Leziz Kitchen was empty when we arrived early on this Saturday evening. We decided to share a lamb shish kebab platter and a bottle of tea. We each had our own dessert. Service was excellent. The time taken to decide what to order and the time taken to answer our questions was impressive. Questions were asked to make sure our dinner was exactly what we wanted. Wow! What a surprising find in this random corner of Toronto. I was out for a walk with a friend and decided to check out Leziz for dinner. Thankfully they had dine-in available and we didn't have to do take out in the car. Let's face it... we are all a bit tired of cold take out meals. Upon entering, a woman greeted us, checked our vaccine passports and had us seated promptly. I think it was Selda (the owner)? She was friendly and explained a couple items on the menu we were interested in. We wanted to try the Tarhana soup, and we got a lamb pita and a chicken pita - with hot sauce! The soup was delightful, with layers of flavours, and a unique tangy finish. I couldn't figure out what that was.... but I would absolutely order that again. It was a perfect dish to warm up with. The pitas were huge. LIke... HUGE WIth generous meat potions, the wraps were bursting with flavour. They were quite messy, but most delicious things are right?! During the time we were seated, quite a few people came by to pick up orders. Given the location, they probably don't get a lot of walk-in customers dining in... but they have an excellent take out operation going on. It's really too bad I am not in the area often, but I would make a detour for some Tarhana soup and chicken pita any day! :) read more

Service was great, staff walked me through the menu and provided the different options for my low carb ask and for my family's requests. The lamb skewers were delicious. Perfectly tender and seasoned, medallions not processed. The chicken was tender and the portions were nice BUT the flavor was a bit bland. Even with the sauces provided we had to add hot sauce at home. Would go back! read more

The food here is absolutely delicious. The service is very quick and we did take out and did not have to wait at all for our food. We ordered a falafel sandwich plate with a side of shakshuka. The falafel sandwiches were fully loaded and falafels were very large is in size. They were not heavy and were crispy and perfectly fried get very light and fluffy. The shakshuka was delicious and smokey and one of my favorites. Everything came to under $25. I highly recommend. read more

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, a light shines through... In the form of shawarma and chicken kabobs... We were had a craving for delicious Shawarma and Kebab, and so we decided to give this restaurant a try... and I'm glad we did! I've ordered a couple times from here for delivery, and it has consistently been fast delivery, and importantly the food has been hot and delicious! Not to mention the portions are very generous and price is reasonable! In the Food business, consistency is King! The owner is a lovely and kind woman who personally delivers the food! I recently found out that they originated from Turkey, and so all the food has a bit of a Turkish flare to it, which just adds to the deliciousness! I've only visited Leziz Kitchen once and that was back earlier in the year (late January 2020). I remember it being so nice and warm in there from coming out of the cold. I just ordered a falafel wrap to go (my pic does NOT do it justice). It was well priced, maybe $7 or so. It was made to order with four falafel balls and amazing fresh toppings. It was one of the best falafels I've ever eaten! There was so much attention to detail in the preparation and the spice level. The gentleman that served me was very nice and really appreciated my business too. Will definitely go back next time I want a falafel wrap. read more

This place is pure magic. There aren't words to describe how delicious the food here is. Coming from an Arab background, I've had my fair share of grilled meats on a stick. The grilled meat selection here is the best I've had in the Toronto or Chicagoland area. Perfectly seasoned and oh so juicy. But above all, the hospitality is second to none. It doesn't get much better than this family owned and run Turkish restaurant. The falafel is chunky so homemade and so tasty. Hot sauce is very well spiced not too hot but with the tahiti sauce is the perfect dip for the falafel. The falafel plate is 2 meals in one! Huge serving of hummus - get an extra pita (also fresh and tasty) to use on the hummus. The chickpea salad has made me a huge fan of chickpeas now. The hint of mint makes all the difference. read more

Simple and delicious. The hummus is yum and the meat platter is just delicious. Parking can be challenging but worth it.

Stopped in here as they were one of the only places in the area open on Victoria Day. We are glad they were. Leziz serves excellent, authentic Turkish / Mediterranean food, with nicely charred meats and bright, fresh veggies. The owner (I assume) was very friendly and hospitable. I don't live in the area, but wouldn't hesitate to come back next time we're near IKEA / Sherway Gardens. read more

First time we came to celebrate my aunt's birthday at Leziz, Horner Street. Looked at Past reviews, they were very helpful. Leziz is a "gem" find, food was delicious, authentic, and generous portion. We ordered Falafel balls, chicken sharawma, combo dips, red lentils soup and all were excellent! The owner, Selda, gave a special touch by offering my aunt a special Turkish cookies with coffee free of charge. Thanks so much Selda for making this memorable to my aunt. Very easy to miss, but hard to forget. Had Shawarma sandwich, and chicken shawarma on rice. The rice dish came with roasted carrots and potatoes that were very homey and satisfying. The rice is rich, and very flavourful. The shawarma had all the fixings scratch made, veggies, salads, assorted pickles and sauce. My only qualm was the garlic sauce could have a tad more garlicky but I like it strong. The main event is the chicken, juicy, with crispy edges from the vertical rotisserie and beautifully seasoned. I cannot believe I drove past for 2 years and didn't try. Great family that run the business, very genuine which comes across in the food. read more
