I get gas here all the time. Today is the first time I've walked inside and looked around. I ordered a fried bologna sandwich for my rest stop break on my way to Georgia and it was just what I was craving! I don't eat hillbilly round steak often, but when I do, I like a thick slice. And that's what you get. I don't understand why people have been leaving reviews about bad customer service. Everyone working was smiling and pleasant to me. I think the signs are funny. And they sell an assortment of t-shirts, handbags, knives, and candles. This store supports our second amendment right to bear arms and that's what attracted me to stop there. Plus their gas prices are cheaper than the few stations I pass in Ashland City. read more

I went there the other day and got me the best fried bologna sandwich I've had in a long time! The people are all nice and kind! It was so good I went back the next day and got me a mushroom Swiss burger and ff . It was really good also. So far everything I've ate has been very good!! The inside and out side of the store is great also you can learn about history. Take some pictures and have great memories of a little store out in the country. The inside is so cool if you got a gun buff in the house! My new favorite place to go and eat and just look around!! They have donuts that are made fresh everyday! They have t shirts and hoodie for sale! They have these life like cardboard people that you can stand beside and take a picture with!! It's a very cool and unique place to go too!! The Food provided for purchasing is really good and is prepared while you wait. Their Fried Bologna Sandwich is Awesome and available with choices of bread and dressings. I love this place. There are some really cool displays in the store including a Gatling gun. They definitely have the cheapest gas in the Nashville area. I had one of their breakfast burritos and it was fantastic. However what impressed me the most was the caring attitudes of the employees that work here. While I was in the store a homeless man came into the store looking for food. I was expecting for them to kick him out. Instead they fed this man and got him a ride to a homeless shelter. Absolutely above and beyond. If you're in the area I 100% recommend giving theses guys your business. All politics aside this place really restored my faith in this country. read more

We just ordered food (Aug 29th, 2019) at noon. The lady taking the orders was very rude to all 3 of us. We just walked up and she was like what do you want!? Not expecting that from lewis's. Speak very very slowly when ordering or be prepared to get the wrong food. They're super patriotic but apparently can't understand proper english. The food is not worth the hassle, the tenders (that I didn't even order) tasted like they had been microwaved; tough and bland. Do yourself a favor and take the 10min drive over to Clarksville Hwy for 'cue and fried chicken that will knock your socks off. Try Real Deal BBQ or 400 Degrees. Don't waste your money on this low quality stuff, from how rude staff acted, I don't think they even appreciate having customers at all. read more

Made a special trip to Lewis Country Store on our trip to Nashville. I told the husband that we HAVE TO GO. Felt right at home. The staff we very pleasant . First of all I am seeing all these negative "reviews" because the owner is expressing his First Amendment right on his sign....however these same "people" would scream if their comments were removed from Yelp....that being said we have always gotten great service and a friendly smile while in the store. Never thought much about this store as you could always use the credit card machine to pay at the pump. That changed last week when they started taking cash only for some reason. So much for a "convenience" store... Asked about this when I went inside and the guy started going off, like I had something to do with it. Made me a bit nervous, especially with all the pro-gun stuff (shirts, merch, signs on the wall) around. Something is off with this place. Always looked ok from the outside, but the people inside are angry. Sorry your credit card machine isn't working, but don't take it out on customers. It's just as easy to buy gas elsewhere and that's what I'll be doing from now on. read more

Terribly slow service and not at all convenient! It took 20 minutes to receive 4 chicken tenders to go and the cashier was having the worst time getting my order right. You should definitely train better and have food items readily available during lunch hour for being a gas station. read more
