It's a nice shopping complex with an outdoor mall format. It's a bit cold right now to enjoy the fresh air between stores but I imagine it's really nice in the warmer months. They have a lot of the major chains I frequent like DSW, Old Navy, NY&Co and the Loft. There are public restrooms and places for coffee and food as well. I will definitely be back here for all my clothing shopping.

This is a newer mall that offers more upscale shops than other malls in the area. It is the perfect place to be on a beautiful day, though it can be miserable in the winter. It has beautiful landscaping with trees that bloom in the spring. When the wind blows, pretty little petals shower the walkways! Love it! Some of the shops I frequent include Bergners, Charlotte Russe, Charming Charlie's, Old Navy, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Banana Republic. There are several options for places to eat including steakhouses, stir fry, coffee shops, and ice cream! There are several specialty shops as well. Check the store directory online before visiting. Since this mall is so new, things are always changing to find the perfect fit for the local consumers.

The entire time we were in there, she never once spoke a word to me. Mind you, there were only three customers there, and she kept assisting the others, all the while ignoring me. I had clothes I wanted to try on, but she walked right past me and asked the other customer if she could start a fitting room for her, ignoring the pile of clothes I had in my arms. I have worked retail before, and I was NEVER even half as rude to a customer. Her attitude and behavior were absolutely uncalled for, and instead of purchasing around ten items that I wanted for my upcoming vacation, I walked out empty handed, and will never step foot in there again. I wish I could give a zero star review.

I learned that J Crew Mercantile is actually a re-branded J Crew Factory store that is opening in non-outlet plazas and shops nationwide. I am a huge fan of the Factory store product, so I think it's fabulous that they're making their product available outside of outlet centers. I am sure that the Peoria customer is excited to have this retailer in The Shoppes at Grand Prairie.

This is well worth it for quality shoes when you're bound to spend $25 or so at a "discount" store on generic shoes. Plus, I'd say they had roughly 60 pairs of shoes to choose from for each males and females, and they have different width sizes for women (ie, bonus for fat feet = wide!). Also had some fancy and cute trouser socks, luggage, and miscellaneous accessories. The store is way out at the BN outlet mall in West Bloomington (where it is now pretty much the only store there), so it's frequently empty. Hopefully it will survive there...

I wouldn't say that it has as many departments as a bigger store, but it has a good selection and enough sales that it's worth dropping in. Do sign up for their e-mail mailing list when you're in the neighborhood; that way you know when they have department wide sales and markdowns. I personally like buying from a regional chain rather than the huge national chains like Macy's when I can, so Four Seasons is great for me.
