    Birthday celebration
    Jonelle W.

The service here was top tier. The design is like a seashell and the it's beautiful inside. The food was delicious and authentic, made in house. I got a birthday card set at my table and even though we skipped dessert, we were given a small cookie to end the night.

incredible food, worth the price for the views and amazing service. check with the hotel first regarding parking because their valet gets full and the parking garage is a nightmare. overall the food, drinks and ambience were a 10/10.

An exquisite menu offering a unique dining experience curated by acclaimed, Michelin Star and James Beard Award recipient, Chef Michael White. Inspired by the Mediterranean, the menu is packed with creativity and flavor - Chef's story and vision speaks for itself. *The food - so much flavor, attention to detail and creativity in every plate. Every item is made to order, every dish comes out like a piece of artwork. *The service - absolutely phenomenal and everything you'd expect it to be. Friendly, knowledgeable and so top notch professional. This restaurant has been on our bucket list since we started planning this trip and it lives up to the hype. It's worth every penny... (lots of pennies) but food this phenomenal doesn't get a price tag when it's a bucket list - so bring your wallet because dinner for two will be over $400 when you're foodies like us. We were truly in awe of the dinner, the service and the atmosphere. It was the PERFECT date night.

If you are visiting Puerto Rico, Levant is a must! Great upscale and fine dining restaurant. Dining by the beach couldn't get any better. Food is very good! Service 10/10.

We went to Levant to celebrate my father-in-law's 80th birthday. The food and service were impeccable. There was a birthday card waiting for my father-in-law upon our entry. We asked for the Chef to sign the card and they were more than willing to ask Chef White to sign the card and then even said they would see if he could come by later to wish our father-in-law a happy birthday in person! Guess what? The chef did come by and wished our FIL a happy birthday. Truly nice, friendly, personable staff. We had the mezze for the table and oysters for appetizers. We had the rack of ramb, the swordfish, the harissa chicken. We had the levant budino. Drinks were smooth and delicious, as well. They do give you a small bite for appetizer and a bite size dessert on the house! The ambiance of the entire restaurant felt like you were in a beautiful clam shell overlooking the ocean. A must try!

My son in shorts while my daughter in a dress. What year is it?

This place refuses children in shorts when it's 99 degrees out. We flew across the country to go here while on vacation and they refused us. There's a manager name Oscar who is pretentious AF. Don't go here, they don't care about people. Easily would have dropped $1000 but they didn't care. What if I put my kid in a dress? Sexist rude and disappointing. Don't go I promise you

Located inside the La concha hotel this was a culinary experience for sure. Very attentive and friendly staff, the food leans towards Mediterranean flavors. Fritto misto with shrimp, calamari and zucchini with lemon aioli was fried perfectly. Branzino for two was delicious with some of the best Brussel sprouts I've ever eaten and white corn polenta was on point. Trio of gelato's for dessert ended the perfect evening. And you eat all this in a beautiful setting under a conch shell!!

I'm torn about my experience at Levant. It's a beautiful restaurant with great attention to detail. It was the perfect aesthetic for my 30th birthday dinner. However, it lacked in several areas. Service was extremely slow and seemed to be that way for everyone. It also took over an hour to receive our entrees and there was no apology. People around us also were at their tables for hours. Also it seems like they only enforce dress code for certain people, which is unfair. If you're good to have a strict dress code it should be the same for everyone. For the most part the food was really good. We started with the mezzo for the table and chose hummus, tzatziki, and tirokafteri. The tirokafteri was delicious! The whole table enjoyed it. However, the pita it came with was a little tough. We also ordered the fritto misto, which was perfectly cooked. The shrimp and calamari were tender. For my entree I ordered the lobster risotto, which was okay. I would have appreciated some Parmesan or something to elevate it. Although I enjoyed most of the food, I would not return to Levant.

Top Tier experience. If you visit Puerto Rico make sure to add this to your list at least once. We had an amazing time celebrating my nephew's baptism. Angel stood out among the servers. The ambience was intimate and the views are nice. The food was extraordinary. Thank you

    Polenta - amazing
    Wendy B.

