The first time I had a decent experience and that is why I chose to do business again. I went in to have labels sewn on my merchandise. Now before going in I went to Google to see what the average price would be to complete such a task. I went in and explained everything. The first time no problem but this time Sue wanted to raise the price. I asked why the price went up and she explained that she pays someone else to do the work so she would have to take time into consideration. I totally understood but how come the first time it was not a concern? I told Sue that I would find someone else to do the work and she said she would do it this one last time but would have to let me know about next time. I explained to Sue if I was going to continue to do business I would like the price to remain the same. She explained what her normal price was and again I told her that I was not interested in doing business. She wanted the business (money) so she said she would do it for the original price but would get back with me on the future price. After going back and forth with her I finally gave in and let Alterations by Sue complete the task. Two days later I contacted Sue to see if the work was complete and she informed me it was. She also informed me that I did not bring enough labels and that she contacted me to let me know (no missed calls). I counted every item and label twice before taking them to her establishment so I'm still confused on where four of my labels disappeared to. She also expressed to me that she pays the girl more than what I was going to be paying her so she would have to double the price. Needless to say I did not bring the extra four labels to be put on the remaining merchandise. Before hanging the phone up I asked what the price would be just to make sure she kept her word and that I had exact change upon arrival. She seemed confused when I asked, like she was thinking about the price we agreed on just two days before. After about a minute she told me what the price would be before tax but again I wanted to know how much it would be exactly. I ended up doing the math myself because she was not able. I picked up my items, paid, and thanked her and left. I get home to inspect the work and 90% of the items were literally balled up in the packaging. When I dropped the items off they were neatly folded in each package so needless to say I was really upset that I got them back and they were balled up. WRINKLES!!! The only reason I gave two stars is because the first visit was pleasant. It was like this time she was a whole different person. Maybe you will have a different experience but I will not be spending my money with Alterations by Sue again!!!

Because of this, I had settled on another cut and was fully expecting that cut for our engagement. When my fiancé had popped the question and showed me the ring, I was STUNNNED. I was in shock that he had found the cut I wanted as well as incorporated all of the small details that we had talked about. The gentleman at Apollo advised making it larger and give it a week and see. The ring would fit right some days and almost fell off others as I suspected. When I went back to explore other routes he had a genius idea. He said he could place 2 gold beads inside the ring. It would grab the knuckle and stay secure but if my fingers swelled it would not hug the side of the ring. Been wearing it for a week and it's the absolute perfect fit. I don't feel the beads at all and wont have to worry about it falling off. Customer service was great and turn around time was very fast. A+ will be going back for my jewelry needs.
