After many years as a customer! Purchased thousands of dollars worth of products to maintain my pool my confidentiality was breached! As the store manager provided vital information about my pool to a complete stranger! So anyone can just walk in there say anything as long as they have your name! Match it up even provide documents without consent any consent. They lost my business as a business should always hold a customer interest at heart first. If you don't know anything about pools they will sell you more or unneeded products for your pool. I would recommend Bill pool supplies. read more

I was really hoping to like this store being that we just got a pool installed. My husband and I bought a pool vacuum and were told that we could return it if we did not like it. When we returned it less than a week later the store manager said oh no not for that price, you can have store credit. Well, that's not what we were told. She then proceeded to load up the vacuum into her car so she can test it out in her own pool. Well, satisfaction is a matter of perception. We didn't like what the vacuum did especially since it cost 1,200 dollars. They issued store credit because I didn't know what to do. I called corporate and they agreed to issue a check and that they just had to figure out how to get it to me. It has been almost a month and they canceled the store credit (of course because they were issuing a check) well now I have neither. I am beyond frustrated because nobody is calling me back and I am getting the runaround. I do not appreciate it. I am simply asking for the money that was promised to me. As of right now, I have no product and no money. This is not right! read more

Bought some product and paid cash! Had to return said product was told that I was over a 14 day return policy. Had not used product so just wanted my money back. I am a first time pool owner and knew nothing about pools. After having difficulties with a pool maintenance person I decided to go to Leslie's. DJ has been amazing on helping me learn how to take care of my saltwater pool. It's a great place to go to get your water tested and they will provide step by step directions to keep your water balanced. I also have brought in my salt cell and had it tested and had my pool vacuum repaired. Every time it is fast a friendly service. read more

I am posting this as a follow up from my previous post on 7/15/2020. First, I want all those who read my post including this one, to know I speak strictly as a consumer, in hopes to enlighten other consumers. The following day after posting my experience with Leslie's Pools I received an email from Mr. T. Topf apologizing for the service I received. Mr. Topf also instructed the store to issue me a full refund. As I told Mr. Topf, if the manager had at least offered me a percentage off my next purchase, or even a store coupon (since I could not get store credit) I would have never written the first post. KUDOS to Mr. Topf for reaching out to me and making things right! Monday the 20th I went to the store with the receipt, two days later the money was back in my account. I felt it only right to post this. I hope Mr. Topf and powers that be modify some of the store policies to be a little more Consumer friendly! Again, Thank You to Mr Topf District Manager. read more

The customer service at this store has always been wonderful but lately we have really taken notice of the kindness and compassion of them, DJ in particular. My dad has always been the one who takes care of our pool and he suddenly passed away a few months ago, leaving my mom and I clueless and lost trying to figure out how to take care of and maintain our pool. As soon as we got started learning it all, we immediately noticed something was wrong with the pump and it was so stressful. We were so lost and tried to figure it out ourselves while also trying to figure out how to get our chemical levels right. We were in the store every couple of days and DJ asked what was going on with it and he offered to set up a service call, something we didn't even know Leslie's offered. The service tech was able to fix the problem: a clogged impeller. Unfortunately it got clogged again and we learned we don't have any kind of shut off valve on the water return side. DJ took his time trying to help us figure out a solution that we could do ourselves. I just want to thank Leslie's for their wonderful service and DJ himself for always just taking his time with us and never making us feel rushed or like he was in a hurry. read more

This place should not even get a single star. I was extremely disappointed with their customer service. They are more concerned with selling as many products as can and making as much money from each customer rather than what is best for their customer. I have been maintaining my pool for over three years and have had no problem keeping in clean and algae free as long as I add chlorine regularly, as well as checking chemical levels. If you go in and tell them your pool is even slightly green or not up to par they immediate try to sell you hundreds of dollars worth of chemicals. For over a year now they have been trying to sell me a chemical that removes phosphates, which is apparently what algae feeds off of. It is a $50 product.............I decided to give it a shot. For the first time since I have had my pool the water was cloudy as a result of that chemical. I was having a pool party that weekend and unfortunately the water was so unclear that you could not even see through to the second step. I contacted bills pool supply and all the people who work there are very knowledgeable based on experience and told me that I would not need a phosphate regulator unless I lived near dairy farms or livestock, which is something that Leslies Pool Supply failed to mention. When Bills Pool Supply tested the water it had zero phosphates in it. So I was encouraged by Leslies to purchase a chemical that I did not need. I purchased an oxidizer and the clarifier was given to me for free from Bills to clear up the issue. I went to return the perfect weekly phosphate regulator and the women who worked there had an attitude and argued and insisted that the chemical did not cause that to happen. She only gave me store credit and did not apologize. I will never be shopping at Leslies Pool Supply again and it would be in anybody else's best interest not to either. The people who work at Bills Pool Supply are very kind and helpful. It is obvious that the people who work are Bills Pool Supply are knowledgable based on experience rather than Leslies who has quick online training. Bills Pool Supply will definitely be having by business from here on out. read more
