Fully walked into the bathroom, could see the band across teh workshop, and then walked back out thinking there was a back door until we saw the mirror open and felt like absolute fools Inside the lounge it was quite cozy without feeling cramped. The decor and lighting were exceptionally curated, and just overall it was an incredible space, great for hanging out with small groups. The bar staff were all knowledgeable and efficient in their service. The band playing was incredible on the semi-outdoor enclosed patio (there were heaters so was quite comfortable), and jsut overall was quite fun. Prices are a tad on the higher side but that is to be expected with a speakeasy and cocktails. Would definitely recommend and will try to return for any of their offerings, whether it be just the lounge or even a glass blowing class.

I ordered clay online as well and the website was clear about relevant delays and the reasons why- including certain ingredients being harder to access or changes to formulations. There are similar delays to much larger websites, and this local business feels like a better use of money. The person who helped me was friendly and available for my questions without making me feel pressured to buy anything. I will keep coming back for KY Mudworks brand clays (especially Iceman and Sheltowee) and glazes (their clear glaze is flawless, and Sequoia is another favorite).

The instructor gives easy to follow step by step instructions. You are also free to modify the painting to your own preferences. Adult beverages are available for purchase. Fun music plays in the background while you paint. I wore old clothes but didn't get any paint on me. You are provided an apron to wear and a place to store items away from the painting area. I am a terrible painter but I honestly made the best painting of my life here. Ashley made the experience fun and looked to my strengths to give me advice on what I could do better. She gave me different tools throughout the process to help me accomplish the look I was going for. One of the best things about this place as well is that if you don't finish in your first visit you can come back at certain times and have full access to their resources and advice even if it takes a couple times of coming back to do so. Coming here gave me confidence in my ability to actually paint well and it was not stressful at all during the process.
