Unfortunately though surely no fault of the carts, there's a dearth of seating immediately near the cart, the closest nearest option being some outdoor seating at the McDonalds which is often occupied and/or policed by McDonalds staff warning off outside food interlopers. As for the food, I've tried the lamb, chicken, and squid skewers. The lamb and chicken were both succulent, perfectly cooked, and really well-balanced in flavor. The squid was tasty too, though the seasoning comes through more strongly since squid itself is milder. For the amount of protein you get, the prices are very reasonable, even cheap. I got the egg and tomato handmade noodle dish that comes as a dry noodle. Scrambled eggs and tomatoes are a classic flavor, but I've never had it with noodles before. The dish was topped with some sesame sauce and fresh cucumber. Overall, it was pretty good, although I was expecting more of a sauce of tomatoes and egg poured over the noodles. Instead, it was just tomatoes and egg sauteed with noodles, with the only liquid being what came out of the tomatoes during cooking. I guess that's why they add on the sesame sauce. The noodles were really well-made. They were nicely al dente and pretty uniform in size even though they're pulled by hand. The tomato flavor wasn't strong enough, but the acidity of the tomato was there and was nicely balanced by the nutty taste of the sesame sauce. The cucumbers provided a refreshing crunch. The dish was missing a bit of spice. I also got a side of chili oil sliced pig ears. They normally sell a dish for $7, but I didn't want a full side of it and asked if they could just give me a smaller portion for cheaper. So the guy at the register asked for $3 and gave me a really generous portion of pig ears. I wasn't expecting it to be a chili oil made with Sichuan peppercorns, but it was and I loved the tingly spiciness it gave the dish. I actually spooned a little bit of the hot chili oil into the noodles to give them a bit more flavor. And since the noodles had no meat in them, I added a slice of pig ear every few bites. On this visit, we tried the egg-shaped waffles stuffed with Nutella and custard, the Burmese pancakes stuffed with meat, the Venezuelan corn pancake stuffed with beef and mozzarella, and some Hainanese chicken with rice. Most of these items were delicious and the standout were the Burmese stuffed pancakes. The portions, although small, are still good enough for sharing. If you need more reasons to visit, they are also showing World Cup games here when we visited. You can have your watch party with great food options! The dish is flavorful, but the cuts of meat used run a bit tough. - Beef Meat Pie from Soronko Kitchen and Bakery: $6. OK. Could use more flavor than the included Cholula hot sauce packet provided. - Beef Gyro from Enfes NYC: $6. Good, balanced. On the other hand, we didn't like their grape leaves ($5), which we thought were too tart. The logistics of the Night Market have changed slightly since my initial review in 2019. It is still better to take mass transit, as there is no longer free parking in the adjacent parking lot operated by New York Hall of Science. It is difficult but possible to find metered and unmetered street parking in the neighborhood.

The ladies at the counter are always super sweet, and always put in extra dumplings during closing time. One time they even gave me some sausage for free. You order at the window and take it to-go. The sausages are on a stick so it's a portable snack. For the buns, definitely take their sauce, it goes really well with the buns. I always get everything spicy which they have a blend of spices that they sprinkle on whatever you want.
