Having struck out on my last few Cubans, I was confident Tony's description of roast pork, ham, Swiss, pickle & mustard would deliver. After taking my order, one of the many guys behind the counter dipped into the back for 15 minutes, which seemed like an exceptionally long time for a sandwich. I took my sandwich to eat at home. The sandwich was pressed and toasted as a Cuban should be, and it was filled with about half a pound of ham, no roast pork. In addition, there was so much mustard on the sandwich that it upset my stomach. Had I wanted a ham and cheese panini, I would have ordered one. If the person who took my order told me they were out of pork, I would have happily changed my order.

American's Flag's sandwiches were less expensive and much more satisfying and filling. They weren't dry and all the ingredients came together in the perfect combination. They didn't lack flavor. I can't say the same for the other sandwiches from the bar/sandwich place. If you're in Flushing N.Y. , look up American Flag Deli. I used to come here a lot when I was a kid, and back then the food honestly wasn't as good as I remembered. Now Big difference. The french fries are immaculate seriously, a single order will get you through an entire lunch break. The bacon is delicious and, thankfully, no longer burnt. I don't know what was going on before, but they've definitely figured it out. And they're no longer using that block of government cheese situation on the bacon, egg, and cheese everything tastes fresher. The place itself is cleaner, the drinks aren't expired, and the guys behind the counter are friendly and competent. Overall, it's a really good experience now.

The workers are only here to make what was requested. Then her friend calls and says shes allergic to mustard after they made the entire sandwich. Then her friends comes storming in the store, saying she is going to call the cops and ICE agents. Incredibly rude. She claimed she knew the owner and said that her mother comes every day and when the owner came she had no clue. So here is a picture of the rude customers. The food here is great, the owner came and resolved the situation. Please do not give small businesses like this a hard time. We need more of these around the neighborhood.

But I will give yall a update review on the food.I also use to take the F train local that's literally right out side of the deli. The subway is attached to the deli ,cool for any one coming home from work or going to work via the F train . you can get some breakfast ,lunch or dinner right in side this deli.Thats one of the reasons this deli separates its self from other dell's besides the food.
