    New vanity, tile

I am so thankful for Ani and her team. LGC worked with me to repair work from a previous contractor and to remodel my bathroom and drains, install a door and re- til and update my laundry hookups. Not only did they do a beautiful job, but everyone that came to my house was respectful and committed to excellence. I would definitely work with them again.

    Winpoint Construction - So nice

    Winpoint Construction

We had a tough time trying to find a contractor to fully remodel our kitchen. We interviewed eight…read morecontractors before we finally stumbled upon Winpoint, through the help of Yelp. There were many contractors with high Yelp ratings, but we found the majority of the ones we spoke with were outrageously expensive and beyond our budget. The few that were within our budget felt untrustworthy, based on conflicting information/advice other contractors had given us. Then, with met with Winpoint's owner, Jun Wang. At our initial consultation, Jun patiently spent a fair amount of time learning about the vision we had for the new kitchen. The communication was clear. His demeanor and conduct were professional. He explained what he could and couldn't (or shouldn't) do. At the end of that consultation, he submitted a quote that I thought was (finally) a good value and affordable. He said our project was going to take six weeks. When all was said and done, it took exactly six weeks to complete. No excuses for why they couldn't finish on time, despite whatever roadblocks they dealt with along the way. I appreciated that he pushed hard enough to stay on schedule. In the end, he did what he said he would do - there were no broken promises. That was important to me. Winpoint is a smaller company. It doesn't have all of the overhead larger companies have, which means, in his case, that lower operational costs get passed onto the customer. If you need something, you deal directly with Jun, not a telephone menu from hell, not a phone operator, apprentice or assistant project manager. While he did have other concurrent remodeling jobs, I found Jun to be responsive to our needs, questions and concerns and never felt we had to wait in line to get something done. Jun is very good at scheduling. We had no bottlenecks during our six weeks construction period. With the exception of cabinet and countertop installation, Jun does not use subcontractors. Electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, tile installation, window installation, etc. are all completely within his control, which basically means that anything that doesn't go perfectly can (and does) get fixed by his employees right away and, more importantly, to his (and our) satisfaction. All of his employees are very good at their respective areas of expertise. Any minor imperfections were dealt with and rectified in a timely manner. Overall, I can recommend Winpoint for your kitchen or remodeling project. If you are looking for a good value and quality work, Jun is your man.

In the past, we've had issues with contractors being difficult to reach or completely ghosting us, but that was never a concern here--communication was clear and timely every step of the way. Jun and his team remodeled two bathrooms for us, including both the showers and bathtubs, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The craftsmanship was outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows in the finished work. Everything was done with care, and the final outcome exceeded our expectations. The quote provided was also one of the most competitive we received, which made the decision even easier. There were no surprises, and the project stayed on schedule. Overall, we're extremely happy we chose to work with Jun and his team and would absolutely recommend them for bathroom remodels or other future projects.

It's actually better than I expected. Building the ADU was my wife's idea, a place for her parents close enough to keep an eye on our kid. I was worried about having any construction crew around, expecting delays and excuses. Thank God, that wasn't the case. They were on the ball, kept to their schedule, and didn't cut corners. The ADU turned out NICE. I appreciated their straight forward no nonsense approach..They told me what needed to be done, how long it would take, and stuck to it..

I've seen projects for more than a year when they were promised it would be done in 4 months. One last thing, I don't like overly confident contractors who see your home as a paycheck and not your home. So when it was time for us to remodel, I felt vulnerable. I had no recommendations and I didn't know where to go to find an honest fair company. I contacted small companies, independent contractors and corporate companies. They all (100%) ignored us or never followed up. My wife believed this was just the process. Then I spoke to Henry. Henry came to our home on a Sunday morning 1/2 an hour before he said he'd be at our home. My first impression was he is different from anyone I've ever met. Henry is honest, polite, respectful, intelligent and funny. His vision of my kitchen and bathroom was completely different from what I envisioned but, we're happy we choose what Henry wanted to do. As he promised, he knocks on the door at 7 AM and everything is cleaned and put away before they are finished. I'm now writing this 10 months from the day I met Henry. If you hire Henry, he's got life experiences and character that you want to throw your arms around.

His experience, knowledge, personable demeanor, and transparency made what could have been a very stressful process easy and fluid. He is an excellent communicator and provided ample guidance and flexibility with the design process. His staff was punctual, efficient, and cleaned up at the end of every day. We really appreciated David who installed our tile with precision, care, and artistry. We are extremely happy with the outcome of our bathroom and look forward to working with Brandon again. David and Juan do amazing work. They showed up on time everyday and cleaned up at the end of each day. The shower door installers and countertop fabricator do great work as well. When giving us the quote Brandon answered ALL of our questions and listened to what we wanted without trying to add any "extras". He did not make us feel like our project was too small. He kept in constant communication with us during the entire process of picking out tile, fixtures, cabinets, countertop, and during reno. He is knowledgeable and fair in his pricing. We've interviewed a few home builders, checked out their work and reputation, and eventually decided to go with Gil, Oren, and the whole team of Go Home Builders. Working with the insurance was a pain, luckily Gil had experience working with Allstate insurance before, and he helped us a lot getting the money we needed to rebuild our home. The planning process took a bit longer than what we initially planned for. The county of LA took their sweet time approving our plans. Fortunately, after 2 sets of revisions we were fully approved. The construction wasn't bad at all, they had plenty of guys working on our home at the same time. The only time there was no work, was on inspection days. The finishes was one thing that was extremely important for us. My wife and I are detail oriented and wanted to make sure we're choosing the right company to do the finish work correctly. All I can say is that they exceeded my expectations. Overall the beginning of the process was extremely emotional challenging, but the whole team of Go Home Builders made us feel like we're not alone. My wife and I are very grateful for them. I'd highly recommend.

We interviewed multiple…read morecompanies and went with GHB since they seemed the most design-forward and client-friendly of the bunch, and gave us a reasonable quote too. I had a rough vision in mind for fitting a lot into a relatively small space, but wanted to see the options rendered so I could better make the big layout and design decisions. Alexis was very patient and super helpful in mocking up each iteration until we locked in the final design. Once it was time to actually break ground, Gil, Oren, Uriel, and the rest of the team were really responsive and always available by text. Unlike previous contractors we've worked with, they usually gave us an idea of what was happening the next day/week and who to expect onsite. The first ~70% of the project went really smoothly and far exceeded my expectations. Demo, framing, rough plumbing, and electrical all largely went without a hitch. We ran into some problems towards the end around communication, timeline, and subcontractor oversight -- which led to more delays when someone punctured our new in-wall toilet tank and flooded both the bathroom and bedroom. We know every construction job runs into challenges so we weren't bent out of shape by it, and we did appreciate that GHB took full responsibility for fixing the issues. By and large we were really impressed by most of their subcontractors, especially the very professional and considerate plumbing, electrical, and tiling teams! After living with our new bathroom for a while now, we can definitely say it was worth the wait, and such a huge improvement over our previous dysfunctional layout. Thanks to GHB for their great service, amazing attitude, attention to detail, and for bringing the bright, colorful bathroom of my dreams to life!