We went here tonight for the second night in a row. My husband just turned 50 and I put that in the notes to put the reservation. This restaurant is inside the La Concha hotel. You must make reservations and they have a pretty strict dress code so just make sure you please look that up before you go. If you're at the hotel and you didn't make reservations, no need to worry because they do have a bar in there that you do not need reservations for and you could order food from the bar area. We went here last night and we got the Bronzino for two and I came with two sides. We picked carrots and polenta probably the best carrots I've ever had in my entire life, and the polenta was delicious as well. I never had a whole Bronzino, so it was a bit nervous and excited at the same time, but there has served with no bones and no head. It was seasoned perfectly and delicious. Yesterday when we were replacing our dinner order, we were informed that we needed to order our desserts at the same time that we ordered our dinner because each is prepared separately by the chef and they needed time to do it. We opted for no dessert, but when they brought our check, they brought two little small cookie type items, two small, gummy's and a little disc of chocolate complementary Today we went and we got perfect seats and all three of the tables that were up against this window had a happy birthday index card type of a sign on the table. Tonight we ordered the cod, my husband ordered the swordfish and then we opted to get the fusilini with octopus pasta. The cod was good. It was over a bean type of a paste and it was a little boring the prosciutto they put on top along with the Swiss shard gave it a little bit more flavor. My husband's swordfish came with clams and mussels and potatoes that were small and perfectly round. The muscles in the clams were small as well, but his dish was delicious. The fusilini pasta with bone marrow and octopus was by far the star of the show. It was amazing with flavors and delicious. When you order one of the meals that are for two people which is a Bronzino and a steak those come with two sides however, if you order anything else off the menu, it does not include any sides and there should be an additional cost Because we each have a dish plus we shared the pasta. We had no room for any dessert after and no room for after dinner drinks as well. I'm not sure why we were not giving any complementary desserts like we were last night, especially since they knew it was my husband's birthday There appears to be a consistency issue. Tonight we were not asked to order dessert at the same time we ordered our meal like we were yesterday, but also yesterday we were given a complementary, very small, but it was still just a little something sweet for your palette that we did not get tonight Also, as we were leaving tonight, we saw a mother and a daughter who we've spoken with and hung out with a few times at the resort and she had told them to please bring us a drink and the waitress confuse us with another couple and we never did get that

Incredible views and definitely one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to. Their service is really good, but their menu prices are insane. However, I'm a proponent of paying more for the vibes and the experience, so it's not a factor in my review. I thought food and drinks were really solid, and service was great despite how large my group was. Such great vibes, and I had the best birthday dinner!

I would only recommend going for drinks and something small to eat. The environment is beautiful and I would recommend going during the day or sunset so that you can enjoy the views. The staff was very attentive and accommodating.

My brother and I tried dishes from both menus, and found it to be quite good. As we were walking past, a small sign for 'Grandma's Kitchen' caught our eye. My brother had been encouraging me to try Puerto Rico's national dish: Mofongo - mashed fried plantains. Unfortunately, restaurants were just packed with long waits and I wasn't in the mood to wait outside in the sun for a long time. The door next to the sign stated that it was a restaurant called 'Istanbul'. We peaked inside, and was welcomed warmly by a host, who let us know that the restaurant was both Grandma's Kitchen/Istanbul. There was nobody else dining inside, which was weird considering how every other restaurant in the area was packed. The dishes are made to order, so took a bit of time for it to come out one at a time. Mixed Seafood Stuffed Mofongo ($25) - served in a wooden pilon, the tall and narrow neck was stuffed with the mashed plantains, topped with a seafood blend of clams, dense fish pieces, octopus, and squid. The sauce was really well done, not too rich, but buttery enough to accentuate the seafood. I have to believe the seafood was prepared from frozen, but it tasted really good: a definite notch up from the seafood I've been having on the cruise boats. It was the first time having mofongo, and I liked it. This version had fried plantain chips, mixed with the mash of more plantains. I don't think this version had pork skin rinds, and I didn't miss it. It's extremely dense, so ended up eating maybe a third of it while finishing the seafood. It's a solid alternative to rice, though definitely can't eat too much of it. Doner Kebab ($18) - from the Istanbul portion of the menu, this dish was tasty, though the meat was cooked on a flat top grill like a burger patty, instead of on a vertical rotisserie. The lamb/beef patty was loosely formed and well seasoned, with the accompanying tzatziki sauce being a good add-on. Both dishes were cooked very well, the back kitchen has some skills. Service was friendly throughout. Water is not offered, but guessing they will give to you if asked. Payment was provided after the meal, and they do stick on a mandatory 15% gratuity for all party sizes.

Vianca made me a fan for life…read more We arrived really late after our flight and were scrambling to find somewhere to eat. St. Germain Bistro Bar happened to be right across from our Airbnb, and honestly it felt like we got lucky. Even though it was late, they seated us right away and helped us pull together two small tables so our family could sit comfortably. My kids were starving, so that alone was a huge relief. The portions for the kids' pasta and chicken nuggets were a little smaller than expected, but the flavor and quality were excellent. You could tell the food was made with care. I ordered the onion soup and the fried cheese with guava dip and wow. Absolutely delicious. The guava dip especially was incredible. I also had a mojito that was perfectly made. But what really made the night unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. My son had forgotten his inhaler and was having a hard time adjusting to the humidity. He was coughing a lot and clearly uncomfortable. Vianca noticed right away and went out of her way to help. She brought over honey and encouraged him to take a little shot with ginger and honey, then brought hot tea as well. She even suggested things like putting socks on him and using Vicks when we got back. When I mentioned that my kids are half Puerto Rican and their abuela already swears by those remedies, she just lit up and said, "Well you're home then, you already know what to do." That moment really stuck with me. The warmth, the care for kids, the genuine hospitality. It's exactly the kind of Puerto Rican kindness people talk about. The kitchen is small, so service can be a little slower, but it's absolutely worth the wait. The food is great, the drinks are great, and the people make the place special. If you're nearby, definitely stop in. Places like this are why people fall in love with Puerto Rico.

At the end of the night, they gave us a free piece of cake on the house, which is the only reason why this review isn't one star. Also, our waitress was really nice and friendly, which raised the mood of the evening considerably. Other than that, though, I'm afraid I can't recommend this restaurant.
