The morning of, I received a call that my assigned therapist was out Ill, and one of the add-ons I wanted was not something the therapists working that day were able to do. They were kind to offer me another service if I'd like, or just skip it and try next time. I thought that was very kind for them to call me and inform me, rather than me finding out when I arrived. Also, they were very understanding and caring about my sensitivity to LED lights due to my brain injury and other conditions, and had the lights practically off when ai got there for my appointment, just to ensure I felt as comfortable as possible. The room was also very dimly lit as well. So very thoughtful and kind. All of the ladies were extremely kind and pleasant. Very welcoming. I truly felt appreciated for being there. I was listened to, and felt "heard". My therapist focused on what needed the most attention, and i think may have even put me to sleep a couple times. It was an absolutely incredible experience, and I'm so ready to go back. I'm telling you now, do NOT waste your money on those chain places like Massage envy or any of the others. They are crap compared to this place. The pricing here is absolutely reasonable and the service you receive is top notch.

Dr. Sayed with her staff performed a biopsy, she told me she was pretty sure it was a Squamous Cell but we wouldn't be sure until the results were back. They explained this would take seven to ten days. On the tenth day the office called me to confirm Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Less than one week later (today) Dr. Otchere removed growth and has sent it in to make sure it has all been removed. ALL of them were called and fully serviced ahead of me, some with stated appointment 15-30 minutes after mine. I confronted the receptionist on 2 occasions - 10.30 and again at 10.50 and was told each time I would be next. At 11.00am I got up and cancelled my appointment only to be told I was not there. What a joke. I was 10 feet in front of the receptionist for the full 60 minutes. Absolutely terrible experience and a poorly run office with zero customer service skills. Receptionist was pleasant but did not seem able to influence anybody.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance exuded tranquility and relaxation, setting the perfect tone for my pampering session. One aspect that truly stood out was the personalized approach taken by Ashley. She not only addressed my current skin issues but also provided valuable insights and recommendations for maintaining healthy skin in the long run. It's evident that she genuinely cares about her clients' well-being and strives to exceed their expectations. Bisous has a nice shopping area with everything from gemstone bracelets to skincare. I chose a pretty pearl Hamsa bracelet and the Colorescience eye renewal therapy. As I left Bisous Esthetics, my skin was radiant, and my spirits were lifted. I highly recommend Bisous Esthetics and am excited for my next facial!

We had the BEST experience at Heart of Texas Oral Surgery/Bastrop Oral Surgery. We had seen Dr…read more Alford for a previous issue a couple of years ago, and he was honest with me and super knowledgeable. Last week Dr. Thaker removed my 14 year old's wisdom teeth. He answered all of my questions, and his confidence left me with zero worries about leaving my daughter in his care. Every single person in the office made us feel welcome, heard and cared for. Everything was explained in detail up front as well. On the day of surgery, my daughter expressed anxiety about anesthesia, and our nurse Taylor was exceptionally kind and walked her through each step. After the procedure, my daughter only wanted Taylor to comfort her, which says a great deal about her bedside manner. Despite being busy, she took the extra time to comfort and take care of my girl. We are a lifelong customer and will be back for anything our family needs in terms of oral and facial surgery. Thank y'all for everything.

First of all, the receptionist (Rebecca) was very kind, and the young woman named Taylor was the assistant to the surgeon and sat and asked so many good questions about my mom's medications (my mom is 87 and on a lot of them!) She was easy going and calmed my mom, who can get very anxious in new places. When Dr. Christopher Cason came into the exam room, he couldn't have been more present, considerate, and informative. Plus, he has a British accent and big, brown eyes and seemed very caring, if it's okay to say that about him :) Anyway, after discussing that my mom wouldn't be able to have general anesthesia -- due to the fact she is on blood thinners and takes prolia shots and it could cause severe problems -- I asked the doctor if she NEEDED to have her rear tooth removed as she wasn't having any difficulties nor pain because of it. Dr. Cason said it was NOT necessary, and if, in the future, it became a problem, we could always set up another time for surgery etc. I could see the relief on my mom's face when it was decided we would bypass this surgery. One more thing you should know: they do not accept Medicare at this business, so it saved my mom a lot of money because I don't know what it would have cost, but probably several thousand dollars. In summation, I would definitely return to this oral surgery place because these folks gained my TRUST AND RESPECT! Thank you Taylor, Rebecca and Dr. Cason!

Absolutely the worst business I have ever witnessed in my entire life!! I went in for a wound…read more The dr didn't even touch the wound, she just said "it's healing well". All she was interested in was looking at moles and cutting them off. I paid my total before I left the office. No one called me with results for well over 3 weeks. Once they called, they were only interested in making THREE more appointments to remove more of the moles. They refused to do all three at once due to "insurance". I reminded them that I was cash pay but again they told me they could not do it in one visit. All they want is to make as much money off of you as possible. Now let me discuss their phone system. YOU cannot GET A HOLD OF THEM! I've called the office, numbers online, on receipt, I've left messages, I've waited on hold for 40 mins, they NEVER call you back! I recently received another bill, which I'm happy to pay, but I have no idea what the extra cost is for and there is absolutely no way to get a hold of a person to ask. If anyone goes to the office, please tell them to call me, but I would not recommend it! Waste of time!

Rural healthcare is the pits and thankfully quality drs and staff are coming to the more rural areas. I'm almost 70, spent my younger years on the beaches in Hawaii, Texas and Florida, therefore lots of sun damage. For the last 25 years I've seen a derm at least every 6 months. Many surgeries, excisions and treatments for BCCs and AK's. I've seen Dermatologists that run you thru like cattle, miss spots that the next one finds, Drs who don't see well and allow their nurses to spot the cancers. There are Drs that are more about the cosmetic side. And some that are hard to work with on the insurance side. And many clinics don't know about or offer the latest technologies. NONE OF THAT HERE. I see Dr. Ma at this clinic. She was recommended to me by a friend who sees her in Hallettsville. I had a great Dr but he moved. She's as good as my last if not better. She's knowledgeable, efficient, great at explaining, respectful and she's fast. The staff is also great: receptionists, billing, nurses.. they also offer the latest (and greatest) treatment for BCC and SCC which is GENTLE CURE. It's a commitment but well worth avoiding more disfiguring scars on my face. Their Radiology Technologists are the best. It beats Mohs surgery by a mile!! I highly recommend this clinic.
