They are always transparent with the work they recommend and perform and they do what they can to save me money, while balancing long term needs and health of my bikes. For example, I took my mountain bike in to get a new fork bc I jacked it up in a crash. They could have sold me a new fork, but instead they did a little research and suggested I get the fork serviced instead. It saved me about $500. I would have been none-the-wiser. I've been to other bike shops where the staff are "dudes" that only want to talk to hardcore cyclists. This is NOT the case at Gung Ho - they truly live their mission of "More Butts on Bikes More Often". Regardless of you ability level or experience, Gung Ho wants you to enjoy biking and will meet you wherever you are at. The staff is caring, patient, and fields all questions with compassion.

Along the trail in Marietta is a signpost for businesses in town including Lancaster Recumbent. My wife has always talked about recumbents so we visited the shop. We took a test ride and ended up getting a Catrike Villager for her and a Trial for me. Sarah was very helpful in every aspect of the purchase. Scott showed us how to load the trikes on the Alpaca rack we purchased. It was a great experience that you don't get much these days. Just a great family business. We got to test the trikes and the rack on a trip to our cabin in Potter county. We are near the Pine Creek Rail Trail and broke in our trikes there. What fun! And no pain! My wife has a knee replacement and the other one needs done too but riding the Catrikes is pure bliss.

I know they were short staff and it was busy , my plan was to drop it off and pick it up whenever he said it was done (I was cool with a few days no biggie). Pretty much told me it wasn't worth fixing it's a cheap bike and I should use it for parts. I'm well aware the bike was cheap. Didn't give me a price so I could make a decision myself and it honestly felt as if he just didn't want to be bothered and had better stuff to do. No problem I was in the market for a bike for myself and my wife in the near future. Had no problem spending several hundred dollars. Will never come back to this place buy anything from here or have anything serviced. This is my second and last unpleasant experience here.

They have a little different selection in bikes than many shops in the area, as they carry Bianchi and Jamis bicycles.
