Nestled in the mountains, this vineyard provides a gorgeous backdrop. The wine was good, I'm no wine pro- I just know I don't like sweet wines. Everyone who was part of hosting us was very helpful. The bathrooms were located in the building at the top of the way. They also have sheep on their property. They minded their own business, but they were cute to look at.

Along with wine tastings, Ecco Adesso offers their 350 acre farm as a place to explore the vineyards, hiking trails, meadows, orchards, waterfalls and creeks that are on the grounds. I got a wine flight, which included four 2-ounce pours. There are four flights to choose from, and I chose the Old World/New World flight, which had two Chardonnays and two Cabernet Francs. I'm not a Chardonnay person at all, but I'm 100% a Cab Franc person. It turns out, I really loved the Chardonnay! Who'd-a known. That's the great thing about doing a flight: You can try something new and maybe discover something about yourself along the way. I enjoyed my wine flight on the big porch outside of the winery. The porch overlooks the beautiful grape vineyards, and it's a picturesque sight to behold for sure. The porch has big rocking chairs, so you can sit and sip and rock and stare at the scenery. I found that the people who work here were incredibly friendly and helpful. At one point, I wanted to try a little taste of a different wine that wasn't on my flight, and they didn't even blink and just gave me a pour. So nice!

What I tried: Gruner Veltiner: German grape you don't see often. Nice citrus notes; I almost bought a bottle but got distracted by... 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon: 90% cab sav with some tannat. Overall medium tannin although the Tannat gave it some bite at the end. 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon: 100%, very nice body & complexity. I'll drink this in another year or two. "Livia" red blend: Primarily refosco w/ Cab Franc. I almost bought a bottle, but settled for a bottle of the last two. But I did enjoy a glass.

The setting was exceptional: perched beside the cidery with a pasture stretching out nearby, it had that perfect mix of open space and laid-back charm. For a first outing, I don't have much to compare it to, but it's hard to imagine a better start. Connectivity was surprisingly excellent--we were pulling 5G UW, which felt like a small miracle and made everything easier. The location couldn't have been more convenient, with trails, venues, and restaurants all close at hand. The cidery itself offered around two dozen options, and the Imperial Peach quickly became our go-to libation. And yes, they've got a happy hour at the cidery--and you already know that's my favorite time of day. Within three miles, you've got IGA, the ABC store, and Beltie's, while Devil's Backbone sits right across the street. The on-site BBQ Beast delivered exactly what you'd hope for--no surprises, just solid, satisfying fare. We lucked into something special during our stay, landing right in the middle of a migration path. One morning alone brought the sights and sounds of over 25 bird species--nature putting on a full show. All told, it's a fantastic place to boondock. I truly enjoyed the Malbec, especially accompanied with the steak dinner I had that evening. Service here is great and they have a vast array of wine selections! They have 3 different rooms just filled with wine from wall to wall. I would absolutely return again whenever I visit Lexington again in the future. Highly recommend!

There is not a lot of parking spaces and some folks were parking on the road as you drive up to the beer room. There are a few indoor seats, a covered patio with seating, and then outdoor seating with umbrellas at the tables. There was a duet playing live music on the day we were there and they were pretty good. The beer was ok- I had a pilsner. My wife got a blend of white wine, which she really enjoyed. They had a beer truck on site the day we were there. This spot is also dog friendly. Pro tip for this place if you want to stay for a sunset- bring your own chairs and you can sit up on the ridge facing the sunset. Several groups brought their own food and were sitting out on the ridge. We will definitely go back later in the day for a sunset.

We had…read morejust finished our hike around the resort in the AM and this location was about 10 min drive away from the resort and 5 mins from the warm pool. Very cute location and be sure to look out for the signs. It was quite windy that weekend so the signs were blown over but easily found our way to the taste room. The main floor was very spacious and rustic. As mentioned earlier, my friend made reservations, paid the deposit, and for the cheese board ahead of time. (I'd recommend doing this ahead of time if you are visiting out of town.) It did take a while for us to get the cider started, but we looked over their options and decided on the cider flight. This cidery was definitely unique and different because this cider is actually dry. I'm used to the sweeter cider side but this cidery was dry and crisp. The cheese plate was attractive and delish. The ONLY thing I would suggest is...less blue cheese. I have nothing against blue cheese, but it was sure a big slice and my friends cannot say no to cheese. hahaha. Overall, definitely worth the stop and the place is adorable! Oh, if you get the chance, go upstairs to their attic. It was gigantic and unique.
