They didn't tie the cover to the side like they should have, so I had no call and wait for them to come out again to fix that. I won't use them again this year- still looking.

At first, I was just going to leave it alone and let my wife deal with them. UNTIL Tracy called and insinuated that we destroyed our own grass! And then when I went to the store to get a refund, the owner told the staff to call the police, they wouldn't and I insisted that they did. The damage they did to my backyard is over $1000.00!!!!!! He wasn't kidding when he said we had to start permitting process in summer 2025 to open in time for Memorial Day weekend 2026 either - getting construction permit processed was the biggest wait. Now we opened just in time for summer - and she's a beauty! Pool Boss team coordinated the whole project from start to finish - the designer Michael helped us get the plans and measurements exactly right, even taking into consideration our future addition plans for the property. Tina filed and coordinated a million permit forms for us. Matt & Dan were very patient helping us figure out the on-sight restrictions. The construction itself was very quick and fun to watch (the digging was done with surgical precision!). Special thank you to Joanna for very clear communication throughout! The scheduling and ongoing notifications to keep us apprised of the progress were very helpful! My BIGGEST mistake that i am reading all this after getting cheated. PLEASE don't hire them. I got my heater and pump replaced less than a year, spent more than 8k last year and now pump got leaks because of poor cheap work done in putting the pipes connecting with filter and skimmers. They now disown fixing it without additional charge for which he already got paid in full. multiple reasons given to me you should know .. 1st he says let the pump leak for 10 days and it will fix automatically :), then when I let that happen and it still didn't stopped leaking magically, his first question was are you a weekly service customer, or did you open the pool with us??.. if not then we will not take care of mess we created without taking more money. Kevin thinks he is the smartest person.. I see him in many forums acknowledging only good feedback and disowns or finds fault with customer in case of negative feedback.. he is going to do same here. Please stay away from him.. let him live in his self-obsessed world. Only solace I have is that I dont have to deal with these guys anymore.

Judge stated that S&R did "consequential damage", but only gave me a $300 credit, so I'm out another $700 (at least) to get the patio fixed. I also noted while doing a search in the Court system that S&R has averaged 8 court cases a year for the last 3 yrs! I searched another local pool company and found none. Be really careful dealing with this company - there are plenty of other options out there.

Our situation was worse then expected and Pool Bros lived up to their reputation walking us through each problem we had. The filter was broken, water was leaking when we tried to add water, parts were missing, and the cover had a hole. From David who told us exactly what we needed to purchase, to Chris the service tech and Dan who called to explain the situation, Pool Bros are miracle workers. Chris was cool calm and collected through the whole pool opening experience, assuring us it was going to be ok and he did, in fact, open the pool despite the multiple obstacles that he encountered. I met with them during the opening and trusted their professional recommendations. Once I was no longer there supervising, however, it became one additional charge after another. They identified plumbing issues and recommended that I pay to have the plumbing redone. I followed their recommendation and paid the additional cost. Yet the leaks that were part of the reason for addressing the plumbing still weren't resolved, and I was then faced with attempts to charge me even more. I have no problem paying for legitimate repairs that are clearly outside a maintenance contract. My problem is paying $3,098 for complete seasonal maintenance, approving additional work they recommended, and still repeatedly being presented with more charges while the underlying issues remain. For anyone considering them, my advice is simple: get every detail in writing and question every additional charge before approving anything. They got me this season. Never again. Stay away.
