Rather than having veggies mixed in with the noodles, it was topped with them. It was also sweet, so I would recommend using the pickled banchan dishes to mitigate the sweetness. My boyfriend also thought his beef japchae was really sweet, too -- even the beef marinade. He wasn't the biggest fan.
