Had the displeasure of eating here this evening. We ordered three different plates for the table,…read moreand every single one came out cold, not just lukewarm, but like it had been sitting in a refrigerator and never reheated. The only items that were actually hot were the catfish and a hotdog. Our waitress took about 20 minutes to come back and take our order, and after the food was delivered, we didn't see her again for quite a while. That meant we never had the chance to mention the food was cold, couldn't get refills, and were left sitting there waiting for the check. When she finally returned roughly 25 minutes later, she saw that most of the food was untouched and didn't question it at all. At that point, we just paid and left. To make matters worse, there's a section of the ceiling actively leaking a dark, sticky substance that looks like honey, which is pretty concerning. The pepper sauce for the greens also had peppers that had turned completely white, not even a tiny of green or yellow anymore. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We won't be returning.

Went looking for Cajun food for Mardi Gras & Tim's was so fun and good we went 2 nights in a row…read more Pros: - Everyone is treated like family, Tim comes around and talks to every table. - The food is authentic Cajun cuisine with loads of flavor - large portions - live music and fun atmosphere - food and drinks specials weekly, check their socials - love the decor, feels like Louisiana in AL - the sweet roll that comes with platters is phenomenal!!!! Cons: - Very busy (was a holiday weekend), which is great for them - could just be slow w service at times. - Expensive priced crawfish compared to other spots in town $45 for 3lb w potatoes corn and sausage. I know it travels a ways to get here, just still pricey - Smoking area in garage/bar seating *if that bothers you* - cold out back depending on the time of year

I've been to a handful of BTL performances over the years. I've seen Jesus Christ Superstar in the…read moreearly 90s which was really well done! I saw it again, this month, and it was not as well done and not Biblically accurate at all - there was a lot of creative license taken in that respect. That's not BTL's responsibility though. I really enjoyed a Bollywood production here years and years ago and my husband and I saw Mama Mia! which surprised me as it was a really good production! I like the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall. There's really not a bad seat in the house! There's a full-service bar/lounge on the first floor and beverages are allowed in the Smith Concert Hall. Do know there are no drink holders like you have in movie theaters, so you will be holding your drink at your seat. There are no purse restrictions that I am aware of, they don't require clear purses; however, if you have a full-sized [not a miniature, but a full-sized] umbrella security will check it upon entry for you to retrieve when you leave. The restrooms are very clean and they have a concession stand on the ground floor. I could see popcorn from the area I chose to sit outside the performance for a minute. Parking is easy at the garage just east of the venue across Monroe. I saw John Crist's comedy show at the Smith Hall earlier this year and it was really good, too! Pro tip: If you volunteer to be an usher, you will see the BTL productions free of charge! They have a lot of ushers working and it looks like an easy gig, as they basically just pass out playbills. Thanks BTL for elevating the Huntsville cultural experience for 65 years!

I stood center stage at the back of GA Pit and had a great view with easy access to the restrooms, and a secluded GA Pit bar off to the side. 10/10 would recommend.

Several good food options - all very expensive - but that seems to be the nature of most concert venues. In the Amphitheater courtyard there are several food trucks. I got a relatively small quesadilla from the Fire & Spice food truck for ~$20. There are also more food and alcohol options at the numerous counters built into the venue. You're allowed to bring an empty reusable water bottle to fill at a water station once you enter the venue. Or if you purchase water (~$5) it comes in a reusable cup that you return before you leave. The bathrooms were clean and the staff directing people to their seating were nice. Parking seems to vary by popularity of the artist. With Lana Del Rey, we got there about ~1 hour before the show start and we were directed to park at an office building past the Amphitheater parking lot (~5 minute walk to venue gates). For Lord Huron, we got there ~45 minutes before the show start and we were able to park halfway up the main parking lot (~2 minute walk to venue gates).
