Recently had lunch for a group of 20 for a celebration and the service was top notch and was frequently check-on which we appreciated. The food was abundant and delicious and would recommend this restaurant for your celebration gatherings.

We stopped by to grab some dinner. Classical music playing in the background. Interior looks nice, ornate cut wood decor everywhere. You know it's a good sign when you see a pita oven. The waitstaff is both the host and the waiter. Ordered 1 small crushed lentil soup, Famous Three: spicy hummus, Baba Ghanouj, tabouleh, large fattoush, 2 skewers of chicken kafta, chicken gallayah over hummus with side of veggies and crushed lentil soup. $63.80 The crushed lentil is quite runny, chunky too. It tastes good, even better with fresh squeezed lemon juice. The tabouleh, baba and hummus are all okay. Hummus is smooth, not spicy or flavorful. The baba is a bit salty. The fattoush is good, dressing is yummy. Salad core was left in the salad and some chunks of onions too. The chicken kafta was quite dry, which was odd because my piece had a small part that was still pink and raw. The staff took my kafta piece back and made me a new single skewer. Takes a while for the meat dishes. We were not sure if they forgot about the skewer meat. It came out on a small plate with some more turshi and grilled veggies. Cooked this time, more flavorful, still dry though. The chicken gallayah was quite tasty. The owner is soft spoken, cordial. We didn't see much of our waiter.

Got takeout. This restaurant is decorated pretty nicely on the inside when I went to pick it up. I got the salmon platter with rice, vegetables, and the soup that came with it. I also got bread and garlic sauce complimentary. Everything was really yummy. The only thing I can say is the veggies could have been seasoned and cooked a little bit better. They were not that impressive in taste.

I've finally discovered the best Mediterranean in the Novi area! Service was insanely quick, all of our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. The waiter was very nice, but I do wish he would have refilled our drinks at least once during our meal. Food tasted excellent. Compared to many other Mediterranean places in the metro area, I do think they skimped out on the portion of shawarma though. The restaurant itself is lovely and has a walk up counter for coffee which I'll have to try next time.

Returned for one more dinner before leaving. I had the Shish Shrimp and hubs had a lamb dish that I can't pronounce or spell. I really enjoyed my dish but I think next time I will get the shrimp mushroom and garlic because I like a sauce on my dishes. Hubs enjoyed his very much. Can't wait to return in our next trip out. Thanks again Musa for the friendly and efficient service!

This was our first time here, drawn in by the excellent Yelp reviews. Overall, a very solid experience and we will probably be back. Here is how things shook out: Doing great: - Atmosphere - very clean restaurant and lovely wood depiction of the world on the back wall. I wish I had gotten a picture of it now in hindsight. - Friendly staff but not overbearing -The warm bread and garlic was great as we pondered the menu. We also received hummus, but I am not a huge fan of hummus so I left that to my hubby to eat...that was fine with me as garlic is my favorite. -Shish Shrimp: If I could only eat this for the rest of my life, I would be happy. Excellent grill on the shrimp and incredibly flavorful! -Baklava was one of the best we have ever had! Very crispy! We liked it but was not our favorite: -Rice was almost sticky. I personally just prefer a more dry rice. -Shish Kafta was not what my hubby was looking for...it was another dish and he got the name wrong. Not their fault but he did not like this as much as what he had hopped. A lot of flavor and massive portion.

Ambience was great. They provide fresh baked bread with garlic sauce Ordered Mediterranean wings, loaded shawarma fries and chicken ghallayah. I chosee lentil soup and lamb chili as choice for side. Service was good. The food came fast. I loved the bread, Mediterranean wings. I felt soup was little thick. Lentil soup was good but lamb chili I felt has more tomato flavor. Chicken ghallayah was very bland with vegetables as raw.

