This is the worst airline ever. First flight from Miami to Barcelona my sister was down graded from first class to the back with the explanation that her seat was broken. My seat was right next to hers and the person that ended up in her seat was just fine. They gave us a phone number that nobody answered. Our return flight both of our business class seats are downgraded to the back of the plane no explanation other than the row of seat is not operable, they were saved for the flight attendants who were sleeping in all of the seats that were considered inoperable. They pulled a curtain to give them privacy. I want a full refund and plan on reporting them to the every agency that will do anything. I met and talked to many of the passengers that hat the same experiences. Shame on them for making the beginning and the end of my vacation so upsetting.

I need to first say that for a trip from Stuttgart to Boston (via Barcelona) for $224 including one large piece of luggage, I can't complain too much. The A330 from BCN to BOS was new and the on time flight got me and my bag to Boston in one piece. That having been said, you do get what you pay for. The meal was small and the flight departed from Gate E85 which mean a VERY LONG WALK from check in to the gate. Arrival in Boston was at E16, another very long walk to passport control. The flight attendants obviously had some personal issues which they brought with them to work: A male FA looked at me in passing and said very audibly, "We all love a hole." Shortly before landing the pilot made his approach announcement using the word "kraut" and saying to the entire cabin, "Thank you for nothing," among other slights. The flight attendant used the complete N word during her announcement to my utter shock. (We aren't in Europe anymore!) Lastly, I had ordered 2 extra sandwiches and a beverage in good faith a few days prior to departure totaling $12.71. Much to my chagrin, the stews never provided me with the food, even after an inquiry. When I emailed customer service, including a screen shot of my bank statement reflecting the Level charge, customer service still refused to refund me my money saying that they had not received a report from the cabin crew indicating that the food have not been served. All in all, it was an inexpensive point to point flight across The Pond. Just don't expect ANY frills.

think five times before you fly with them. this is the worst flight of my life. i originally bought a ticket with iberia but this piece of crap flew the flight instead. the plane was about my age. all cracked. terribly dirty inside. i paid for seat selection but it didn't recline and when i asked why are you selling this they offered to move me to the back of the plane. they turn on cold air conditioning and sell blankets and duvets. food is also paid for and terribly tasteless. tea is paid for. it was a terrible mistake. never fly with them. never,

I usually don't write a review unless the business is exceptionally horrible. Level Airlines qualified in so many ways. The check in staff is incompetent as well as rude. I have paid for our seats and they sold our seats. Instead of being at the front, we ended up in the last row. The check in agent gave us a pathetic reason for checking our "special" luggage at another line. When we ran half way across the airport, the other agent was surprised. We also paid for the food. Somehow, it was not checked off by the same incompetent agent. Imagine flying for 13 hours without food. We ended up paying again for food. We will never fly this airline again. We recommend that you do the same.

Level Airline is a partnership with Iberia airlines. The airline started with 2 aircrafts and 4 routes with flights between Europe and the Americas. 6 months ago, I found a killer deal on Iberia airlines that started flights from Oakland to Barcelona for $320 roundtrip. Shoot, with no hesitation I hurried and purchased my ticket --it was an Economy Class product (which I'll talk about later on in the review). LEVEL flights are both marketed under IB code and operated by Iberia. The online check-in process was smooth. The most surprising part of the check-in is that you can buy an upgrade to Premium Economy for as little as 150€, which is a good deal, considering that the basic Premium Economy fare is 685€ Level is a low-fare airline that charges for everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. Want a seat on the plane? How 'bout a pillow? Okay, a blanket? Yup, you're paying for all of that! My seat cost $33 and I definitely wasn't paying for a damn pillow (which should be complementary since they're not even comfortable to begin with!) Now, although Level is a low-fare airline, I have to give the crew members and pilot the utmost respect and props! Flight staff consisted of 3 people in the cockpit and 8 in the cabin. My flight from Oakland to Barcelona was a straight flight -- Yes, no layover! Level provided exceptional service the entire flight! I mean, they came around at least once an hour to see if anyone needed water or something to eat. The Economy cabin is tightly packed with 40 rows in a 2-4-2 layout. 40! The cabin was clean, but those seats?? Oh, lawd! Level, you got to step it up baby! Those seats hurt my damn back! Wassup with that? I have to say those seats SUCK! They made up for it by getting me to Barcelona 2 hours earlier than expected! The seats belong to the "thin line" category, but opposite to what United did with their Coach retrofitting, these seats come with decent cushion and they actually recline. Pitch is the main issue with the seat layout. 40 rows of Economy seats are a lot of rows, and an A330 only has certain length. It feels cramped back in the main cabin. As you can see, I have mixed feelings with Level Airlines, but truly loved their low cost flights! Would I fly with Level again? HELL YEA! Their airline prices are hard to beat! Next time, I will make sure to upgrade my damn seat, though. Treat yourself! Safe travels!

