I called to make an appointment on several occasions on the same day, 4-17-24. First, I tried to…read moremake an appt. with Dr. Ariel Goldberg. My situation was medically critical, so when the young woman who answers told me they were booked up, I POLITELY asked her to take a message and give it to this Dr. Ariel Goldberg to see if she might squeeze me in. The young woman not only did little but resist, and even argue with me for the next three minutes, she also forgot three simple things I has already told her three times, leading me to have to say, "I really must ask you to please pay attention." Then she asked me if I wanted to speak to her supervisor. Knowing that I'd never get connected, I told her to please do so anyway... and then I waited for several more minutes while no one ever came on the line. At 3:32, I saw another there's another dentist, Dr. Suzanne Maslo, listed at the same number, so I called again. The phone was answered by a woman who said she is that supervisor, and she did nothing but express seething contempt as she interrupted me over and over before I could finish my first sentence, and repeatedly said that the first woman hadn't forgotten anything, and she did her job exactly as she was supposed to do it. You know the saying, "If you let people show you what they are, they always do."? Well, Metro just did that thing, and not just for me. Metro just did that for you. Metro showed you that you will be treated viciously if you're dumb enough to trust Metro with your body. There are plenty of other fish in the sea, so you should go fishing for dental and medical treatment with those other fish ... except "Perfect Smile", that is, one of my former dentistry bad choices. Wow, does that corporate chain have bad ratings, and at every single one of its thirteen local offices, too. Maybe Metro Community Health Center and Perfect Smile will have a merger so you can get bad treatment at more places!

So many cuts and scrapes on my gums which I have never experienced from another dentist. It also didn't seem very sanitary. He also told me "you have a bunch of stupid little cavities" and scheduled me for fillings, even though he never took x-rays. The root canal incompletely performed in February by Garrity without consent of no post or core, was rescheduled with Terasavage in March. I sat in his chair and he definitely did something but other than his assistant Kenya shaving my front healthy tooth down without telling me, I'm not sure what. Dr Bush revealed that the core was actually NEVER installed by Steel City Dental!!!! I paid for it though!!!! Major marginal leaks were found on one year old crowns with cracks that shouldn't be happening, and the Dr Bush noted the composite they use is crap. Simple things like making sure cement is flush with tooth was ignored and has caused a ledge on front ght tooth in image causing discoloration and staining with bacterial growth under the cement, Dr Bush quickly polished it down and I INSTANTLY look better. The lack of care let alone QUALITY care is laughable at this place. If you are willing to risk your hard earned money, energy, happiness, time (lots of hours wasted sitting in that office regardless of appointment time) respect and confidence then I would recommend any other dentist then the crew at Steel City Dental. If you want quality care that actually will last twenty plus years instead of 1-5 years then RUN! Heather is very unorganized and unprofessional. So far they have performed above our expectations and in my case I needed immediate attention. The whole staff has been thorough and caring. I am in the middle of getting a dental implant and so far I'm impressed with the tooth extraction and the post placement. If you use a smartphone the practice makes sure that you are constantly reminded about your appointments with texts and emails. Also they have another office in Morningside if you live in the east end area. Both my wife and son are also enrolled with Polished Dental and are happy with their care.
