I went to lunch, while at lunch I looked online at one of the manufacturers and that they had a sale going on online for a significant discount for the exact bike I was looking at. I went back to the shop to see if they would honor the discount, they said no problem. I then took the bike for a test ride and it was exactly what I wanted and being able to get the online discount in store was icing on the cake! They even made sure I knew how to fold it up. Very happy with this shop and my new Superhuman Shapeshifter folding e-bike that I purchased and I will definitely be back to get maintenance and service done when it's needed. Now on to some trail rides!

The quality and service of Gung Ho makes me love biking even more than I already do (which is hard…read moreto imagine). The mechanics communicate clearly with every step of the service process.... They are always transparent with the work they recommend and perform and they do what they can to save me money, while balancing long term needs and health of my bikes. For example, I took my mountain bike in to get a new fork bc I jacked it up in a crash. They could have sold me a new fork, but instead they did a little research and suggested I get the fork serviced instead. It saved me about $500. I would have been none-the-wiser. I've been to other bike shops where the staff are "dudes" that only want to talk to hardcore cyclists. This is NOT the case at Gung Ho - they truly live their mission of "More Butts on Bikes More Often". Regardless of you ability level or experience, Gung Ho wants you to enjoy biking and will meet you wherever you are at. The staff is caring, patient, and fields all questions with compassion.

Went in to get a lower end bike fixed. I get it it's a bike shop and they sell and fix more…read moreexpensive bikes but I was trying to get this bike through the last few weeks of summer for my child. I explained the issue. I know they were short staff and it was busy , my plan was to drop it off and pick it up whenever he said it was done (I was cool with a few days no biggie). Pretty much told me it wasn't worth fixing it's a cheap bike and I should use it for parts. I'm well aware the bike was cheap. Didn't give me a price so I could make a decision myself and it honestly felt as if he just didn't want to be bothered and had better stuff to do. No problem I was in the market for a bike for myself and my wife in the near future. Had no problem spending several hundred dollars. Will never come back to this place buy anything from here or have anything serviced. This is my second and last unpleasant experience here.

Mike discovered that my handlebars had been out of position since the bike was originally assembled--something I hadn't even realized. He took the time to call me, explain what he found, and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. I really appreciated that level of communication and customer care. When I picked up the bike, the derailleurs looked brand new, and the brakes and shifters were working better than ever. I jokingly asked for the "luxury treatment," but honestly, that's exactly what I received. The real proof came when I took the bike out for a ride immediately afterward. its a nice shop with a nice a store owner. but recently my friend had a problem with her he brought…read morein two wheels to be completely dismantled. but when he got them they still had the spine on the rear hub. she then told him to "go to another shop to get it off" it coasted 15$ for each wheel so i was not that mad. i took it to another shop and they said they could not take it off because they needed the wheel for leverage they tried clamping it down but it is made out of aluminum so its soft and it might break so now he has to spend 15$ AGAIN to get it laced then 15 more for them to properly dismantle it. other than that me myself don't have any problems with the store other than a attitude once in awhile.
