Edwin came out the same day, assessed the damage, and got the door safely back on track and operating again. He was completely transparent about the situation. One of the metal panels is dented and would need to be replaced, but since the model is discontinued, he explained my options and reassured me that the door was now safe to use and no longer a hazard. I really appreciated his honesty--he didn't try to upsell me or pressure me into unnecessary repairs. In a world where it's hard to know who to trust, Edwin showed integrity, professionalism, and genuine kindness. When the time comes for any future garage door repairs or replacement, Quality Door Service will absolutely be my first call. Thank you again, Edwin!

I rarely write reviews, but Bob's Quality Door Service absolutely earned a 5-star rating…read more From my first call and text, Bob was incredibly responsive and professional. Before scheduling a service call, he even suggested a few troubleshooting steps I could try myself at no charge in hopes of resolving the issue and saving me money. When that didn't work, he arranged for a technician to come out the very same day. I was given a two-hour service window, and the technician called about 45 minutes beforehand to let me know he could arrive about 30 minutes early. He was friendly, professional, and understood that I was working under a time constraint. The technician diagnosed the problem within minutes, had the necessary part on his truck, and completed the repair in about 20 minutes--finishing before my scheduled service window even began. He was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and took the time to explain everything clearly. What impressed me most was that neither Bob nor the technician tried to upsell me on anything. In fact, they seemed genuinely focused on finding the most cost-effective solution and saving me money whenever possible. Excellent communication, prompt service, honest pricing, and quality work. This was truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Bob's Quality Door Service.

I said wow and that it was only $400 to install but ok and I was sent a canned text message to my phone to send 4 pictures, measurements, and contact info. I sent them everything but didn't hear back until the next day and it was the same canned text verbiage back but they added the email address. So I sent the same thing again to the email address, 6 pictures, measurements and contact info. Crickets and tumble weeds for two days again. So I resent the email and a couple of days later finally the next day, Then finally, I get the same canned message telling me to email them 4 pictures, measurements and contact info. Now I am getting worried that all my training as a CSR at AT&T's U-verse department has gone by the way side. However, I still needed my door fixed and besides they had installed it when I first got it and I knew that they would surely stand by their install. However, they never told me what they weren't getting, me I could not tell what was the problem because it all went through without bouncing back and they would only answer in canned responses and not tell me what I might have forgotten or didn't go through my message. So after checking everything out, all looked well and it had been a week now without a front door, I sent it again. A couple of days later, i get another canned message to send them 4 pictures, measurements and contact info. So I sent it two more times from different email addresses thinking that maybe it's Google's fault. After not hearing again from them, I went back to texting them and explaining that I had not a clue as to what they weren't getting from my emails but that I knew that they were receiving them because I got the same canned messages back twice out of the six time that I sent it to them but they never took the time to tell me what was missing the pictures? measurements? Contact info? or what? So I finally get a personalized message with the following excuses, Excuse one: He texted back that they were on an emergency install. Excuse two: he texted me back to say that they get 40 text messages a day and they just get lost. Excuse three: finally a personalized email comes back saying that he was playing catch up after a family emergency but it would be $500. I don't know if he really had three different excuses but I got three after two weeks of not having a front door. I almost answered his email back to say that I was so very sorry about his family emergency and hope that everything was alright. But a friend stopped me and asked why was I apologizing, I didn't do anything wrong and like she said, at this point it did sounded like a scam. I was willing to pay the $500 estimate for a job that he said he never saw my emails because he lost my text messages, and/or was too busy to acknowledge my emails to explain what was missing because of an emergency install and/or the family emergency. Stick to one excuse and it might have been more believable. So there you have it folks, plenty of excuses and no door after two weeks made me decide that if it was a communication problem before the work started, I figure it was not going to get any better after the work started. So I called Doors Svc of Houston and they had the front door fixed by noon the next day and fixed my patio door handle while they were there too. I got two doors repaired for $300 less than The Door Guys were to fix just the one door.

Friday, I received a text from David. He communicated with me that he was running a bit late and what his ETA would be. I appreciated the text message as I was coming from my own home and had to head over to my mother's house. David & Andrew arrived promptly as stated the time. David went through the process with me and asked me to choose the color stain (he also helped). He stated how long it was going to take them. The whole process was a smooth transaction. Andrew assisted David and helped him take the door down and cover the front door with plastic. I notice how closely they worked together and how very commutative they were to each other. They were the true meaning teamwork makes the dream work! I was very pleased with their work, but most importantly my mother was extremely excited about her brand-new refinished door! I highly recommend Sturdy Doors to anyone. If you are able to request certain employees, please request David & Andrew. Soft spoken, efficient work, and commutative. I will be using them in the future and recommend them if any asks. I cannot thank you enough, Julian, David & Andrew!

Shopping for new windows can be stressful for an ordinary homeowner. There is a lot of information…read moreto read, many variables to keep in mind, and many companies to compare. Once you begin researching, it can get overwhelming very quickly. Before choosing Guardian Windows, I spent a lot of time researching different window companies and comparing what they offer. Based on my experience, Guardian Windows checks the boxes that matter: quality product, professional installation, reasonable pricing, and respectful customer service. Guardian Windows is a small family business managed by Marty and his son Robert. From the first interaction, you can tell they value your time and your business. They explain their product clearly, answer questions, and provide a fair price without aggressive sales tactics. Another thing I really appreciate is that they have their own installation crew, which is not always common in this price range. The crew, led by Jose, treated my house with care, installed everything professionally, and cleaned up the debris inside and outside once the job was done. The new windows look like they have always been part of the house. The windows themselves feel sturdy and well-made. They made of a premium vinyl and have strong energy-efficiency features. I also chose the sound-reduction package with an STC rating of 33. They are made in Texas with the Texas climate in mind. I'm genuinely happy with my experience and with the final result. If you are doing your own research before making a major investment in your home, I highly recommend giving Guardian Windows a serious look. Based on my experience, these guys will take good care of you.