We arrived at the Barcelona airport and were greeted by Mercedes. She was so pleasant and very informative. We flew from Barcelona to Madrid and the ticket agent was very rude. I don't remember the question now but she had no clue what customer service was and also did not like to speak. Worse, on the plane, everybody's sound system and video were not working. For the whole flight. From Madrid to Miami! We had been in a rush that day and I was not able to eat much for breakfast on the cruise ship we were leaving. I also did not like that food choices at the Barcelona Airport and we raced to get to the departure area in Madrid. So no time for me to eat. We were served two meals on the flight from Miami to Madrid. The first one was truly hideous. I normally pickier with my food but when I am hungry and flying, I don't really have a choice. The supposed meat I was served truly horrific. But the salad was actually fresh and the dressing was really good. The crumb cake was very tasty and fresh. Second meal was breakfasty items that I do not even remember just a few weeks later. It was just okay. I tried the red and white wines and both were definitely decent. But I am not a wine snob. They got us home safely and did not lose our luggage. That and Mercedes were the highlights of my Iberia experience.

From the first second we arrived at the airport, Iberia continually reached new lows. They did not post a gate for checkin until less than an hour and forty minutes prior to departure. Then the gates they posted did not have any staff. Now 90 minutes from departure another passenger/victim discovered all 200 people were at the wrong check-in desks. We had to run for 5 minutes and were able to get checked in about an hour before the flight. Security was decent and we arrived at the listed gate with about 50 minutes to spare. The fun was only beginning. While standing in the free for all line, they changed the gate so we all ran to the new one. The gate agents had no clue their gate was our flight, and had no interest in helping anyone find out what was going on. Lo and behold, with less than 30 minutes before the scheduled takeoff, Ms. I don't give a crap announced that the original gate was now correct. So run to that gate and stand in another line. They then changed the flight to almost an hour delay so ciao bambino to our connecting flight to Barcelona. After standing in line for another 30 minutes, we finally boarded. Landing in Madrid after the connection had left, we went to the original Barcelona gate and asked the agent what we should do? We obviously interrupted some very important games of solitaire or tinder romances as she disdainfully waved us away to go to the help desk. So, off we went and found 3 non-functional kiosks and not one sentient being, or at least a breathing Iberia representative. We then had the brilliant idea to go to the Iberia business lounge and see if they could help us. We finally ran into someone who at least showed a modicum of interest and helpfulness and were put on standby for a flight in 3 hours. We asked about our luggage catching up to us and we received the very assuring "maybe". 30 minutes later, we both received economy seats 21 rows apart but we did not care. Flight left on time and arrived on schedule. We checked our Apple ID tags and all of our luggage was still in Madrid so off to find the lost luggage desk. After asking a half dozen people and wandering around for 30 minutes, we found it. Shockingly, there was a line of over 20 people waiting to report lost bags. The story is not over yet as we have been waiting for over 45 minutes and are only marginally closer to the two beleaguered agents. Where this nightmare will end is anyone's guess. We fly all the time and can safely say Iberia is the worst airline known to man or woman. From the complete disorganization and unhelpful attitudes, I am shocked they are not extinct. I guess when government runs an airline, there are no consequences for incompetence and they just keep gorging on the public teat. I would rather hitch hike in a two sizes too small speedo with a transparent bag of $100s around my neck than suffer through another Iberia "flight". Y'all have been warned and can only blame yourselves if you are foolish - no, stupid enough - to ever use Iberia. Caveat Emptor cannot be stressed strongly enough.

Once I found my bag wouldn't fit as a carry-on, I was told I will need to check it, which is fine. I was already checked in, but the rep at the front told me I had to wait through the entire check in line to get my bag checked. When all I needed to do was go to the bag drop. Why didn't the rep simply explain that? I wait for 40 minutes and get to the check in rep who tells me I need to go to the next line over to pay for it. What? Why can't I just pay at the location I dropped my bag off. Turns out I can, but the rep never told me I could. It gets better. So I go to the next line over to the bag drop and wait 15 minutes at which point the rep tells me in need to go to THE OTHER LINE at the service window to pay. I then wait another 15 minutes at the service window to pay and then I had to go back to the original check in rep (and wait a couple more minutes) to get the receipt for my luggage. Please total that up. Yes, I had to wait in 3 lines (almost 4) and well over an hour just to check my bag. That is the absolute antithesis of anything I would consider "Easy". EasyJet, please review your processes and staff training to be more informative and accommodating.
