Over he came and fixed the two broken pipes. I HAVE NOTHING BUT GREAT THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE LADY WHO TOOK MY FIRST CALL, AS WELL AS JASON THE DETECTION TECH AND EMILIO THE REPAIR TECH. They were all efficient, had great communication skills, and were friendly. They explained what they were doing, what the next steps would be and the outcome should we proceed with the repairs. We selected Red Rhino to diagnose why our pool was dropping the level of water every couple of days. Justice came to analyze our pool and found we had a leak in a recirculation fixture about a foot below the surface. Justice performed a temporary repair and told us it could last a long time, or more likely, a shorter period of time. Beyond the diagnosis for which we hired Red Rhino, Justice showed us much more about our pool as we are first time pool owners. For us, Justice went above and beyond our expectations. A number of days later, we must have jostled the recirculation fixture as it started leaking again - nothing to do with the original temporary repair - so we called Justice again and he came back to the house and helped us make additional adjustments to our pool and we decided to go for a permanent repair of the leak. A couple of weeks later, Red Rhino repair specialist, Manny, arrived to make the permanent repair. Before Manny undertook any steps in the repair process, he explained what he was going to do in detail that was easily understood by a layman. Manny went about his work, periodically checking in to let us know how far he had gone and showing us the damage as he dug up the concrete around the leaking fixture. Not only was he courteous at all times, as was Justice, but he wanted to make sure we understood what was happening and what he was doing to make the piping to the fixture more flexible than the original installation. Both of these gentlemen went above and beyond our expectations, are exemplative representatives of their company, and had vast expertise in their field. We had water leaks in our pool for the past few years. Had 2 other leak detection companies checked out before; and none have the service dedication and knowledge as Red Rhino. They came and check our pool thoroughly and even involved using sonar equipment to detect all the leaks underground around the pool area and outside the grass area. They charged me $475 for the leak detection which they took 3 days to accomplish, that shows how dedicated and committed they are on finding all the leaks. Other companies just check inside the pool for leaks. They fixed all the issues and patched up all the openings they created to fix all those leaks. It seemed the water level in my pool would go down overnight. It was getting to be expensive filling the pool. I did an online search for companies that performed leak detection and decided to try Red Rhino based their good reviews. I called and scheduled an appointment. The man who showed up was polite and professional. Aside from swimming around the pool perimeter doing a visual for cracks, he pressure tested the pipes, checked connections to the pool pump, and used dyes around the jets, light, and water intake. Results were, a leak near one water jet which he patched and a leak in the water intake manifold which would require another visit. Two days after the inspection the company came out to replace the water intake manifold (skimmer). This entailed cutting the concrete, breaking the old skimmer and cutting the existing underground pipes. After the hole was cleaned the new skimmer was put in place, pipes reconnected and then he performed a pressure test for leaks. After it was determined there were no leaks the hole was backfilled and lastly, cement was poured. He performed a general clean up of the area. The whole process took about 4 1/2 hours and cost $1295. That price includes a $100 discount from the previous visit. Overall, I'm happy with the service and work. I'll be watching the pool progress. read more

My worry for how things would tur out was for nothing ! I'd just re-surfaced my pool and deck with new pavers but had a pool leak that had been plaguing me for some time. I'd hoped the resurfacing would resolve it, but it did not. I was referred to Red Rhino by Dale's Gas, who service my pool. What an artist Faro was and he cared about the results as much as I did when fixing my leak. He had to tear apart my new decking and cut a hole in my new pool surface to stop two leak points in my skimmer and a return. You would never know that he dug into my newly renovated pool deck after he put it back together. Or that he cut into my newly renovated pool surface. I suspect he even had specific colored stones brought to him to match the ones on my pool surface. His care in putting it back together is in the finished product. Perfect ! Had a leak in my 26 year old pool. Technician came out in his wet suit and goggles and found two leaks. He checked the pipes, returns, light, jets and main drain. He physically checked every tile and jet. He patched the leaks and I scheduled a permanent repair. The repair technician knocked at my door precisely at the appointed time (9am), partially drained the pool, fixed both leaks and was finished by noon.
