In a food desert, this place is an oasis. An unassuming facade opens to a delightful space that is filled with healthful and nourishing food. You can have things, like salads, made to order, or choose from premade selections. We were greeted warmly and told where the menus and QR codes were and made our selections. While waiting, the owner came in and told us she now has a location at Citi park, is currently at the US Open and had some other big event she was taking food to. She was genuinely excited that customers were in the store and was friendly, interactive and grateful. First of all made a conscience decision to spend with a Black Owned business. Went to enter establishment and the girl put her foot in the doorway halting my entry which almost caused door to hit me. She said curbside only. Ok......no signs posted door not locked. She takes my 10 dollars through the crack. Acrid smell coming from inside the place. I wait more than 15 minutes for my juice. Outside in that area is not the safest place to be hanging out waiting I finally get my juice only to have ice cubes present. Really??? Maybe if I was allowed in the place i could have stated no ice cubes. My advice. Do better. Door should be locked if no customers allowed. Signs should be posted as well. Train your employees on customer etiquette. I hate spending with non Black Owned businesses but sometimes you have to do whats best for you. read more

What a terrible place. Apparently if you're not black, you are not welcome. I was in the area and I wanted to buy a smoothie- I was stopped at the door by the manager and was told that I can't ask her how long is going to take for my order to be ready. She flipped out on me and started with the race card. I told her that I would leave her a nice 1 star review, since she treated me like a zombie since I am white. Man, I can't recommend this spot enough! Needed a recovery meal after a long night yesterday and this place really did what it claims to do: Nourishes! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The nice and bright interior add to the welcoming vibes. And on top of all of that, the food is fantastic. I ordered a Mango protein smoothie that was to die for. Who would've thought that mango nectar would add a whole new kick to protein smoothies? And I don't exactly remembered what I ordered in my tuna wrap (plethora of options/add-ons) but they had 3 house made dressings and the one I chose literally made me salivate upon first bite. Ive purchased from this place twice .once for a fruit juice WHICH WAS DELICIOUS and the second time thrrough door dash and the salad is super filling and a great size. Me and a friend ate off of one loaded salad. My only issue was the orange artificial chicken. It had a funny texture and look to it. I honestly think it was tofu. Why not use regular chicken cutlet or have real meat as a second option? I tried here based on the good reviews. I ordered a vegetable wrap. I had to remove all of the cucumber and feta cheese because it tasted off. Some of the mixed greens tasted off but the avocado was pretty good. Overall most of the vegetables tasted as if they had been sitting in open containers in the fridge for days, they did not taste fresh at all. The avocado was the one exception so I was able to eat that with the wrap. I didn't like the dressing either. I won't be ordering from here again :( read more
