As a business that relies on vendors to be dependable for our customers, being left scrambling at the last minute was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I also called to get photos of their products to sell to our clients, only to be told to take pictures of the product when it arrives. We always try to support local businesses, but reliability and communication are essential. Based on our experience, I can't recommend Ripe Catering for events where you need a vendor you can count on.

Roasting a whole pig is a long process. They were at our home from 9:30am till 8pm. We had wanted to eat around 6 and they had things ready to go right on time. The sides we chose were macaroni and cheese, Caesar salad, and potato salad. They threw in some cornbread too. Everything was great, but the mac and cheese was extra great. I'm super picky about mac and cheese but it was quite well done and reheated beautifully the next day. In addition to the hog, they also cooked up some chicken parts which were the BOMB.
