We were looking for an early dinner as we were driving through Cedar Park. Yelp directed us to this surprisingly good casual dining restaurant featuring foods from the Levant Region. I had a beef and lamb shawarma bowl with fattoush as the base and all sorts of yumminess on top. Hubby had shawarma plate with hummus and fattoush. The food is plated right in front of you and the presentation is extremely nice for this type of restaurant. Ugh. I want to eat here everyday of my life. I literally just ate here yesterday and am dying to go today for lunch again. The food here is just exceptional, and the service is great, too. My favorite is the chicken shawarma with the potatoes and tabouleh. I love getting a side of the Alsahm Kibbeh. I don't know how something can have so much flavor, but they are insanely delicious on the inside and crispy on the outside. Ask to have your pita warmed up, or better yet - try one of the flavored pitas heated up. The red pepper + tomato flavored bread is yummy! Levant is wonderful. The flavors are bright and clear. The selection is extensive, easily accommodating our mix of vegetarians, meat eaters, and carb-limiters. The staff was enthusiastic and eager to make suggestions, and the place is immaculately clean. No restaurant is perfect, but the only areas for improvement were trivial. Pretty tasty! GF and I were looking for something different and tried this out. The salads were fresh and crisp which was great! Just got back from our first trip there. Really good, almost perfect. The fresh sides and salads, plus base options (I got Levant Rice - tasty), compliment the meat selection very well. My only small complaint is the dryness of the shwarma (Levant Shwarma = Lamb plus Beef). I know the vertical rotisserie is subject to timing - if it has been a while since anyone ordered a particular meat, the outside layer that has been rotating past the warming lamps will tend to dry out. The taste was good but would have been great if it had been juicy. The GF got salads with shwarma and loved it (but agreed with the dry meat). No matter, we'll definitely be back. read more

My girlfriend and I tried this place on a whim, being that we live so close. I'm not usually a fan of Mediterranean cuisine because I can't ever understand what's on going on in the dishes, but I was excited to at least get some Pita bread! The guy at the counter (I'm assuming was the owner) was more than helpful and had the most patience I've ever seen a big guy have, explaining all the dishes, and walking me through things he thought that I would like. My girlfriend and I ended up splitting the Chicken Sharawarma (sp?) and it was the best thing I've ever eaten. Their pita bread is also fresh and phenomenal. We were very much looking forward to this restaurant with the reviews. Some of the things were good - some were truly Not Good. We tried but won't return. I will admit to having a stomach that will not tolerate too much spice but chose what I felt would be safe. But overall just a disappointment. We went for the first time last night and wow!! I'm sad we haven't tried it sooner. We all wound up getting the same thing- the Levant Shawarma hummus plate. My husband ordered a side of falafel. The owner (assuming it was the owner by his pride in the business) asked if I wanted a side of falafel also - told him I didn't care for it. He insisted I try theirs. He has converted me, it was fantastic. My son tried my husbands and we both loved it. The meat is tender and delicious and the side salad and oils and sauces they added were a perfect combo. The hummus is so good and their portions are very generous. If you are on the fence about giving it a try, don't hesitate. You have to try it!!! read more

We have stopped in twice now on trips between Lake LBJ and Houston. Each time we have lamented that this place is not near our home because we would go ALL THE TIME. Food is very fresh and flavorful. Portions are actually fairly large but stuffed full of fresh vegetables (depending upon what you select). Both times I ordered the bowl (you chose a base like rice or fattoush, add a protein and then choose from their toppings) and DH ordered a pita sandwich- which is so full of fresh toppings that it is really messy to eat, which is a good thing. read more
