I will admit, our visits are primarily during football season but that being said, I imagine that nothing changes throughout the year. Food, all great. There was no clear signage about the holiday pricing, save for a single TV screen flashing ads too quickly to read. I saw the $20 advertisement on Facebook but am not on Instagram and that was the only place I found (two days later) the advertisement for the price for Father's Day. To make matters worse, the food quality was awful. Everything tasted like it had been sitting there for hours burning in the pans heated below by gas warmers. The biscuits were rock hard, the slider buns were completely dried out, and the bacon was burnt. The pancakes were stale and hard and the pasta/macaroni salad had been sitting out in an uncooled bowl with no lid. I couldn't even finish a plate because of the poor quality. Paying $160 for four people to eat a meal of this quality was completely unacceptable. I've had much better food McDonald's than this. Had the food quality at least matched the price, I likely never would have left this review. This ruined our family celebration, and although this was the first time we ever tried this place, we will not be returning to here again.

I personally like the C'est La Vie wines the best, the Vienza architecture and grounds the best, and then I like Bolero most for eating (and having drinks) in the VIP lounge. They each have their own appeal. What gets overlooked is the staff. I feel like I'm going to Cheers when I go there. Everyone knows me. Special shout out to their best employees, starting with my faves Rebecca - always happy and chipper, awesome conversation and customer service. Preston - very chill and has an understated sense of humor that I really like, great service too. Elijah - makes me feel like we've been great friends for 20 years. Dr. Doug - the best wine server in the Bolero VIP lounge. Rachael - will sit and engage with you for as long as you want, on any topic that you want. Others who are really awesome: L'ree, Gaby, Juan, and Josh (food server). All these guys always customize pours to what they know I love, and they always take care of my guests really well. This year we got the usual great lineup but instead of the DIY style show in a parking lot, Professor Vic moved it to the Cathedral. Located right off Garey, The Cathedral is tough to miss. There's plenty of street parking on Center St and there's also a small parking lot across the street. This used to be a YMCA but it looks like an old church with dark wood flooring, high ceilings and stained glass windows. A very cool venue. How did it sound? Loud. Extremely loud. They also had a huge video board which gave each band a little extra hot sauce. There were a couple of bars in the back and you could also order food. It's air conditioned in there but between the heat (100+ outside at the time) and the amount of bodies inside, it was at least bearable. Mosh for Youth was great as always and while I loved the DIY ethos in the past this felt like a leap forward. The sound, look and venue made this feel big time. I hope future MFY shows take place here...until they maybe outgrow this place too, which would mean more scholarships for the kids. Highly recommended!
