Very nice venue. Beautiful pools, cabanas, views. Needs help keeping food orders rolling. I was invited to a social event at this location with "LA Girl Code." It was advertised that in exchange for sharing feedback on the venue, we'd get to take photos on the roof and also get food. After waiting several hours, the "food" came in the form of ONE guacamole dip dish and a handful of tacos for over 30 women. It was laughable. It put a bad taste in my mouth for sure, however there may have been a disconnect with the venue and the group promoter. Not sure which one, but most of the girls left hungry and cranky. You just can't have that many people out getting drinks and dancing and then not deliver on the food. Because we had planned to eat, nobody ate beforehand. It may have been enhanced by the fact that there was another event going on, but either way, they should've been able to handle the orders at that capacity, otherwise don't allow that many people into a space. Again, it's a gorgeous venue. Hopefully you'll have a different experience under different circumstances.

This is such a cute bar on the eighth level! I went there for an event called LPN and the place was decorated so cute! They had a lot of cute photo ops and s'mores for free! They have a DJ where they play all kinds of music. I ordered the mini burger sliders, which were delicious! They had the most perfect flavor and were cooked too perfect perfection! Even though the place was packed, the bartenders were fast and very friendly!

This is a nice small casual spot to watch a game and drink some beer. We came in just for a beer and it seemed ok. It's actually right next to the market Whole Foods.

My girlfriends and I visited on November 30, 2025 for the Wonderland Immersive Igloo Experience. The bartenders were great and the atmosphere was nice; however, the food fell short. I ordered the tacos, and the meat lacked flavor even with the salsa. My girlfriends ordered the sliders, and their food also lacked flavor.

This place was really interesting. I have to say the ambiance was cool but the drinks were ridiculous. I ordered a Diet Coke and an amaretto sour and it was $30.00 without tip. Everyone was nice, but it was a bit weird to see so many people in their 30s, 40s and 50s dressed up to go clubbing. I think it's worth a trip to see all the different rooms, from burlesque, to Hookah lounge, to rooftop patio with winter vibes, to Taco Truck overlooking the LA skyline. This is definitely a hit spot for someone and I heard folks talking about how good the food was at certain rooms, but ultimately not for us. Stars for friendliness of staff amazing views and uniqueness of venue.

COMING HERE, is like going to multiple food spots / bars in one night. I highly recommend y'all come here. My fave spot is GOLDEN HOUR , There's a pool there the view is epic and the bar is all the aesthetics with MOVEMENT !!! I just tried drinks and some snacks here, so can't say more about dine in service. For me the bartenders and food truck service was okay, quick , and a lot of waiting at the food truck ... but it was worth it. I got LAVA COLADA AND MAI TAI. I Think for $22 the lava colada was worth it , because of the vibe and view. I've paid more for less of a view and a drink that's not as yummy . The fries was $8 by the food truck, and I got the corn in cup there too which I really enjoyed !:) THE MR WANDERLUST ROOM, with live piano was so good! They have drinks that light on fire, RICO SUAVE $23 Tres Generaciones Reposado Tequila, Ancho Reyes, Pineapple, Cinnamon, Ginger, Citrus... IT's not as tasty imo as the lava colada but worth the show ! 10/10 experience overall. Definitely one of the places you should checkout for fun , with friends or date night ! Oh the lady playing with fire was epic , she showed up by the pool area at night.

Had a great time until about 1AM. The bouncer at the exit of Sinners Y Santos was rude and creepy. His name started with an K. My friend didn't show him interest and he started coming up to us telling us what a high value man he was and he started to threaten us. We were so upset because we had such a good night and the band was so good. We felt so threatened and we left. Our group thought it was so much fun but the fact that a worker was making us feel uncomfortable for not flirting with him is making us rethink returning. We also reported this to 3 bouncers at the front and they just said they would talk him. So sad that this is such a cute place but the workers wouldn't stand up for us.

Beautiful, atmospheric place that feels perfect for a relaxed evening. The lighting, open space, and pool area create a really stylish yet cozy vibe, especially at night. The bar is a highlight -- cocktails are well balanced, creative, and thoughtfully presented. You can tell the bartenders know what they're doing, not just mixing something sweet and calling it a day. Food was genuinely impressive. The meat was cooked perfectly -- tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Portions were solid, and the dishes felt clean and well thought out without being overcomplicated. Service was calm and attentive without being intrusive, which made the experience even better. Overall, everything felt intentional and high quality. Great spot for a date, a night with friends, or just a place to unwind. Would definitely come back. P.S. I had the meat dish inside the main dining area, not on the terrace. I'm not 100% sure if it's the same bar area, but the food was absolutely delicious.

Fabulous restaurant bar atmosphere with a mix of folks and ages. The food at Maison Kasai is extremely good, a bit salty with some dishes but good and memorable. The Parker house rolls, shrimp, crab fried rice. King salmon, wagyu steak, rib eye is good too. The service is on point and a little busy, but if you're patient, the folks are attentive. We paid $85 per person so be careful if you're on a budget. The Level 8 club is a nice surprise with entertainment and excellent DJ.

Hey thank you for the experience, but I was dining at Maison Kasai. I bonded with the guest you had me at first, but then you had me move to other another table with 2 younger guests. The mistake wasn't yours but 2 guests tried to run up my bill while I was going to latrine. I paid my bill before I left but I felt uncomfortable doing it and I shouldn't be put in a situation to pay for 2 random people. I'll buy them a drink to bond but hey had no intentions to do that. I had to pay a lot for something they ordered, but I bit the bullet and paid for what I ate even though I didn't order it. The steak was amazing by the way!!!!