Well, because our congregation had a small list of approved caterers, and my daughter wanted one thing for the big celebration: a chocolate fountain. As luck would have it, The Moveable Feast has a chocolate fountain front and center on its website, so they were the obvious choice. The only other thing the Bat Mitzvah Girl wanted was bagels and cream cheese, which is her favorite food and pretty much impossible to mess up. Especially when the caterer agrees to source the bagels from Zingerman's Bakehouse. But one needs more for a luncheon than just bagels, cream cheese, and a chocolate fountain. That is where Misty Rose entered the picture. She got what we were going for and helped to round out the rest of the menu. I was told we had to get the whitefish as it was a signature dish of the company, and that was a great call. The pastrami spiced smoked salmon was tasty too. Having grilled vegetables was a fantastic idea as well. If I were to have TMF cater another event I might skip the red pepper hummus, the beet and quinoa salad, and the frittata. I make all of these things at home on the regular, and not to brag, but mine are better. However, those each served a role in the buffet, which on the whole was well received. Where The Moveable Feast shined brightest was its staff. They were extraordinary! Misty for both her flexibility and her patience in dealing with a father who was planning an event at the earliest stages of Omicron. Misty also directed me to A1 Rentals and helped to come up with several floor plans to make a 20' x 40' tent feel like a celebratory space. Plus the event staff were simply heroic, setting up the tent while I was at the ceremony and having everything ready by the time our guests arrived. Everyone who braved traveling to Michigan in December amidst a growing pandemic had a great time. The bartender roaming around pushing mimosas certainly helped. As did the tent heaters, which TMF helped to get back online when one wasn't working. They called up the rental company and made sure A1 brought over a new one. Plus the TMF crew even helped to spread out some straw when the lawn got sloppy thanks to the unexpected ice storm. If you've read down this far, you might be asking yourself, "So why only four stars?" Well, if you recall, the critical components of this event were a chocolate fountain, bagels, and cream cheese. The chocolate fountain was everything the guest of honor had hoped for... and maybe more. But somehow, the caterer forgot to bring the cream cheese. And a bagel without cream cheese is like a hug without the squeeze. I know that's not actually how the line goes. Still... it's close. My personal belief is that a business is best defined by what happens when something goes wrong. In this case, their first offer was to simply not charge me for the food they didn't bring. That was not terribly satisfying. Ultimately, the resolution was a sum that was roughly equivalent to the mimosas which helped make our adult guests happy despite the omission. I appreciated the gesture, but would have preferred an outcome that did not feel as transactional. You know, like a tray of sweets, or an "I'm sorry" cake. I know I'm weird about this, but money feels kinda dirty. Although at some point it's best to just take the offer and move on. Which is exactly what I did. Would I work with The Moveable Feast again? Absolutely! Would I recommend them to anyone who asks? You bet. Would they work with me again? I certainly hope so. We had a tremendous amount of leftovers, which included a few pounds of smoked salmon and multiple pints of whitefish. We were even able to salvage some of the ambrosial nectar from the chocolate fountain. More importantly, thanks to TMF we were able to pull off a successful event in the face of some abysmal conditions. I mean... on top of everything a last minute ice storm? And despite being down a person, they did it all with a smile. Bravo!

I was suggested to look into their cups or Char-cutie-cups. They only have cups that includes skewers. It's filled with hummus on the bottom, includes two skewers: berries and meat, crackers. They are about $9 or more a piece, depends on what items are on the skewers. $9 per cup was a little more than we're looking for and not quite the food content we were wanting either at that price either. Not looking for any hummus at all, want to keep it meat and cheese and maybe grapes or fruits. I was told to check out picks online, what I saw online, wasn't what we were looking for, but I imagine they would cater to our needs, price may just go up if we want nicer meats or cheeses or other fruits too. I need something for a group of folks that have a dislike of germs, so this individual cup with skewers would be perfect, but definitely more expensive per person than a charcuterie board would be for the size group of guests. Additionally, we were told the first 5 miles of delivery is included, every mile after that is two dollars a mile. Decided not to proceed this time around, maybe for a smaller / intimate and family gig, but not for an open house to a bunch of people we don't know.
