With huge plate glass windows throughout the space. There was also a rainwater drainage issue that needed a solution. All my concerns about the tile layout and sloping for drainage and protecting the big windows were all addressed both upfront and throughout process. This job included removing the old tiles, machine grinding to remove old cement and rebuilding of the cement base outside, putting in a new drainage pipe through a cement frame under a glass wall and then installing the new tile. The end result is a beautiful new tile floor. I highly recommend DJ and his team to handle your home remodel projects.

I believe they have the skill set to do basic repairs and projects. Maybe even more than easy, but it seems when any sort of adversity comes the quality falters. I had a driveway done, which does look nice, but ended up cracking in quite a few places. Not two or three places, but all over. Cracking across the majority of the driveway. I asked about any sort of warranty, having one or two cracks I could've looked past it. When it continued and started cracking all over it got frustrating. Especially when JD came out and looked at the cracks and told me he would ask his concrete guys about a fix. (At this point I was already anticipating he would NOT get back to me, and what do you know. Ghosted.) No communication after that, no attempts to update me on any sort fix. For anyone that reads the reviews. You'll notice the out of country, had an emergency excuse. He used that excuse with me as well after blowing us off for multiple days at a time. Seems fishy. Cheap contractor. Cheap work. Bad customer service. I'd recommend to do your due diligence and get more quotes especially if these guys are your only one. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I feel a moral obligation to write this review, given the stellar reviews…read more I waited a bit to review, because I wanted to make sure I had as much information as possible before writing it. I hired the team to hang and tape/mud about 1000 sqft of drywall. I had a number of quotes, and Solution DryTex was one of the higher ones, but still within reason. I went with them because of their responsiveness and friendliness. I fired them part way through the work. I had six other drywall companies out to inspect their work - all six said it was unacceptably poor - four of them said to tear it out and start over. As they started hanging, they were doing an alright job, though slightly messier than I would've liked. As they continued, they did a few things that were absolutely unacceptable: - Extensive over-driven screws, which means the drywall will not hold well - Breaks in drywall not directly over a stud/joist, which means the drywall will flex and crack - Extremely poor shimming, meaning the drywall will be crooked - Random pieces of trash sitting behind drywall, meaning the drywall wasn't sitting level - Unnecessary breaks in drywall, which will cause more visual imperfections. - Completely crooked pieces that won't be able to made to look good, no matter the amount of mud I brought up some of these concerns, and they attempted to fix them. The fixes were wholly inadequate. Before I had a chance to circle back with regards to those fixes, they begun taping. After I saw their taping work, I promptly fired them. The taping work contained a number of major problems: - Prefill huge gaps using premixed mud, which will take weeks to dry (if ever) - Mud all over my brand new windows - Bubbled tape that won't be able to be hidden - Globs of mud used to fill an inch wide gap - Corner beads with large curves in them I messaged them repeatedly, telling them they needed to return my money, given the fact that I was going to have to redo all of their work, and they wasted thousands of dollars in material. I received no responses. The team is very nice - they're a pleasure to be around. But no amount of kindness makes up for the fact that they have no idea what they're doing. I don't feel particularly good about leaving this review, but I think it's the right thing to do - I don't want them to take advantage of others like they took advantage of me. EDIT: In response to the owner: Scope of work: Correct, the work was interrupted before it was finished. This was after trying to get poor work corrected. I have also verified with six independent teams that the quality of the work was not such that it could be made to look good and last. Site conditions: Regarding framing, the team came out ahead of the project and spent quite a while measuring. If the framing was not acceptable, then that would've been the time to say so. Client collaboration: Now you're just being strictly dishonest, because moving the cabinets was explicitly included in the agreement. And you used _one_ sheet of drywall, mostly because you used the 1/2 drywall in the wrong places and needed to make up for that fact. Quality of work and adjustments: The work was so far from professional that it could not be adequately adjusted. I have verified this with SIX different companies, to make sure I'm being reasonable in my assessment. Track record: I can't speak to this. All I know is my experience.

Today, Thursday January 21st, they were scheduled to come out and replace a sagging fence post and install a broken bathroom Hester. I the pouring down rain, they re-dug the post hole, added rock to the bottom of the hole, and poured concrete after they put the new fence post. They made sure the post was plumb and steadied it with 2X4s and they'll return next week to remove the 2X4s. They also installed a new wall heater in the master bathroom and quickly tested it and cleaned up their work area. I can highly recommend this small company enough as they not only did excellent work but their prices were very reasonable.
