Glad to have Mini of Edison near me.

Everyone is always happy and that's important to me when I enter any business. Remember the mini code and wave at others. That's how it feels when you walk in, you feel as part of the mini culture. The service walls need more then just paint. Get creative and get my attention or I'll lose my excitement as I sit there.

    LOVE mini coopers!!

HIGHLY IMPRESSED with our service here! I initially called here and spoke with the 1st person that picked up the phone whose name was "Mike". I told him what my mother was looking for and that I was trying to help her to purchase the right car. HOWEVER, I also told him that she can be very challenging and nervous when it comes to aggressive sales people. He was very understanding, set up an appt for us to come in and even gave me the green light to text if we had any additional questions or wanted to change the appointment time. Once we got there, Mike was very accommodating in showing us the vehicles that I picked out for my moms. Actually, from the moment we stepped into the dealership, EVERYONE was very nice and welcoming from the greeter all the way up to the managers behind the desk. We took a look at a few cars, although initially my moms didn't like the car that was picked out-once she drove it she was convinced and purchased the car! Once she decided to move forward on the purchase, Jeffrey (finance manager) set the expectations with payments and other benefits that was sold with the car. Afterwards, Justin (genius) helped us with the features and answered any questions we might've had. Even afterwards, when Justin left we had additional questions and the other manager came out and helped us with the questions. Overall, it was a GREAT experience-one that I would recommend to anyone considering a Mini Cooper!

Best sales experience ever! Mini of Edison exceeded my expectations! Buying a car during COVID is rough, but Manny Rodriguez and Jake in finance made my experience easy and stress free. I got a great number for my 2014 Mini Countryman trade and got into a 2021 Mini 4 door hardtop. I can't say enough good things about this place. Oh and George in service is great too! I will definitely continue to be a Mini of Edison customer!

With mixed emotions I write this overall positive review…read more I was looking to purchase a used non-Nissan branded vehicle that I found online and saw at their dealership after passing by. Was almost the exact vehicle my wife and I were interested in purchasing and was mean to replace our current vehicle. The advertised price (in NJ) always seems to be a low price to drag you in and then you get hit with the $3-5k "dealer fees"... that's the game and you should always know this going in! Also, you need to know values, so do your homework, and know what your walk-away price is... Well, this "ain't" my first rodeo and I know how to "ride the Bull-s#%t". Luckily, we met a wonderful salesperson "Corey" who made the entire process tolerable and pleasurable. Due to him, we spent 4+ hours trying to get to a place to review, test drive, and close numbers on the car. Well, bottom line is, we couldn't get there. The entire deal came into play and with all variables, a trade-in, price of the vehicle, CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE, and after market warranties, we were just too far away. Could not close the distance, as I know what values were proper for my purchasing decision, and what other units are available elsewhere. Their pricing was ultimately very fair, just not the deal I was hoping to get. Again, I praise my salesperson, Corey, who was as disappointed as I was that I was not driving home in this new to me vehicle. The 2 major critiques that I am compelled to share are 1) They had this used vehicle for many weeks... it was very dirty... the rims were filthy and never washed for months from previous ownership... 2 run flat tires were at 24 PSI and one of them had a gash in it... no spare tire, that was supposed to be equipped with this car... oil spilled all over the engine cover (this is a Luxury SUV), carpet in trunk stained and also ruined in an area. The rear seat middle armrest cup holder compartment was glued shut! Same with the cigarette lighter in the front tray... could not get either of them to budge. Even the service manager couldn't. Also, a small hole in the leather on the door... None of these things were ever discussed, disclosed, and it was super disappointing to find the car in this condition. Otherwise, beautiful car. SUGGESTION: get some soap, sponges, water, and armor all and clean your vehicle BEFORE you advertise or show it. It costs zero to do that. That's why this place gets the 3, otherwise I would have given a 4 or 5. The above is the main reason I would NOT close the gap on the car. I was concerned there were more "hidden issues", whether known or unknown to this dealership. I wanted to hedge and protect myself... car was 4 years old and 41k. Should not have looked like that, as a luxury SUV. Hope this helps them and anyone considering shopping here. I recommend them. Just do your homework first and stick to your deal.

