I knew it wasn't going to be able to make it back home so I started looking for tow companies to tow me home. I read about a few but they didn't seem what I was looking for so I called Holbrook Towing. The truck was there in a matter of minutes. Mike did an awesome job of towing me home without damaging my car and was very reasonable with the price. I made sure to get one of the business cards so if I need to be towed again I know who to call. I highly recommend!!!

The guy came and he claimed he was an ASE certified mechanic. He wanted to see first what was wrong with my car and he kind of bashed me a lot on my car brand and other brands I knew of. He basically told me that GM was trash, Hyundai was trash, and Nissan was trash. The best cars were Dodge, Ford, and Toyota. Idk...I have done my own research and I found Hyundai and Nissan to have like no recalls against them. Maybe he thought I said Honda? He did have an accent...haha Anyway, he got the job done and assured me that Firestone on Paul Jones Way was a good place to take my car to (I already told him I would want to take my car there upon his arrival). I am so glad they are open on Sundays as well! Price tag for the tow was $115, much cheaper than Bluegrass Towing. --------------------------------------------------------------------- One thing I found shady about this towing business was the fact that the individual who towed me had to call the gal, I had called, to give her my credit card information to pay off the bill. I had asked for a receipt and he stated that she would send it. How was she going to send it if she never had my email? She never asked for it when I had made the appointment. This is why I suggest that this business go to square or any other type of app that can take credit cards while the individual is towing in the field. It is way more convenient. I am monitoring my credit card closely to make sure it stays at the $115 amount.

I cannot stress how helpful, prompt and professional the gentleman was! From making sure that my children and I were safe and away from the road, to making sure that we made it back to Frankfort safely. This towing service was assigned to help me with a roadside service issue. I got a text saying that…read morethe provider (Mikes) was on their way to my vehicle, so I went and parked near it and waited.....and waited........and waited for nearly 2 hours. I finally called the roadside assistance customer service back, and they informed me that Mikes hauling and towing service had canceled the order without even telling me. They told her to "call back in 10 minutes and see if we can do it." Now remember I've been waiting for TWO HOURS thinking they were coming. My vehicle was running the entire time with the a/c on, so I ran out all kinds of expensive gas thinking Mikes was on their way. I had my son with me so I eventually left, while at the same time I'm sitting on hold for over an hour while they try to find me another towing service. It was thee worst experience after a long day at work.
