We had a great lunch here today. The service was great, there's a wide variety of drinks, and our burgers were big and tasty! We'll be back!

Good pizza, cold beer, and I dig the new bar layout. But please start hiring experienced bartenders who aren't scared of the customers.

It was far from the limited menu and "See here is our brewery equipment" place. Researching their website, we were convinced this was the place to be on our "chasin' racin'" weekend. My companion noticed that the clientele was quite diverse. I noted that also. We both agreed it was a sign of a thriving establishment. Autumn was our server and she was a lot of fun. Conversant, knowledgeable of the menu, and attentive, she was just great. One of my sides was a Caesar Salad. It was copious to the point that I could not finish it when it was appropriately brought out ahead of time. As a diabetic, I am concerned about carbs, but the Alaskan Whitefish grabbed me . While my plate was messy, I peeled off the coating and enjoyed the nice tender fish inside. In Tennessee, corn pudding is different than what they brought me, but it was wonderful. Bread pudding of the day was S'mores. I had my fill, brought home the rest and my family loved it. Local history was abundant. The menu held an article on local history and the lobby had many historic photos of local interest. I took many photos of them for remembrance. Chances are I will never return to Kokomo. But if I do go back. This is where I will dine.

I will never recommend anyone going there and will never return myself. Not to mention, they will overserve anyone until completely inebriated and let them get in a vehicle. The karaoke is outdated trash. Idk if they serve food, but if they do, the place is so gross, i can't imagine it being safe to eat. Someone needs to take it from the current owners, fire every single employee, gut the place, and start over. It makes the hair on my neck stand up even thinking about it. I have never been able to go out again and cut loose since I was drugged here. It literally was the worst experience I've had in a bar and Ive worked in the industry for 20+ years. It's all hearsay, but when i tell people what happened to me at Himark, usually they know someone else it's happened to there, including men. Something needs done.

That's not the real reason Yelp exists. In my opinion, it exists to fairly and without prejudice evaluate businesses. Having only walked into this bar one time, I can't fairly share a review. Yes, the ONE STAR is a review but I'd rather say that it's a starting point. We were not provided good service and it would be easy to only see this one visit as a permanent representation of this facility. I will go back again to see if the service is better and evaluate me review. Some take aways: You can smoke in this bar. They do not have table service/servers until sometime after 8PM. They do take most major credit cards.

One of my favorite memories from The District Tap actually started with a shirt…read more We were sitting on the patio overlooking Georgia Street on a Fever game day when a couple walked by wearing one of the coolest Caitlin Clark shirts we'd ever seen. We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. Sharing appetizers on a sunny patio, meeting fellow basketball fans from halfway around the world, and watching Indianapolis come alive before tipoff. It reminded me that sports have a funny way of turning complete strangers into friends. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're headed to Gainbridge.

Our server was friendly and responsive to one member of our group (male) but repeatedly didn't acknowledge another (female). This wasn't a one-time thing, it happened several times over the course of our visit, and it came across as dismissive. As for the drinks: beer prices were nice and cheap, but the margarita was on the expensive side and not really worth it. The place seems geared toward bigger dinner crowds, which may be why a two-person drinks-only table didn't get much attention, but being essentially ignored isn't a great look either way. We wouldn't return. 2/5.

We stopped in with a small group (11 of us) around 7:00p on a Friday and secured the last two tables available. The service was a tad slow from the get-go but when our waitress came around for drink orders it was firing it all cylinders! (I wish I could remember her name but she did say her sister owns the place) She was an absolute pro and took care of everything we could've asked for without hesitation. She was a treat! Oh, and I feel like she created their POS system b/c she knew how to make that thing bend to her will! The menu seems small but it is packed with all kinds of things that anyone would be able to find something. I went with the Mango Habanero wings and they were delicious! Someone else went with the Home Run sandwich and raved about it. Needless to say, everyone was more than happy with their orders! The dining room was also a pleasant experience. Not quiet but also not loud, the perfect amount of ambiance to feel like a typical sports bar (with more restaurant feel than bar). There are ample tables of all sizes and plenty of TVs, plus a jukebox (which was turned off for "dinner time", which was perfect). This place has been a hit with my "21+" family due to the great food, great location, and usually good service. Minors are not allowed. Our most recent visit yesterday had less than awesome service but maybe she was having a bad day. The building is old with lots of wood paneling ... very comfy. I love the small town feel!! The restaurant vibe reflects the town. Everyone is very welcoming. I didn't catch bartenders name, but she was very friendly to everyone at her bar. She told us her favorites on the menu. I appreciated her knowledge about the restaurant and the menu. The bar area seemed a little dark, but that actually enhanced the experience of an old bar. We only sat in the bar area, I believe there is additional seating in another room, but I didn't look. I opted for a grilled tenderloin and a cup of beer cheddar jalapeño cheese soup. The sandwich's are Ala carte. The sandwich was bigger than I expected, that would have been enough for lunch. The trick with grilled tenderloin is that many times it is over cooked, so it is dry. This was cooked to perfection; cooked but still moist. The sandwich, with the "garden" was awesome. Now to the soup. I think she said they use wee Mac as the beer. The jalapeño was puréed. There was crispy bacon crumbled on top; I did not care for the bacon. The soup was odd to me as I was eating it. Because of the texture, it reminded me of corn chowder. There was a little spice/flavor from the jalapeño. What was odd to me, was it didn't wow me like I thought it would, but I kept eating it. So in the end, I think I really liked it bc I ate all of it!!! The menu is not large, but has a good variety for its size. The desserts were impressive, I just didn't have room for it. I could easily become a regular there!!
