I paid over the phone they said it would be ready at 3:45 I arrived and a gentleman in a mask brought it out and put it in my car. Mike estimated almost to the exact dollar what the landscaping and concrete would cost us so we were able to plan for that and not go over budget. We had a really fun time picking out all of our finishes, Mike met us at the showroom and showed us all the different tiles and coping and features. I highly recommend you do not conduct business with this gentleman. As other reviewers have previously written, he is a one man "company" who runs the business out of his Doylestown home, has no real employees, hires lowest bid subcontractors to renovate your pool, has changed his company name numerous times, and according to several other pool renovation companies I have reached out to fix this mess maintains an extremely poor reputation in the industry. We paid him an initial deposit in June 2021. Months passed with nothing happening. Out of the blue, he then proceeded to demolish our family's pool last fall with two young men showing up unannounced at our home without the required township permits. The work was rushed, sloppy, and shoddy. Our automatic pool cover track was removed and bent in the process. The mortar was not properly and completely removed so more demolition and prep work will still need to be done to prepare the pool for its next phase of renovation. Gallons of saltwater were dumped onto our grass, plants, and trees. Our pool was left filled with debris. In addition, the sloppy demolition may have damaged the plumbing which will now need to be pressure tested. Bob Whitaker had no supplies when he demolished our pool. He failed to reserve and secure our necessary materials. He gave my husband the run-around via text messages for nine months. And has left our family with our four year old son pool-less for the upcoming summer season. He refuses to answer calls or return my husband's deposit. Even though, his incomplete and sloppy demolition has provided no savings or value now that we need to hire another contractor to renovate our pool. I hope my warning can prevent someone else from making the same mistake our family made retaining Aqua Renovations' services saving unnecessary stress, unpleasantness, inconvenience, frustration, and the wasting of hard earned money.

I would not recommend using Ahner for pool services. We switched to them a couple of years ago…read more because our previous pool service company stopped doing pool closings. Since we have used Ahner, we have had issues with communications. They are difficult to contact and do not call back or respond very promptly. They also have very limited days when they will close the pool - only Friday or Saturday. Those are minor annoyances but this year when we opened our pool (we open it ourselves and had Ahner close it for us the previous September), it looked like a pond with moss like algae over every surface. We immediately sent Ahner pictures and asked for a response. When we finally got in contact with them after multiple attempts and 2 days later, they told us we should have put chemicals in the pool during the winter, that the chemicals would not have made it through to spring and besides that they said we closed it too early (which they did) and opened it too late (it is not even Memorial day yet!). They never told us we should be putting chemicals in midwinter. We have had this pool for many years and have never seen algae this bad - ever! They are not taking responsibility for the error they made nor helping us to clean it other than telling us what to do.

Not only did we get our pool in a ridiculously fast time, the workmanship was top notch, and our pool is beautiful. The owners came to our house and explained the process of how our pool would be built, and even explained to us why one of the options that we thought we had needed (based upon what we were previously told by another pool builder in the Lehigh Valley) could be done in a far greater cost effective manner. (Which by the way, thanks to Mrs. Ahner saved us a bundle). We have recommended Ahner Inground Pools to all of our friends and family and our neighbor's pool will be installed next week (by Ahner Pools of course). Great company, Great Owners, and Great crew...Fantastic Pool...Highly recommend.

Our experience: The initial plastering had to be taken out because they used the incorrect plaster,…read morerequiring them to do a complete redo. The second application has also proven to be awful. The finish is uneven, with significant bumps and "waves" across the entire surface. We brought these issues to their attention immediately upon completion. The company explained that this poor finish was caused by the previous plaster layer not being fully removed down to the gunite ( which again one of the layers was because they put the wrong plaster in), a critical detail that was never communicated to us during the planning or execution of the project. As industry professionals, the team should have advised us on the proper preparation needed to achieve a quality finish, and the lack of such communication is a severe oversight. They think feeling waves when sitting is okay. It is so ridiculous that they stand behind that work! I would have easily paid more money if they brought up to me that they need more time to prepare the surface correctly. Furthermore, we were disappointed by the company's proposed resolution: requiring us to pay an additional fee to have the entire job redone again. This is an unacceptable response, as the initial payment was for professional, high-quality work, which was not delivered. We believe the responsibility for this inadequate outcome lies with your company. DO NOT USE!!

Daisy came out to the house and estimated the renovation project which included demo of the old tile and coping, restoring the entire pool deck, replacing the custom stone coping, replacing and replicating the tile to match the spa - which was not to be touched or a part of the project - and finally; re-plastering of our pool with 'Diamond Brite' Super Blue finish. Daisy was very professional, knowledgeable, and guided us through every step of the way. They squeezed us in their very busy schedule to accommodate our needs and helped us as much as they could during these pressing times. From draining our pool and demo work, through the masterful deck rebuild, the coping and tile work, and finally the plastering finish, everyone on every crew was on time, extremely polite, professional, and left the job site clean. Weather related delays caused the project to take a little longer than expected, but with every turn, with every step, and with any concerns and questions we had about the renovation project, Sergio, Daisy and the entire office team were always available to answer our questions and help us with everything we needed to make sure all our needs were met and that the end result was nothing but spectacular. The price was very competitive, and they even threw in the spa to make sure everything was cohesive. We were very surprised and astounded at the generous gift and were furthermore shocked when they gave us new pool light bulbs, pool light gaskets, and repaired a pool light cove leak.... free of charge!!! We were looking at some hot tubs through the local wholesale as well as online. The problem was…read morenot seeing them in person and secondly having no one local for support. After shopping some of the local hot tub dealers I found Spring Dance. William was great at showing me some options and explaining all of the differences. They currently had a manufacturers promo going at the time (which was a very good deal), it was up in a few days but William didn't pressure me. He said, if I wasn't ready to check back as there are several sales a year. Later that day I brought my wife in and William took her through the same explanation of everything. I actually bought a much better hot tub than I had planned on, nothing William did to pressure this just my own desires. When it arrived the fact that we used a local company made it worth it. They delivered it several hundred feet to a pad in our back yard. They set everything up and went over the operation. As we weren't getting power until the next morning we couldn't test it yet. Once we had it filled and power we began getting the levels right on the water. We have public water inside our house and everything outside is well water. We decided to use that due to it's convenience...big mistake. Our well water has a high level of iron in it (which we didn't know until after using), once we put in the chlorine it oxidized the iron and turned the water brown. We were going nuts, we grabbed some water and raced to Spring Dance. William calmed our nerves and said: "it's probably just high iron". After testing the levels he showed us that is exactly what it is. He took us through the process of lowering the metals in the water and gave us a specific plan for chemicals and in no time the water was crystal clear. We've had the tub now for three months...and use it a lot. The water is still crystal clear simply by us following Williams prescribed regiment of water additives. We couldn't be happier. And since they are local, we can rest assured that if something were to happen...William is only a phone call or short car ride away.

I was able to get them to come out once to fix a leak when it was still under warranty but now they never reply to voicemail or service request via website. You're much better off finding a seller that has a good track record of service and support post-sale. Update: got a quick call as soon as I posted this review, ha, but it was still back and forth with leaving messages to get someone to come out. Service tech finally came out over a week ago, could not identify the leak source and I have not heard anything from them on what the fix will be. Still on me to chase them down.
