It had reached a point where I was no longer able to work, and my daily life was extremely difficult. After trying acupuncture and even strong medications, I still did not experience the relief I desperately needed. I was especially hesitant to move forward with an epidural due to a traumatic experience I had in the past while I was pregnant and in labor at a different facility with another physician. At that time, epidurals are typically performed without imaging, especially in an urgent labor setting, which contributed to my distress. Because of that experience, I was extremely fearful and delayed making the decision for quite some time. However, Dr. Moradian completely changed that experience. He explained that this procedure would be performed under imaging guidance, which immediately gave me more confidence and reassurance. Called, spoke directly to Arman Antanyan (main person who performs these procedures) and set up an appointment, I thought it would be for initial evaluation but he said they could perform the procedure on that same visit. Since there weren't that many reviews (and none mentioning the procedure I needed), and Arman Antanyan is not licensed as an MD in the US, I asked some questions about his training in the procedure, the clinic's success rate with it, and how many times he'd performed it in the past. I got either no answer or vague answers from him to all of these questions. For the last one, once I asked it Arman said he was seeing a patient and I should call later in the day, then when I called after the time he specified it went to voicemail and I left a message asking how many times he'd done the procedure, and when I called an hour later (still during business hours) it went straight to voicemail, and then an hour after that I got a text from the same clinic # from "Lizzy" saying that they were canceling my appointment because "Our doctors had a discussion and came to a conclusion" that this procedure would "not be effective in your case" based on my medical history - A TOTAL LIE. I'd done all explaining of my medical history during the first phone call when I set up the appointment, they were happy to set it up at that point and only canceled after I started asking questions. TLDR: Clinic canceled appointment after not being able to answer questions about training, experience and success rates, made up lies to justify canceling the appointment. Extremely shady. Do not trust them with your body.
