I'd seen a random Facebook post saying the best trivia was with Chris, Wednesday's at the shamrock so here we are. We came for the good times and decided to make a girls night of it and have dinner and drinks too. The website says reservations recommended, I'd say more like required if you think you're coming. Every single table and barstool in the place was taken. Sean was our server and immediately we were having a great time with him. He's really awesome and super friendly. There were so many things on the menu that sounded amazing. Between us girls we each ordered something different to eat so we had a nice variety. The portions are huge! My meatloaf was so freaking good, the picture did not do it justice at all. My friends got sliders, corned beef and cabbage and a chicken caeser salad, which they all liked as well. Although this place was super busy from the trivia the service was fast and drinks as well as refills came quickly. Food took a bit of time as to be expected. The trivia was great just as everyone had mentioned and I'm glad we decided to check it out. Thursdays is Bingo also with Chris and since grandma hobbies are right up my alley it looks like I will be spending a lot of time at the Shamrock now. read more

I swing by here about twice a month coming back from Costco. Always pleasantly surprised by the food. The chicken & cranberry, reuben, blackened shrimp tacos --- all good. Never had bad food here. Service is where they really shine. The wait staff are a lot of fun, esp the blonde british lady. Pours on shots of Jameson are very decent, too. Best Irish pub around. read more

Here's the revised version with that change: We had never been to Shamrock Irish Bar & Eatery before, but we had heard great things. My older son, Kobe, has become obsessed with the Premier League, so we were excited to find a place to watch the World Cup matches. Our friends invited us to watch England play, and we were blown away by the atmosphere! The excitement in the room was contagious, and everyone was so friendly. Our server, Natalie, was amazing--so kind, attentive, and welcoming. Another server also took great care of us, and although I can't remember her name, she was just as wonderful. Since then, we've been coming back to watch all of our other favorite teams play, and every visit has been just as enjoyable. We even had the chance to meet the owner, who was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Whether you're looking to grab a drink, watch a sporting event, or just hang out with friends, I highly recommend Shamrock. I was absolutely blown away by the high quality food they serve at Shamrock. I have no idea why it took me 10+ years of living in the area/coming to this pub to finally try the food... phenomenal - I will be trying more dishes here in the near future especially after discovering that their burgers are top notch! What a great Pub. Irish music greets you as soon as you walk in the door. The crowd is friendly and boisterous. We stopped in for a Bloody Mary after a Morning of shopping. Kelsey was our mixologist today, she is friendly and makes a great cocktail. We had an order of their tasty fried green beans. Great pairing with a Bloody Mary. I wish I could give something more than 5 stars. I'm very traditional when it comes to a place that boasts about being a "pub". I think it's more about the feeling than the decor and/or food. If you're looking for a local haunt to become your go-to place, I recommend The Shamrock. Our waiter, Danny, was the coolest guy ever. He treated us like family and that's so rare these days. Most of the time when you say "treated me like family" it means they didn't treat you very well. My paternal grandmother was from the Cassidy clan and she always used to talk about how the Irish just do everything better and I didn't know what she meant until I came to Shamrock. read more

This place is always a fun time! We have stopped in several times in the past year and we enjoyed every time! Our first visit was during the Dueling Piano Night and they were fantastic!!! Playing hits from the 80's and 90's. Another time we stopped in during Super Bowl and all their TV screens were highlighting the game. The hosts are always making it fun and the food menu has a good mix of Irish dishes and a little bit of American. Their shepherds pie was flaky and tasty, fish and chips are one of my favorites, the Irish egg rolls were different yet really good and their short rib poutine was awesome! It's always a 5 star experience here. I LOVE shamrock, it's like a home away from home feeling at this establishment... Justin (the manager) makes the effort to ensure that everyone has a grand time, and recognizes the locals as well as the newcomers... but in a sense, it's always a feeling of an "all good and relaxed time" here. We are whiskey lovers, and they have an exquisite collection of whiskies which they are glad to introduce and educate customers on. To top it all off, their food is consistently AMAZING! Went for the dueling pianos specifically. Had never been to this neighborhood Irish bar before. Friend made a reservation for four at 7 PM. We were sat immediately. The staff was warm and inviting, and was constantly checking up on us. Between the two couples, we shared one of their hamburgers without a bun, their Dublin sliders, which are their corned beef sliders, and fish and chips and a big side salad. Their food was really top-notch for bar food . The bar was super cute inside although the tables and chairs were so close together. you felt like you were eating with new friends. We got here at 9:30pm on a Thursday night and the place looked popping- it was karaoke night so there were still a decent amount of customers. We sat down at a table excited to order food and because I was really craving some shepherds pie and we were absolutely starving. We sat at our tables ignored by all the employees for about 15 minutes before my husband went up to the bar to try to place our order. To our horror, their kitchen was closed and they were perfectly content to let us sit there waiting at our table. I can't speak for the food since I never got to order any but 1 star for the service and terrible experience. read more

I used to go there with my wife and have a pretty good time. The food is what it is. What can I say. It's kinda hit and miss now. But sadly I'll have to stay clear of this place. I was confronted by a younger employee who seemed to be off work. It was very alarming what was being said to me and I scrambled to get my bill and escape!
