This 5-star review is for the Melbourne, FL store Manager Bob, not for corporate Leslie's. I wasted several hours on line and on the phone (shoulda known better) unsuccessfully trying to order a pool pump. The off-shore "customer service" was for the most part extremely difficult to understand and did not have the training or experience to handle a simple question-Both times I tried the 800 number (OK, why try again after the first frustrating call?? Hoping maybe to get someone who could actually help??? Really??) they once again put me on hold and then finally would up transferring me to another "customer service" person who at least spoke english as a native tongue. However, that was the only thing that was better, as they couldn't answer my question, or help me place my order either. Finally I called Bob at the Melbourne, FL store, and in order to help resolve this fiasco, he took it upon himself to contact "corporate", got me in touch with a person who seemed to have a clue, and stayed on the line to make sure we arrived at a plausible conclusion on the phone call. I've had dealings with Bob at the store, and he exemplifies the kind of customer relations employee that seems to be disappearing from business today. Good on you, Bob! read more

We drive 20 minutes out of our way to frequent Leslies Pool Supply on West New Haven in Melbourne. The store is clean and well stocked with quality products. This store is managed by Bob McKee. It is not possible to manage a store better than him. Bob is a consummate professional and he makes things happen. He never up sells you for things that you do not need. In the middle of preparations for a wedding reception at our house, we had a small pool emergency. We purchased the replacement mechanical equipment and within a day and a half our equipment was installed at our house just in time for our event. This review of Bob and Leslies has little to do with how quickly Bob made things happen for us and more to do with high quality of Leslies products and the store being managed by the best store manager in the country. I value Bob's opinion on everything pool related. Prior to finding Bob at Leslies Pool Supply we had visited every pool supply store in the area. While to some pool supply stores may appear similar but the thing that cannot be duplicated or replaced is the caring and treatment customers receive by Bob Mckee. Ted M. read more

I am new hot tub owner and on well water. I have been disappointed with other pool companies I had tried previously, but have been extremely impressed with the customer service at Leslie's. I initially spoke with Bob on the phone and he was able to pin point issues going on with my water balance over the phone more accurately than anyone else I had spoken to before at other stores. I came in today with a test sample and was provided another great experience with Kepola the assistant manager. She took her time educating me and helping understand step by step how to fix some of the issues I have been having. Good prices on products with pool perk discounts offered as well. Previous reviews perplex me. My encounter with Kapola Bentley and Bob McKee was a refreshing and heart warming surprise from the usual run of the mill, standard retail experience. With genuinely personable care and attention, knowledge and comedic wit, they both spent an extensive amount of time talking with me and offering me help. I quickly forgot that I was talking with strangers, absorbed as I was, into this loving pocket of the Universe. They embody the best of what shopping in small town America use to be like. If the wider world was more rich with these two intelligent, kind and original personalities, I imagine we'd all be a more happy and healthy society. Stop in and you'll see what I mean. I urgently needed equipment and had called the store ahead. Once there, Ms. Bentley immediately began explaining and showing me options that would help. Unfortunately, the product I wanted wasn't available at her location but she called another store and secured one for me to pick up the next day. As soon as I got home, I get a call from the store. It was Ms. Bentley. After unloading a shipment (we had spoken about earlier), she located the product I wanted! Ms. Bentley immediately called to let me know that it was available and now in-store! I had a very stressful day with my pool and needed to get supplies as everything I have was ruined. I hate going into pool places because they sell you a lot of things you don't need. However when I went into Leslies I was not pressured. I got everything I needed for a reasonable price! Ms. Bentley is the one you need to see! She is great! She helped me out and gave me some helpful advice. I was breaking down in the store because my pool is just a mess and I do not know where you start! Really appreciated the time Ms. Bentley took with me when I went in. I wasn't a regular customer but woke up with a green pool...hmmm...our pool service seems to have missed something. So until they could get out to fix it - I needed some FAST help. I took in a sample and Ms. Bentley ran it through and found what was needed. She helped me pick out the specific supplies, recommended how to use them, and then suggested I come back in a couple days to have the water re-tested. Within hours we saw results and the follow-up visit showed some additional changes to be made. Result - one beautiful, sparkling pool. I'll be back! read more

As always Bob was so helpful with my problem that I had with another pool company that I was foolish enough to go online with and purchase an item from them. I ordered an item on July 4 that clearly said in stock and available , they took my money on July 5 and needless to say I am still waiting for said item?? The folks at Leslie's Pool, Bob and Ms. Bentley were very knowledgeable and our pool has NEVER looked better! We had a variety of problems, but in one night everything was clear again!! We will certainly go there in the future and when my Hot Tub is installed I already have my water bottle ready to take to them to test!! I used to be a pinch a penny shopper just because it was close to home. I stopped in Leslie's one day and that was all I needed to switch for good. The customer service is outstanding, I always leave happy... no matter how much I spend! The selection of pool supplies is much better than the other guys and the employees are friendly and helpful. Bob, the manager was very helpful with a pool problem I had He spent time with me. After resolving the filter problem, I purchased several products as the pool had been down for nearly 2 weeks. All staff wear mask which is nice. Always friendly but my favorite person is Bentley. She always gets me in and out of the store in a timely manner and is always super helpful. She goes over the water sample with me and tells me exactly what to do which is super helpful especially being a new pool owner. read more

I wandered in because this place is close to my work, really wasn't expecting much from a chain store, but the customer service was great. Their prices are so, but the staff seem to know pools so it's worth it just for the expert advice. They got my pool up and running and fixed the algae problem. read more

My go to place for weekly water testing and pool supplies. Asst. Manager Ms. Bentley is very knowledgeable, she is always able to answer any questions I've had while also providing friendly service.
