My friends and I were out on the town when we stumbled upon this tasting room on a Saturday night. On a Saturday night this felt like the perfect place to celebrate my friend's birthday with live music and dancing. We were especially interested as we were so warmly welcomed by a staff member who came out and greeted us and the guest encouraging us to dance with them. We felt like we were party it up with family!!!! The music was amazing! The singers were so impressive! Plus we enjoyed the wine to complement the music. La Fata is a nice option for wine tasting while in Old Town Temecula. They have a good selection of white and red wines to choose from. Their wines are a bit pricey. Best deal is to go on Wednesday when they offer $10 a glasses. Then stay a while for Karaoke which starts at 5pm. It's a good time! The tasting room is smallish, through easily accommodated our group of about 20 people. It's comfortable with different seating options to choose from. Relax on a couch, choose a high table, or sit at the bar. They have some snacks to buy there, or bring your own munchies. Meredith was our awesome server on the Wednesday we went with our big group. Our women's wine group enjoyed a special seated tasting at beautiful La Fata Cellars in Old Town on a recent Friday late morning. It was my first visit to this wine bar and I loved the warm, welcoming ambiance with its chic decor and an amazing selection of wines to match. Vito LaFata regaled us with the stories behind the wines and som Manu educated us with some tasting tips. I enjoyed all five of the wines tasted, with the 2021 Wealth of Connection (blend of Cab Franc, Cab Sauv & Barbera) being my fav. As me and my friends were walking around Old Town Temecula, we were just seeing what was around and stumbled upon this place. Probably the best thing we did. Live Music was playing and we grabbed a couch section to sit. Jesse, the Wine ambassador, served us and boy did he serve. He made our experience one to remember. He spent the time to get to know our palates and as we did a tasting, he built upon out taste, serving what he knew we would enjoy. He brought the history of the wines, and the humor as well. He knows his stuff. Jesse gave us a experience that we felt was one that only you can get at some exclusive event. I recommend coming here. Wines are good. Service is great. This was my first stop in Temecula. We were walking outside and the live entertainment drew me in. I decided to do a tasting and I'm so glad I did. I had a 5 tasting flight. I thought the price was very reasonable. $35 for 5 is a good deal. I really enjoyed the wine as well. I'm a Cab girl and I was very delighted with the Wealth of Connection and the Roots of life. I highly recommend this wine bar if you are ever out in Temecula. I have visited many wineries in Napa, and for being here for the first time, I truly enjoyed my tasting. First and foremost, I have never been a wine lover. The only wine I do like is Moscato, lol. I stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon with my bestie to hear my friend spin for an hour or two. It was super chill, and the place was very nicely decorated. Bestie and I sat, drank, and caught up on life. Vito, the owner of LA Fata Cellars, was kind enough to let me taste one of the white wines (I told him I can't really hang with the reds)! Anna's Breath is tasty indeed. It has notes of apple, caramel, honeysuckle, and pear. I liked it a lot! I then tried a glass of the Awakened Joy, as Vito suggested when I told him my name. It's similar to Anna's Breath because of the pear and honeysuckle. It also boasts mango, apple, and lemon grass. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is sure to please your palate! I didn't have any trouble finding parking since I got lucky. Someone right in front of the establishment left, haha! There's always street parking in Old Town Temecula if you're willing to look for a spot. Otherwise, hit the parking garage about 3 blocks away. The pricing is average, and they do offer membership here. I like that this tasting room is small enough to explore/enJOY, unlike the big wineries out in Temecula Wine Country. The cozy, intimate setting is perfect if you're looking to have a nice glass of wine by yourself or with good company. I highly recommend La Fata Cellars if you want to keep it low-key, but still want to feel fancy and have some fine wine! La Fata Cellars is THE reason to visit Temecula Old Town, and Jesse Cruz is THE reason to visit La Fata. He was charming and generous - generous with his pour, but better yet, generous with sharing his deep knowledge of wines. First he took time to get to know each of us and our individual taste preferences, then expanded our taste boundaries with carefully selected tastings that he tailored to each. If we occasionally had negative feedback, he immediately tossed that wine, kindly inquired what we did not like about it and poured a new glass. To his credit, he remembered all four of our names (and the dog's name) after our introductions! (And gave the dog water!) The ambience of La Fata is modern, warm and inviting, whether lounging on a sofa, settling into an arm chair, or seated at the bar. And the bathroom was spotless, an often overlooked measure of respect for their guests. The education about my own taste buds that I had never been able to articulate before was full value for the cost of the tasting! I will return. read more

When you walk in the location is quaint and warm feeling. The staff and owner were friendly. The red wines here are quite frankly better than most of the other wineries in Temecula. I will say they are very pricey though. Unless you are a member, most of the wines are $80 or more. read more

Cute little place...beautiful interior and decor, but it is the wine that makes it! The place itself is beautiful and romantic, a wonderful stop for my wife and I while up in Temecula. All that said there don't expect "two buck chuck" here -- the wine is tremendous, and that means the prices are reflective of the quality. This is the first time I have seen my wife enjoy a white wine, enough that we bought a bottle! The reds were certainly awesome as well. I am not enough of a wine guy to give you all the great rundown; I will just say our favorite white is the Pillars and Principles, and our favorite red was Freedom of Life, although we got the Path to Promise instead because we liked it a tiny bit less but it was 40% off :). If we were more local I could see this as an awesome regular place and a great move to be in the club--alas we are rare visitors. They also had great live music while we were there on a Saturday afternoon. They even have Karaoke on Wednesday nights and that is likely to bring us an hour up to Temecula and a night somewhere just for that! But perhaps the most enjoyable part was talking with Vito himself (the owner). He's a wonderful, gregarious soul and loves to tell the family stories, about the wines and otherwise.