I purchased a vehicle from Edison Nissan and provided a $3,000 down payment using my debit card. When circumstances changed with my employment situation, I worked with the dealership regarding returning the vehicle. There was considerable confusion throughout the process. Initially, I was told the vehicle could be returned, only to be told otherwise after I arrived at the dealership. After additional discussions, the dealership ultimately regained possession of the vehicle, yet I have still not received my $3,000 down payment back. What has been most disappointing is not only the financial issue itself, but also the lack of communication and professionalism throughout the process. Corey Platte, the salesperson I worked with, has not responded to my messages requesting updates regarding the refund. Michael Small, the finance manager, was rude and disrespectful during our phone conversation and has not responded to my email asking about the status of my refund. Steve, the sales manager, was also disrespectful during our conversations as I attempted to resolve the situation and return the vehicle. I understand that not every transaction goes smoothly, and I recognize that this was likely an unpleasant situation for everyone involved. However, customer service matters most when problems arise. In my opinion, this situation could have been handled far more professionally, respectfully, and transparently. At the time of writing this review--more than a month later--Edison Nissan has possession of the vehicle, and I am still waiting for the return of my $3,000 down payment. Because of that, I cannot recommend this dealership. There are many Nissan and Infiniti dealerships available, and based on my experience, I would encourage prospective customers to consider those alternatives before doing business with Edison Nissan. I sincerely hope Edison Nissan chooses to resolve this matter promptly. If the refund issue is not addressed, I intend to pursue additional remedies through the appropriate consumer protection agencies and other available channels. I would have preferred to resolve this matter privately and leave a positive review. Unfortunately, my experience has not given me that opportunity.

I have never been to a dealership where they run your credit score first before you browse their car inventory. Why would they pick the car for my friend? Are they buying the car or is my friend buying the car? The salesman kept going to the back and said he needs to speak with the manager and was wasting our time. If he did not know anything then the manager should have come and spoken with us. They picked out a Honda Civic for my friend which had 11 major recalls, they patched up the holes in the tires, and they did not even know that it was in a car accident on the driver side. Overall: This dealership is one of the worse in the city. The customer service is horrible, and they are not knowledgeable of the cars. I suggest this dealership to provide training to all staff members and even the manager because this kind of customer service is not good for business.

While the buying process seemed smooth at first, everything went downhill afterward. I paid in full and was told the title would be processed and sent promptly. Instead, I waited **six months** without receiving the title. During that time, I had to repeatedly call and follow up, only to get vague answers and little to no accountability. It felt like once the sale was completed and they had my money, customer service no longer mattered. Buying a car outright should be the simplest type of transaction, yet this turned into a prolonged and stressful ordeal. Not having the title for that long created unnecessary complications and anxiety. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a used vehicle here -- especially a cash purchase -- to make sure you get clear, documented timelines and follow up aggressively. This experience was disappointing and unacceptable.

They told me I needed a new key--but before proceeding, I found my original key. At that point, instead of simply programming it, they informed me that my car now needed a new cluster. To investigate further, I brought in an independent programmer. He discovered that my ECU was from a completely different VIN, and my original cluster was burnt out with no communication. I then purchased a replacement cluster from a junkyard, but was told that to correctly program everything, at least one component (ECU or cluster) must be OEM and matching. Ultimately, the only option left was to delete the immobilizer, which the programmer successfully did. During this process, we also found that the module that reattaches to my cluster was physically broken--damage that occurred while the car was at the dealership. Even worse, it appears the dealership swapped out my ECU for one from another car. Whether this was negligence or intentional, the result is the same: my vehicle was returned to me in worse condition than when I brought it in. This dealership's actions caused unnecessary damage and confusion, and they attempted to push me into extremely expensive repairs that their own mishandling made necessary. I absolutely cannot recommend their service department and strongly advise others to use caution.
