I contacted Lewis about mowing the lawns on my property and trimming back the bushes. Initially they responded with a great rate and I asked when they'd be available so we could do a walk through of my property. After radio silence for days, I get a text at 8pm on the 4th of July saying no tour is needed and they'll show up at the end of the week with a crew. I responded that I was very uncomfortable with that arrangement because I don't have a square postage stamp yard and I wanted a walk through before any work was done. They then backed out of the job altogether and told me they were canceling mowing services after this year anyway because "there's not enough money in it for us." I found the whole experience incredibly frustrating and disappointing. read more

Brad Lewis' company has been our go to for several years now. Generally for spring clean up and some yard work too big for us to handle. We have also used him for lawn mowing when we are away and recently snow removal in December when we had issues with our own snow blower. He helped us out in a pinch and we really appreciated that. The best thing about Brad and his crew is that he comes when he says he will, provides an on the spot estimate which always matches the bill, communicates via email regarding the date the work will be done, and follows through. Years ago (many) I could handle lawn care. Not no more. I've been using Brad's company now for over ten years. Mainly for spring cleanup. This year we needed a fall visit. I am a homeowner in Troy, NY. I had a HUGE masonry job that I needed completed. When I say huge I mean: rip up and remove 1100+ sq ft of wood floors dig down 3.5+ feet along a whole corner of my basement 5ft one way; 7ft another way rebuild all 3 layers of brick wall and tie them into the existing 3 layers of brick walls pour 3 new concrete footings pour a whole new 4in concrete slab over a span of over 1100 sq ft and tie it into the existing 1 inch slab dig 2 ft down and 1 foot out the entire side of my house approximately 55ft reset any and all loose bricks that entire length, parge that whole area tar that whole area before laying crush run; waterproof membranes; and a whatever else goes into a French drain...the drain runs the entire length of the house again approx..55ft he added dirt in places to grade any and all water away from the house ALL THIS WAS DONE BY HAND, there was no place to get major tools in. I am NOT an easy person to deal with, I ask a ton of questions, I want everything in writing, I want warranties, I want the writing in detail, I want proof of insurance, etc this man answered every single question, put everything in writing in detail multiple times, gave me written warranty, produced proof of insurance.... every single hula hoop I had him jump through he did....AND HIS PRICE WAS THE BEST... Now let's talk his work...it was AMAZING....neat, cleanly, great quality, his work is level and thorough. He met his timeline, he came in on budget- not a penny more, at the end of everyday the space was cleaned and neat with no hazards or dangers to anyone in the home, was there promptly every am and worked all day.... A real stand up honest person from what I have encountered and seen. THIS COMPANY GETS AN "A" RATING FROM ME, they are truly professional and offer superior workmanship! I will most definitely be using them again!! I am NOT related to or affiliated with anyone at this company. I found them on google. They were one of OVER 20 companies contacted, they were the only ones able to answer my questions and handle a job of this size. read more

Brad has done a number of landscaping jobs for me over the years, from dropping off a load of mulch to assigning me a couple of young guys to do the heavy lifting on a stone wall I wanted to install.
