The alligator is spot on perfect and tender. The boiled crawfish - I wait all year for the post that Tim's has it in. The spice is perfect. I drive about an hour and a half for the crawfish. The only thing I would ask in a perfect world is if the boil started earlier than 4 on Saturdays. But I'll take what I can get! Service has always been great!

Ordered at 11:30 for a Noon pickup. Misjudged traffic and got there at 1215. Food was not ready for pickup. Finally got food about 10 minutes later, everything looks amazing but was soggy. I ordered a catfish PoBoy with fries for myself. Catfish had zero taste & fries were limp & soggy. 1 Coworker ordered a shrimp PoBoy, said his shrimp taste like rubber, same issues with fries. Last coworker ordered Wings, Jambalaya, & Fries. Same issue with fries, Didn't get to the Jambalaya, & the wings were "just okay". For a grand total of $70, this was NOT money well spent. Maybe I will catch the food truck this summer but I will not be back to the restaurant.

I've heard about Tim's Canjun Kitchen so decided to finally try it out. It appears the building used to be a Pizza Hut. With that being said, it is definitely a "mom and pop" type of restaurant. Its decor is definitely geared towards Louisiana, hence "Canjun" kitchen. The restaurant definitely needs some upgrades although it was clean. Our waitress/cashier was super nice and gave us great service. I ended up ordering the gumbo with fried okra and corn nuggets. The gumbo was good, however it was just too much rice. Less rice and more gumbo. And although the okra and the corn nuggets were very crispy (how I like it), they were served a little on the cold side. I almost asked the waitress to pop my plate in the microwave. Last but not least, I tried their famous bread pudding. It was delicious, but once again, it was on the cold side. Not sure if the food is actually cooked to order, but nonetheless it was pretty decent. Not sure if it screams Louisiana, but definitely will come back and try something else on their menu.

Food is excellent. Dark & dated furniture. Carpet flooring. Badass airbrush murals depicting the kitchen & restaurant. Daily specials. Excellent service. Fair price. Extensive menu and beer selections. Ill be back every Wednesday.

First time there. I love mom and pops with local flavor. This has plenty. Excellent value. Service was quick. Had the jambalaya with fried okra and deviled eggs. Jambalaya was served in rice, versus pasta with sauce, so different than what I've had before, but it was very good. I am not a Cajun connoisseur so not sure what authentic is or includes. Lunch menu served until 5PM when the dinner menu is served.

Food was EXCELLENT. The waitress was super friendly and even showed us art in other parts of the restaurant. I live in northern Kentucky and I would drive back for the bread pudding!!

Being form New Orleans I love the atmosphere at Tim's. The decorations and decor make me feel like I'm home. I stopped in last Friday to try their meat load special. A large chunk of meat load was served with a side of mashed potatoes. The other side was bread pudding and I love bread pudding. Their bread pudding is more dense that traditional bread pudding, but their sauce is spot on. The absolute winner of the meal was the roll. OMG! Their yeast roll was the best roll that I've ever tasted in my life. I told the waitress how much I liked the roll and she brought a couple extra to the table. So much for the diet, but it was worth it. The service provided by Melissa was outstanding. I need to return to Tim's more often. My ticket was $13.41 before tip.

The food was very good. Even our picky eater loved it. We ordered some gator bites to share and they were a table favorite.

The stuffed potato and green bean casserole were good too, as was the Tuxedo black IPA to wash it down.

My spouse greens were not seasoned, the dressing was like stovetop, and the Mac and cheese had no soul. I called back today to let them know about the chicken and that I kept it for proof. Some narcissistic man, perhaps the owner, proceeded to tell me they don't do refunds or take anything back. Not that I wanted him to take it back, but I kept it as proof because we spent about $50 or a little more and after an all day convention, my dinner was ruined. The way he acted it, seemed like it wasn't the first time he has served spoiled food or had a complaint. The Health Department should have them on the top of the list. Every dish has been impressive. The wings are some of the best I've ever had: meaty, perfectly cooked, and coated in a great sauce. The redfish was fantastic as well -- cooked just right, with broccoli and rice that were surprisingly delicious for simple sides. And then there's the burger. WOW. I had the double bacon burger: two 1/4‑lb smashed patties and several thick strips of bacon. I added lettuce and tomato, and it was a serious meal -- in the best way. I swapped the fries for onion rings, and those deserve their own shout‑out. Thin‑sliced onions, lightly breaded, and absolutely addictive. I also have to mention Vay, our server. It was loaded with grilled chicken, bacon, red onion, tomatoes, eggs, and lettuce, This salad was delicious! 5/5 Dave ordered Fried Catfish Orleans, deconstructed. He asked for the fried catfish, the fried shrimp, and the crawfish étouffée to be served separately rather than everything piled on top of each other. He said the catfish was very good, the shrimp was very good and he enjoyed the crawfish étouffée, but said it was on the spicy side. I am glad I asked him to get the dish deconstructed. This way he was able to enjoy the catfish and shrimp and not worry about the étouffée being too spicy. He loved his meal. 5/5 I asked for a cup of red beans and rice to go. The red beans were on the spicy side. They were very tasty but definitely had some kick. 5/5 If you like sporting events and going to a sports bar versus sitting at home, please stop by Walk On's.
