From the first call I placed I knew he is the only person who would be able to help me . I had lost hope in myself , when I first saw him I wasn't even ready to talk but doctor Eimer broke the ice and we started talking and dealing with the issues. Doctor Eimer treats you by helping you deal with your issues and making you more grounded, and depending less on medications. He is an expert EMDR therapy . My experience with EMDR with him was our of the world he will not force you and giv you pointers , he on the other hands let's those thoughts and emotions come to you naturally and then help you process it and deal with it . To be honest I haven't found any therapist that is willing to EMDR. But doctor Eimer didn't hesitate to do it and infact he even suggested more therapies to decrease medication dependence . When you are in a bad place in your life you want someone to understand you , help you deal with it and not jsut ask you maintain a journal and then talk about things from the journal. He is so much more than that . He is understanding and kind. I have been to four different therapist and no one ever has helped like he did . So anyone struggling.. pls call Doctor Eimer he will change your life . He will change the way you see yourself and the world . Surgery was extremely successful and Dr Herschman's skills, bedside manner, knowledge and follow up care are top notch! In addition to the impeccable treatment provided by Dr Herschman, his Physican's Assistant, Rebecca is outstanding! This facility boasted a clean and healthy environment for my friend to recover in. Well that was not the case. My friend stayed as long as he could dealing with a filthy living environment, and a bed bugs infestation. My friend had bites all over his body from these bed bugs, pics attached only to show a few. No exterminators were called to deal with this issue regardless of him reporting to them numerous sores all over his body from the bed bugs. Staff was not helpful when this was brought to their attention...nor were they caring or compassionate. Staff was not consistent at all, they had a huge turnover rate of employees which isn't helpful to a patient at all. They also boast a 12 step program, but they don't follow through with any adequate, professional, or therapeutic care. Once they get you into their program all that matters to them is billing your suffering loved ones insurance provider. Please do your loved ones a favor and find another facility that will actually treat their addiction issues with adequate and appropriate care.

I was the personal assistant to the CEO, of The Palms Recovery, family (Jim and Victoria Lopker). I…read morealso did office work for them at The Palms Recovery, but mostly for them at their family home. After 3 months I decided this wasn't the job for me and gave notice and that I would finish the day. Mind you I'm supposed to be in training, but on that particular day I'm laying laminate floor in the master bedroom of their home! We agreed I would be part time for training and once completed I would be full time. On Friday May 28th I submitted my hours and receipts for groceries I purchased for the family and the laminate floor I purchased for the families master bedroom at $1.49 square foot with my credit card. YEAP, we installed laminate flooring that cost $1.49 a square foot in a million dollar home! Total receipts and hourly pay due to me comes to $1590 that I still have not been paid for (it's now 2 weeks) After several email attempts I was sent a list of the tasks I worked on, both at the house and at The Palms Recovery and asked to explain what was done and or left off. Mind you I sent all this information as I worked on these tasks including all spreadsheets. But I answered all Victoria's questions. Then I get a reply from Victoria Lopker stating once the research my work they will submit payment! Seriously! Oh wait... there's more. When working at the home I was cleaning 2 glass pendant lights over the kitchen island. While holding the light with one hand and cleaning it with the other each of my hands had contact with metal and I got electrocuted! Obviously the lights blew. I sent an email to the family explaining what happened... no reply, never did they ask if I was ok! Obviously these lamps were not properly grounded during installation. That is the only way someone would be electrocuted if they touched the metal parts of the lamp with both hands. Victoria Lopker also stated in her last email to me that she will deduct the cost of the lamps from my pay since I "broke them" as she claims. I'll keep you all posted as to how they handle my last payment. OH by the way, there are 3 other people that work at the Lopker home, all getting paid under the table, one is an 11 year old child! I'll be curious what the DOL will have to say when I call on Monday, or DCF when I report another matter I noticed while working at the home! I'll keep you posted!