This place was absolute chaos in the best way possible LOL. We were staying right next door at the Moxy and saw a ton of people entering this Level 8 building so decided to check it out and the concept is awesome. Love that it's a ton of different themed bars in one building because there's really something for everyone! We started with Golden Hour that had a gorgeous carousel bar and pool. Very Instagram worthy but was a little chill for us so we checked out the other bars. Mr Wanderlust had a cute library feel and we snapped some pics there and then discovered our favorite.... Sinners Y Santos! This one looked like a club from outside so I was kind of expecting to have to pay cover but luckily it was free entry! Sinners Y Santos was such a fun mix of 19th central cathedral vibes with the ornate glasswork and chandeliers you'd see in that era but also a bumpin club with people dancing on tables AND in the next room above the bar area was a wrestling ring that had actual live wrestlers doing a show and pyrotechnics?! I mean WHAT?! Apparently it was a nod to El Santo a Mexican luchador and folk hero... what a fun concept!!! We had so much fun at this bar before walking next door to our hotel to pass out!

    Is there a dresscode?

I'm not sure if there's a dress code, but everyone was dressed up. I don't recommend you come in shorts and a T-shirt. You can wear jeans, but make sure you wear a dress shirt.

    How is parking?

I valet parked for $20. There is paid parking garage. No street parking.

The type of bar you choose is important. But sometimes, the Bar Chooses You! Bar Magnolia quietly enters the chat. It was October 11th, 2025 and my wife & I just checked into Hotel Figueroa in DTLA. (EPIC REVIEW Coming Soon!!!) While we were waiting for our room to be ready, we decided to check out the Hotel Bar Lounge... First thought, Color me Impressed! High ceilings, Natural lighting, classy decor, comfy couches... Yeah, take your time with that room, we'll wait! So we plopped down onto their sofa, waited for a cocktail menu, and let the "we left the kids at home with Grandma; let's enjoy being kid-free for the night begin". $18.00 cocktails....Lets Goooo!! Looking back at the Photos, I can't exactly recall what we ordered... Was it a whiskey sour? Was it a paper plane?? Honestly, Who cares! They tasted great. I was sitting across from a beautiful woman. And we were responsibly adulting. What more could a guy ask for?? I'm glad you asked! After a long car ride in, sipping on water, then the first few sips of my cocktail, I suddenly had to go... Luckily, the restrooms are located just adjacent to the bar area and DAMN are they clean!! Hey, if a bar restroom is well taken care of, you know the place has Class.... And Bar Magnolia has the Class to Match! Of course, there is bar stool seating at the bar... Unfortunately, we had stopped to eat before we arrived (bad move on our part), but next time, and THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME, we will definitely partake in their food menu (cause damn, did it look GOOD!) So whether you are a guest of Hotel Figueroa, you are leaving the Crypto Arena after a concert and want to paint the town red, or you are simply just wanting to sit, relax and enjoy a nice cocktail at a classy, upscale, but not so pretentious Cocktail Lounge... Absolutely. I think more frequent updates about wait times and capacity would have helped manage expectations. That said, once we got inside, we honestly had a great time. The atmosphere was fun, the energy was amazing, and it was clear that the staff was working incredibly hard. They were dealing with a crowd that seemed much larger than anyone anticipated, and despite being understaffed, everyone we interacted with remained professional and friendly. I also think it's important to be realistic about the situation. There were people lined up far down the street, and just looking at the size of the restaurant, it was obvious that there was no way everyone would be able to get in. It was an extremely popular event, and the demand simply exceeded the venue's capacity. I completely understand why some people left feeling frustrated, especially if they waited and didn't get in. At the same time, I don't think the staff deserved the level of criticism they've been receiving. From what I saw, they were doing their best in a difficult situation and trying to accommodate as many people as possible. For our group, the wait ended up being worth it. We had a great time cheering on Korea, enjoyed the food and drinks, and made some fun memories with friends. No event is perfect, especially with a huge crowd. We had a good time and will be back

When I arrived, there were only about 15-20 people ahead of me in line. As the afternoon progressed, the line stretched down the street, yet no staff member came outside to communicate capacity limits, seating availability, or where the line should reasonably end. Even more concerning, patrons were not admitted until after the match had already started. The situation quickly became chaotic. People who had waited for hours were understandably frustrated, and many were openly voicing their concerns. Groups were admitted one at a time, creating further delays. When it was finally my turn to enter, I was informed that all tables had been taken and that only standing room remained. I was allowed to look inside before deciding whether to stay. What I observed was particularly disappointing: many individuals who had not been ahead of me in line were already seated at tables. I have no idea how they got in but I suspect they were allowed in through some other entrance. After waiting more than two hours based on the information provided by the establishment, this felt unfair and misleading. Most disappointing was having invited friends to join me for the match, only to have the experience ruined by what appeared to be poor planning and inadequate crowd management. The demand for a major World Cup match should not have come as a surprise. If the venue anticipated significant attendance, additional seating, staffing, and clear communication should have been put in place. This was one of the most poorly managed event experiences I have encountered. At a minimum, I believe the ownership should publicly acknowledge what occurred and apologize to the many customers who invested hours of their time only to be left without the accommodations they were promised. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
