I like the chemicals and supplies Leslie's sells but the customer service was very poor the few times I purchased items there.

Although it seems like a lot of money, I understand the reasons behind collecting a deposit (customers unexpectedly cancelling appointments, technician time to travel and diagnose issues, etc.). I paid the deposit and we confirmed the next available appointment was 3/20/25. On 3/14/25 I got an email (no phone call) telling me "Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to complete your spa service on 3/20/25. Instead, we will be there 3/25/25". I was so frustrated and disappointed they had picked a new date without discussing it with me and that it was 5 days later. I discussed the issue with the service department, they apologized and said that was the earliest date. There was nothing more they could do. On 3/25/25, the day of my appointment, I get a voice message that said they needed to cancel the appointment and reschedule for 3/26/25. Because I have a fenced in yard with dogs I took the day off of work to be here. I'm beyond frustrated with NE Spas. Conveniently they took my money in less than 24hours but they have no problem rescheduling my appointments for 16 days. By the way their policy is no monetary refunds just store credit. So that's not even an option. I feel trapped because they have my money and left me no other option but to accept their dates.

(We used a different company in a neighboring town for years and although they did the job, dealing with them was super stressful 85% of the time.) We were so thrilled to find Pools and Cues, and would give them 10 Stars if we could! We had a lot of questions when we went in and they went above and beyond explaining things, gave us printed information, and wrote things down for us. They always fit our seasonal pool openings and closings into their busy schedule with a smile. They're easy to communicate with and they make it easy and effortless to pay them, which is a big deal if you're busy and want less complications in your life. We wish all local businesses could operate this smoothly. If you're looking for pool service, this is the place. They are exceptional.

I had them come on 2 occasions last summer to help with a service need, both times was changed 90.00 and the problem wasn't fixed. In October I paid them to close my pool and heater. During this process they damaged a part of the heater. When I went to have them open the pool this spring I found the pool damaged due to the pool not being closed properly. I have asked them to take responsibility and they refused. I didn't keep a copy of the bill to close the pool, however I have 6 adults who were here to witness them coming. I would not trust them to do anything with my pool in the future.

If the person we interacted with tonight is the owner of this location, I can confidently say…read moreSundance Spas in Amherst, NH won't be in business in a few more years. The level of un-professionalism my wife, myself, and daughter experienced tonight was shocking--so much so that I'm still in disbelief. How this individual manages to sell any hot tubs is beyond me. We visited Sundance Spas for the first time today, on January 16th at 5:30 PM. We wanted to see the Sundance Cameo in person after weeks of serious research. We're ready to purchase a luxury hot tub, and we very easily may have purchased this one tonight if the experience was 100% different. When we arrived, the store was completely empty despite the lights being on and the door open (they close at 6 PM). After walking around awkwardly for over five minutes, someone finally emerged from the back. He didn't introduce himself at all. He just gave us a "hey" and walked over. He was tall, older, with spiked gray hair and an arrogant, annoyed demeanor. I've done my research, so I knew most of the details about the Cameo already. However, I had a few specific questions about the spacing, depth, and warranty that I wanted clarified. Unfortunately, this man clearly wasn't in the mood to provide answers or even basic customer service. When my daughter sat in the tub and couldn't reach the headrest, (which he looked annoyed she was even doing so and made sure to tell her to take her shoes off), I jokingly mentioned we might need a hot tub booster seat for her. His response was a sarcastic "I guess ...." I then asked about the warranty of the steel frames and he said, "10 years." My wife followed up, asking if he knew why it was only 10 years, and he snidely replied, "What, you need more?" He then added, "How do I know? You'd have to call corporate, I don't make them". The way this came out too was so rude sounding. That surprised us...my wife and I looked at each other like "what was that" lol From there I said something along the lines of: "I'm getting some bad vibes here, so I think we're going to leave now. We came in ready to possibly buy this Cameo, just had a few questions, but apparently you're not interested in selling it. So, we started to walk out and I said "Have a good night"....He quickly replied..."Sensitive, huh?" LOL I laughed in disbelief and was about to turn around to respond but my wife stopped me. I have to say...I'm SO glad we visited this store, because it saved us from a long-term headache dealing with this dealer. We were literally prepared to spend the $18,500 cash tonight on this. But what this guy for some crazy reason doesn't understand is that for a family making an investment like this, they don't just look at the product, they look at the experience, as once you buy the tub, you will be tied to that that dealer. The relationship matters more than the hot tub, since they perform the service for next 10x or more years. Here's my FREE advice to the Owner/Management of Sundance Spas in Amherst NH. If this gentleman is a salesman...fire him...he is going to sink your business. If this gentleman is the owner...get into a non-cusomer service business, because you are not cut out for this. If you are the owner and do want some real advice, here it is: Start by developing a customer-first culture. Greet your customers with a smile. Introduce yourself. Shake their hands. Ask how you can help them and provide thoughtful answers to their questions. This is basic customer experience. When you show genuine care for your customers, your business will thrive naturally. People will be so impressed with your service that they'll leave glowing reviews without being asked. In the hot tub industry, it's not just about the product--it's about building relationships that span generations. To potential customers: do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Imagine having to deal with someone like this regarding a warranty?....lol no thanks.

That's because the couch set we wanted (which is f**king lovely, btw) was on backorder for 6 weeks. Still, it was totally worth the wait! This triple level furniture store is jam packed with just about everything one needs to decorate their house with the finest upholstery, bedding, tables, chairs, etc that money can buy. And before you ask, yes....they have elevators. The funny thing is when we walked in, initially looking for a new living room couch set, we ended up also finding arguably the best kitchen dining set we've ever seen. At least, for us. All in all, we ended up spending like 4 grand, but it was worth it. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. They didn't have us pay for everything all at once either, since each set had to be delivered on separate occasions. Basically, we just paid for the stuff as it was being delivered. Actually though, the prices seem fair enough. If you have old furniture for them to take away, they charge an additional fee for that based on the number of pieces that need to go. There is, however, one admonition about this that still irks the shit out of me.. It seems that either, a.) The management isn't telling their movers that old furniture needs to be extracted from the home prior to the delivery taking place. Or, b.) The movers are really lazy and apparently don't want to take ANYONE'S old stuff. So, they enter in with the mentality of, "No, we're not taking that"...until you point out to them that they are literally being PAID to remove the old furniture. After a bit of back-n-forth, they'll eventually (reluctantly?) do it. Just be firm, keep all your receipts, and it should go just fine. None of this is really a deal breaker for me, but it's just annoying. I mean, is it THAT foreign of a concept that customers will want their old furniture removed? Because I'm fairly certain that upgrading furniture is a pretty common thing amongst consumers. I....I just don't understand why any mover would take issue with this, so long as they are being monetarily compensated. I had two separate deliveries, as mentioned. And BOTH times, with two different moving teams, they initially went in with the belief that they were not removing any old furniture. It's just weird and I'm not quite sure if it's a breakdown in communication with their bosses, or just sheer laziness. One guy even grunted as he was moving a small piece of the couch, which....wasn't all that heavy. Despite all that nonsense, what matters most is the furniture itself and the store's selection. Both are on point. I highly recommend this place as a go-to for your furniture needs, along with the aforementioned caveats to all present and future customers.
