Dr. Sayed with her staff performed a biopsy, she told me she was pretty sure it was a Squamous Cell but we wouldn't be sure until the results were back. They explained this would take seven to ten days. On the tenth day the office called me to confirm Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Less than one week later (today) Dr. Otchere removed growth and has sent it in to make sure it has all been removed. I appreciate the sense of urgency, care and kindness of the staff here at Vitalogy.

ALL of them were called and fully serviced ahead of me, some with stated appointment 15-30 minutes after mine. I confronted the receptionist on 2 occasions - 10.30 and again at 10.50 and was told each time I would be next. At 11.00am I got up and cancelled my appointment only to be told I was not there. What a joke. I was 10 feet in front of the receptionist for the full 60 minutes. Absolutely terrible experience and a poorly run office with zero customer service skills. Receptionist was pleasant but did not seem able to influence anybody.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance exuded tranquility and relaxation, setting the perfect tone for my pampering session. One aspect that truly stood out was the personalized approach taken by Ashley. She not only addressed my current skin issues but also provided valuable insights and recommendations for maintaining healthy skin in the long run. It's evident that she genuinely cares about her clients' well-being and strives to exceed their expectations. Bisous has a nice shopping area with everything from gemstone bracelets to skincare. I chose a pretty pearl Hamsa bracelet and the Colorescience eye renewal therapy. As I left Bisous Esthetics, my skin was radiant, and my spirits were lifted. I highly recommend Bisous Esthetics and am excited for my next facial!

Absolutely the worst business I have ever witnessed in my entire life!! I went in for a wound…read more The dr didn't even touch the wound, she just said "it's healing well". All she was interested in was looking at moles and cutting them off. I paid my total before I left the office. No one called me with results for well over 3 weeks. Once they called, they were only interested in making THREE more appointments to remove more of the moles. They refused to do all three at once due to "insurance". I reminded them that I was cash pay but again they told me they could not do it in one visit. All they want is to make as much money off of you as possible. Now let me discuss their phone system. YOU cannot GET A HOLD OF THEM! I've called the office, numbers online, on receipt, I've left messages, I've waited on hold for 40 mins, they NEVER call you back! I recently received another bill, which I'm happy to pay, but I have no idea what the extra cost is for and there is absolutely no way to get a hold of a person to ask. If anyone goes to the office, please tell them to call me, but I would not recommend it! Waste of time!

I don't understand the negative reviews. I am very very satisfied with Tru-Skin in Bastrop, so much…read moreso that I'm embarrassed to say how far I drive for an appointment here. Rural healthcare is the pits and thankfully quality drs and staff are coming to the more rural areas. I'm almost 70, spent my younger years on the beaches in Hawaii, Texas and Florida, therefore lots of sun damage. For the last 25 years I've seen a derm at least every 6 months. Many surgeries, excisions and treatments for BCCs and AK's. I've seen Dermatologists that run you thru like cattle, miss spots that the next one finds, Drs who don't see well and allow their nurses to spot the cancers. There are Drs that are more about the cosmetic side. And some that are hard to work with on the insurance side. And many clinics don't know about or offer the latest technologies. NONE OF THAT HERE. I see Dr. Ma at this clinic. She was recommended to me by a friend who sees her in Hallettsville. I had a great Dr but he moved. She's as good as my last if not better. She's knowledgeable, efficient, great at explaining, respectful and she's fast. The staff is also great: receptionists, billing, nurses.. they also offer the latest (and greatest) treatment for BCC and SCC which is GENTLE CURE. It's a commitment but well worth avoiding more disfiguring scars on my face. Their Radiology Technologists are the best. It beats Mohs surgery by a mile!! I highly recommend this clinic.

Great relaxing day for our first visit to Ottine Springs…read more The place was recommended by a friend and I made reservations about a week out. You must have reservations fyi. The drive from Austin is easy and took about an hour and 20 minutes. Whe we arrived we checked in and got our free towel. The lady explained the layout of the pools and we headed to changing room and shower before entering pools. The restrooms were super clean and had free lockers to lock valuables. Once showered and ready we(my party of 4) headed out and found some lounge chairs close to the Sage pool. The chairs and hammocks are first come but there were plenty. We entered Sage pool which was 95 degrees and felt amazing. Next we went to foot reflexology pool that was 98 degrees and had stones in bottom that run your feet while you move around pool. We then headed to sauna that was HOT and awesome. After 15 minutes and being soaked in sweat we headed to 54 degrees cold plunge burrrrrrr. It felt amazing and my muscles were relaxed and inflammation gone. We also spent some time at the cafe getting a fresh juice and the ladies and frose which they loved. My friend John enjoyed a grilled cheese and loved it as well. This was a romantic -!: relaxing day that was so needed. The group all decided we would make this a quarterly visit for our health!!

Heavenly and way cooler than I expected. My new favorite spot! Ottine Mineral Springs was amazing!…read moreIt is totally a hidden gem and they are currently expanding it making it even more cool. They are adding hotel rooms to stay overnight, updating a chapel to hold event spaces, and making a private indoors soaking area. Parking can be bit tight. We got there at noon and got one of the last few spots. You just walk down a staircase from there and you will see the entrance on the right. They have multiple pools with different temps and vibes. The large main one is like a swimming pool vibe. Behind that is a cold plunge and hot tub. Both wonderful! There is also a sauna in the corner of that section. There are two other pools one has two waterfalls that you can swim under and relax on the other side. The last pool has a rock wall with water coming out and a rocky stone bottom to get a good massage to the feet. I loved this feature! The grounds are very well thought out with lovely landscaping. There are three or four different areas with loungers to spread out depending on which pool you are at. They also have hammocks to chill in. We went on a Wednesday and I believe it was whisper Wednesday but no one was really quiet and I probably could have done a better job myself. People were just talking but no one was loud or obnoxious. I think this could have been enforced more it may bother some people really looking for peace and quiet but I didn't mind. The day pass for a weekday was $70 and we also booked a sound bath that was $27. I highly recommend the added sound batch. There are two more soaking pools in this area that I thought had the most mineral content and was across from the regular amenities offering some privacy from everyone. They also had a bathroom and a shower area. The lockers and bathrooms in the main area can be a little crowded just be patient. People change in and out of the locker room fairly quickly so just wait a little bit if you can't get right to where your locker is. The restaurant looked great here but we did not try and food. We just glanced over the menu. Watermelon salad looked good. They had several sandwiches, fire oven pizzas, and some dessert options. I will eat here next time I visit. I left here so zen-ed out and relaxed more than I have felt in a long long time. It was so rejuvenating. Wonderful Experience!
