He wasn't kidding when he said we had to start permitting process in summer 2025 to open in time for Memorial Day weekend 2026 either - getting construction permit processed was the biggest wait. Now we opened just in time for summer - and she's a beauty! Pool Boss team coordinated the whole project from start to finish - the designer Michael helped us get the plans and measurements exactly right, even taking into consideration our future addition plans for the property. Tina filed and coordinated a million permit forms for us. Matt & Dan were very patient helping us figure out the on-sight restrictions. The construction itself was very quick and fun to watch (the digging was done with surgical precision!). Special thank you to Joanna for very clear communication throughout! The scheduling and ongoing notifications to keep us apprised of the progress were very helpful! We went with PB's recommended contractors - JBJ for electric (super professional - and again, helped us run everything with future construction projects in mind), and United Stamped Concrete for landscaping (Felipe's team did a phenomenal job with out stamped concrete patio and grading, great attention to detail). The orientation with Eduardo was super clear - we've never operated a pool and he patiently explained every single detail about the equipment and maintenance. The equipment can be controlled from an app too - very convenient and we are looking forward to Tyler making it even smarter. :) Thank you so much! I had tried locally (Morris County) to purchase parts for my hot tub and this company is the only one that was helpful. [Pelican staff actually asked me to look for the parts myself in the back of the stock room (while they were eating lunch), but that's for a separate review.] After explaining issues with my heating element and the parts I was looking for, Jill kept me on the phone while she checked stock. In addition, she was calling her service tech on the road to confirm if a particular part was available in his truck. Long story short, there were a few options but keeping the weather in mind for my outside hot tub, Jill was able to help on the quickest and most cost effective way. She really schooled me with her knowledge of the hot tub as well. They are a bit out of the way but I will be utilizing them for all my hot tub needs! Thank you for a great experience thus far. I liked that there was no pressure to quickly buy. This store had many beautiful hot tubs on display, and I wanted to get one ASAP, but there were things to do before hand: like measuring my space, hiring an electrician and talking to a "crane guy" about placing the hot tub. Altogether, we have a positive experience.
