Our old dentist retired and he recommended Polished Dental. Being we live close by we decided to go there. So far they have performed above our expectations and in my case I needed immediate attention. The whole staff has been thorough and caring. I am in the middle of getting a dental implant and so far I'm impressed with the tooth extraction and the post placement. If you use a smartphone the practice makes sure that you are constantly reminded about your appointments with texts and emails. I went to them approximately 2 years ago for cavities on the left side of my mouth and a removable partial on the upper right and the dentist who moved to Arizona continued drilling while I was screaming ( he did continue putting more novacain with not much success ) this was for a tooth he said needed sanded down to accommodate the removable partial? i have since gone to another dentist and was informed the removable partial should have been sanded down to accommodate my actual teeth He ruined a completely healthy tooth and I wound up losing 2 of the teeth on the left. It wasn't what he wanted to do I guess? So...I lost a total of 3 teeth from this place and spent a lot of money to get nothing by lose more teeth I would never recommend them!!!!! I have been going to the Churchill location of Polished Dental. First of all the people in the photos listed are now gone so its whole new crew (again). Its been a virtual revolving door with the dentists and hygienists too and a VERY rude male manager at the front desk. Lately they don't even answer their phone and put it on voicemail. I've been a loyal patient for almost 13 years and now I'm moving on. I had extreme tooth pain over the holidays and called the emergency number - left a message and got a "text" back to basically call another dentist - WOW. Wonderful Dentist, terrible business. My wife and I were both patients for 10 years all of a sudden they do not take Aetna Medicare. When I call they tell me they are in negotiation, I called Aetna and they said that they are in network. I would think the insurance company knows what they're talking about. The guy that answers the phone is rude. It's hard for me to believe how they treated us after patronizing them for so many years. read more

I recently switch to Polished Dental on a referral from a friend, and I am so happy with the service I've experienced so far! Dr Joey Troupe has a wonderful bedside manner and explains what he is doing thoroughly. It's a great experience for someone who had a fear of the dentist it previous dental trauma. We set up a dental plan that fits my aesthetic and hygiene priority. I was able to get in to see him to days after my first consultation to fix my root canal and to subpar fillings done at another dentist. Ashley, his dental hygienist is so friendly and calming.
