It failed and filled pool continuously for 2 weeks. The city, Port Orange FL, uses smart water meters. I have a printout from the water department showing the water was turned on the same hour they hooked it up and turned off the same hour of their next routine service. The pool overflowed into yard and killed the grass in one corner. It also turned green for obvious reasons. Pinch a penny failure cost us $1300 in water use. It couldn't be more obvious they failed. The kid that cleans the pool aggred. The service tech agreed. The manager agreed. But the owner said he "couldn't be certain". J**k should stand behind his products.

He tested the water after Pinch a Penny left and stated the water quality was off but to give a few hours to circulate and it might get better. My wife took a sample to our servicing store that afternoon and had it tested without them having any knowledge of the prior results that morning. The tech said there was no chlorine in the water and the PH was through the roof. He gave her a print out and proceeded to tell her how to fix it. She explained that his company services our pool and would like to speak to a manager. Ron the service manager told her this was a free week becaus there was 5 weeks this month and he wasn't going to do anything about it until the following Friday. We are on a monthly service based on a 52 week calendar year so not sure of that mentality. I own and operate a large service plumbing company. If I found out ANY of my employees treated one of my customers this way the service tech would be fired for not doing his job, the service manager would be fired for not making it right, and the store manager for allowing this behavior to exist. I called and spoke with Ron in attempts to rectify the problem after my wife got home and told me what happened at the store, he stated the free week thing and was not coming back until the following Friday and if I didn't like it "We could just part company" I know this business is independently owned I welcome the owner to make this right just knowing we will never do business with company again. In our small little town of Ponce news travels fast, bad news faster.

We noticed calcium deposits forming and brought it to their attention...Blue Ribbon Pools was unresponsive. Labor Day 2021 we were unable to use our pool as it was green...the company was again unresponsive. Drove to their Port Orange to speak to or rather shame Maurice regarding the ongoing issues and lack if response. He called my husband (A fellow FL State Contractor) to rectify and as I requested. The pool was so bad the water had to be drained and refilled. They didn't take or provide a water reading so you can imagine our water bill. Labor Day 2022...GREEN POOL AGAIN!!! Sent a text message with photos to an employee and Maurice...again the company was unresponsive. Called the office today only to receive the pre-recorded message they are Out Of Business. Not even the courtesy of a letter or recommendation of another pool service. Poor business etiquette and performance. Their trademark is "We make vacation water" they should add the word occasionally.
